Liked: The hostel is located in a central place and a few steps ago from a train station that you can use to travel all along Paris.

Liked: All of the furniture was very comfortable and nice-looking. The beds, in particular, were comfy and clean, and made the hostel experience the best I've ever had. The location is probably the best asset of the hostel as it is central, so it was extremely easy for me to get around. The area also feels safe. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. In particular, I found Andre to be the best person in the hostel. Besides being kind and helpful, he was very intelligent and smart and was quick at coming up with solutions and any problems I came across.

Disliked: I liked everything about this hostel.

Liked: the view. it really needs a lot of work and i think everyone trying to stay here should try to stay at st. christopher's instead.

Disliked: the land lady came in wile we were all sleeping, with her dog, to change the toilet paper that didn't need to be changed. she woke up several of us. the staff was instructed not to clean up after guests that had already left. so when i got there the kitchen was filled with expired food and dirty dishes that belonged to no one staying there. the bathroom was in a similar state. she didn't believe at first that the hot plate was broken and then said she would replace it in 3 days. the lack of internet made it really challenging to continue my travel plans. there where also no lockers and the front door was often left unlocked. its not worth the price.

Liked: Everything! Great location, excellent environment for meeting people. This hostel was very clean and the staff (Nils) were very friendly and helpful. I will for sure stay here next time Im in Paris!

Liked: Upon arrival, all I could think about was the great location of the accommodation. Lying in one of the major hubs of Paris, Montparnasse Station, you will be able to go anywhere with ease. After meeting my host at the Columbus Cafe we walked to the flat which was located on one of the higher floors in an amazing building. "Lucky Apartments" was safe, modern, and the hosts were overly hospitable. As I entered the room, the gorgeous view was nearly overwhelming . You will see all of Paris from one of the best views possible. I have sent a colorful photo of the sunset and Eiffel Tower to Lucky Apartments (hopefully it is posted). Later that day, the hostess made it her responsibility to see that the entire group in the apartment had passes and directions to an incredible night club. For me, this was a great bonus and is one of the many reasons why I will use Lucky Apartments every time I visit Paris. After going to the club and having an amazing time out, I managed to find my way home in the early hours of the morning without any effort. Given one of the beds with the foam padding, I slept better than I do at home. This was more of a luxury addition and from anyone who has been to a few hostels, you will notice the difference. In my humble opinion, it's their attention to detail and their hospitality that makes it so special. When looking back on your trip you won't remember the fact that you spent 5-10 euros more on your accommodation, you'll remember that you had an unforgettable night in one of the worlds greatest cities, Paris. Thank you Lucky Apartments.

Liked: Elouise and Nils are awesome! So is everyone else that came through during my stay. We always had lots of fun and the people were all open and friendly. Elouise hooked us up with free entry to a popular event, but unfortunately we could not enter due to some of the members of our party. They have funny stories to tell and always wants offers to answer any questions we had.

Disliked: I dislike the fact that my trip did not allow me to stay longer.

Liked: Amazing view! Clean, comfortable beds. Neils and Eloise were very helpful and understanding. I met some really great people whom were staying there. I feel that as a solo traveler, the close quarters of everyone and lessened privacy (in comparison to other hostels) forced me to talk to others and therefore, had more fun.

Disliked: No formal commons area for people to talk means that it can get a little noisy if you are staying in the front room, trying to sleep, and people want to talk. Also, no lockers or means to lock up valuables. Meeting someone in a cafe and then going to an apartment building was a little unsettling as a female traveling alone.

Liked: Amazing view over Paris and the Eiffel tower!!! The staff were really friendly and helpful and all the people I stayed with were great. A really great place to meet people and explore the city.

Disliked: No area in the apartment to be alone or quiet. If you don't like the idea of having people around you constantly then this isn't for you.

Liked: It had a great location, and a really great view. and the lounge area was nice to sit in and meet people. The Wifi worked well, and all teh people who booked in were like minded people. I like that you felt like you were truly living in Paris.

Disliked: The beds were a little uncomfortable. but not so bad that you couldn't sleep.

Liked: Everything about this hostel was great! The appartment where i stayed was amazing : the view on Paris was wonderful and the appartment itself was really clean. Also, you've got everything you need just out of the appartment : grocery stores, restaurants, great monuments (approx. 10-15 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and "Les Invalides"), etc. The staff is also one of the most positive point of this hostel: friendly, funny and helpful, the people at Lucky Youth will do everything they can to make your trip a real success. Last but not least, the configuration of the hostel (more appartment than dormitory) made it perfect to interact with other backpackers and create new friendships. You won't regret your choice!

Liked: It was right next to the metro stop and easy to get places. You could see the Eiffel Tower from the window and was cosy.

Disliked: The beds were 3 bunk beds on top of each other. This made it kind of difficult to get into the 2nd and 3rd bunks.

Liked: This place is amazing! As soon as you get in, the view takes your breath away. You can see almost the entire city which really helps you get your bearings. You can also lean out and see the Eiffel Tower! It was clean and spacious, even with 10 people.

Disliked: The stove was broken but we managed to cook everything in the microwave

Liked: The apartment is beautiful and amazing, everyone who stayed with us was awesome and made it soo worth while. It had everything we needed from couches to sit on and table to eat, with a kitchen too! The staff was amazing, best hostel owners I've met so far, loved them!

Disliked: We had an incident with another guest staying below us for one night, she was very immature and easily offended by normal behavior of young travelers. In my opinion, don't stay in a hostel if you are too sheltered to handle normal people.

Liked: It had an amazing view of the city (except you couldn't see the Eiffel tower). It was close to a lot of restaurants, and an internet cafe. It was really easy to get around because it was right next to the metro and the buses!

Disliked: I didn't like that I had to wait at the metro station for a half hour for someone to pick me up. Also, you have to call them from a pay phone when you get there. The second number cost 1 Euro, and an answering machine picked up and wasted my money. When I got up to the apartment there were no city maps like most hostels have, and only one bathroom for ten people. Also, there was no internet access like it stated on the website, unless you have your own computer.
