Liked: The location. The fact it's in the middle of Montmartre compensates for the mediocre services.

Disliked: Too little room everywhere. The receptionist was OK but the rest of the staff not polite or helpful at all.

Liked: Free wifi was great and it was pretty clean for a hostel. It's also handy having an en-suite in every room.

Disliked: No lockers in the rooms.

Liked: Free breakfast, though basic, is very welcome! If it wasn't for the dislikes (which affected my opinion on the stay), this would rate better for me.

Disliked: The TINY room! And TINY bathroom, and TINY toilet. If I'm only 150 cm and I think it's very cramped, I don't know how normal-sized people can handle it. No lockers in the room either, and just no room to put anything, which includes luggage. Also Wifi is weird that it gives you only a certain amount of internet time.

Liked: free and easy internet access and an excellent location in the heart of Paris. front desk staff were also very helpful with directions. the bathroom was modern and offered sufficient privacy.

Disliked: I have to say I felt my room wasn't very sanitary. I know its a hostel andi know that paris is a crowdy city, but my room was four people crammed into a 2x3m space. there were no lockers and not enough room for four travellers to keep their luggage. this made a mess build up pretty fast. the very worst thing though was that one of my roommates had a b.o problem, and the whole room stank because of bad ventilation. while he was gone during the day i tried to open the window to let some air in but couldn't because they were inwards-opening and were blocked by one of the beds! consequently i had very little sleep because i felt so sick in there. i should also mention the kitchen. I appreciate the free breakfast, but when i tried to make my own food in the evening, (just a simple instant soup) i couldn't find a decent-sized bowl or even proper cutlery! how about leaving some spoons, knives and forks out please? otherwise i suggest travellers bring a bit of extra cash and try the great dining in the restaurants located in the local neighbourhood.

Liked: Great Location, basically a block away from the Moulin Rouge. 10 min walk to Sacre Coeur. Good bars and overall safe location, but always be aware as there are some dark alleys. Great atmosphere: Just enough traffic to meet new people but not too busy to wait in line forever. Free internet was a plus and the service was clear and uninterrupted. Great Rooms. Clean, bathrooms were updated. Eating area was cramped but you can eat in the upstairs lounge. Nicely decorated. Great Price for the area. I stayed in places closer to Gard Du Nord and this was by far a better deal.

Disliked: Not the friendliest staff, but I was looking to meet travelers anywho...

Liked: The staff is so bad, except Ana, because she is a good person and give us attention. Good localization, good cleanliness but i think the staff team can better.

Liked: It was near the metro.

Disliked: The kitchen area was extremely basic and there was no toaster. There was no mugs except one and they were all chipped. The shower head would not stay on the wall so you would have to hold the shower head when having a shower. It could have been cleaner and the rooms could have had more to offer, no where to put your clothes.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, clever space design.

Disliked: The upper bunk has no handrail and no ladder to climb up. There's a lot of hair on the blanket. The room is a bit small and I do not know where to put my backpack. If you stay in the room on the ground floor, you can hear people on street talking and smell people smoking outside the window. Amongst these, the hairy blanket bothered me the most and then the dangerous upper bunk.

Liked: The four of us raised the average age by some years - we are all in our mid fifties. This made absolutely no difference - we were welcomed warmly by the staff and the other guests were very friendly. The location is brilliant if you are only in Paris for a short time - very central, very interesting area. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and the bathrooms more than adequate. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the friendliness of the "serving" staff made the experience that much happier.

Liked: very easy to locate, just a few minutes walk from Blanche metro station, near attractions such as moulin rouge and sacre coeur as well, the private rooms we had were clean and it looks good inside
