Liked: Great location, Montmartre is a nice area with Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge really close by. The hostel is right next to the metro station Anvers and a 10 minute walking distance to Nord station, making it super convenient for travelers. The free breakfast is nice and it's a fun place to meet other people.

Disliked: No air conditioning, Internet only in the downstairs lounge area.

Liked: Great location - close to Anvers metro stop, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, supermarket, places to eat.

Disliked: My bunk bed was creaky and felt like it ws on a lean? No lock on bathroom door, dorms small for 4 people. Breakfast included in price - bonus.

Liked: The staff were really helpful, it had a great location right near the train stations and sacre ceour.amazing view from room 503!

Disliked: There is only one shower on each floor and one toilet on very second. The shower wasn't super clean either

Liked: Good ensuite bathroom, nice fellow guests, good price. Nice clean new toilets downstairs. Good kitchen facilities. Breakfast included.

Disliked: Wireless internet strength was hopeless - had to cram into one small area.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, easy access to transportation

Disliked: we had a 4 bed room with private bath. The bathroom was clean, but the rug in the room was very dirty looking. The room was very small for 4 adults. The breakfast choices were limited. Overall being this was our first experience in a hostel it was just as we expected it to be.

Liked: The are the hostel is in is great, montmatre is awesome (once you get off the tacky main street). It's also really close to the metro line.

Disliked: The room was tiny! And nearly the most expensive of our entire Europe trip, but I guess that's Paris.

Liked: It was right next to a good metro and right at the base of the Sacre Cour. The free breakfast was also really nice.

Disliked: There were so many people, but not just young people. It was almost too busy and I didn't feel like I could really meet people. It's also located on the edge of a really bad part of town, so I didn't exactly feel safe at night. And the internet was only on the bottom floor, and was very spotty.

Liked: The staff were very knowledgable about the city and suggested places to see and things to do.

Disliked: Whole place needs a facelift. Not very attractive/appealing at all, and not the nicest part of the city either. My room had random junk left all over the place from previous residents.

Liked: Very helpful staff and free wifi downstairs along with free breakfast.

Disliked: As our room wasn't an en-suite the toilet was downstairs which was a pain especially after you'd gone to bed.

Liked: The hostel has elevator which is very helpfl, wireless at the lobby, good breakfast and the staff is really nice and friendly.

Disliked: They could install wireless per floor.

Liked: Everything! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The people staying there are fun and social. Some people I met there booked their flight for the wrong night, and although the hotel was full and they had to stay elsewhere, they were welcomed to use all their facilities as where they could book for the one night wasn't very good.

Disliked: Only small problem was the shower was a bit small to move in, but I am very tall and I managed. There was a toilet on my floor, but I noticed there wasn't one on every floor.

Liked: The atmosphere and character were WONDERFUL. I felt that the people I met at Le Regent Montmartre honestly made my trip to Paris. It is not luxury accommodations, but I had no complaints about anything. If you want to sleep it is quiet enough, but if you want to hang out with your fellow travelers the front porch is a happening place until late into the night/early morning. Loved, loved, loved it.

Disliked: The breakfast isn't that varied, but it's enough - a croissant, coffee/juice, and cereal.

Liked: Felt reasonably safe. Staff were helpful and included breakfasts were good.

Disliked: Pipes were loud, but you got used to it.

Liked: This place was excellent for meeting people and attracting a great crowd! I felt really comfortable and safe all the time, and enjoyed having a bathroom in the room itself! The front desk is open 24 hours a day, so if you ever needed anything at 3 am you know you can find help. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The location was fabulous; there's a train station just out the front, oh and I was always within minutes from the best nutella crepes in Paris!

Disliked: Because It was open 24 hours...some times people would get pretty loud and obnoxious in the hall way...but it goes part in parcel with staying at a hostel so I just brushed it off most nights! The common area is very small and often crowded with no air conditioning...that was a tad uncomfortable.
