Liked: Everything worked out really well. Loved the area the hostel was in. Breakfast was small but very good. Right near sacre coeur. Security was good and we one block away from the metro stop.

Disliked: Directions on this website were very confusing. About ten minutes walk from Gare du Nord but hard to tell where to go if you don't know the area. Might be better off getting a taxi when you arrive and then walking back. Bring your own towel.

Liked: The staff are amazing, willing to speak in French and English which was a great help. We could leave our luggage before and after we'd checked in which was really useful as well.

Disliked: The check in time could be earlier, but the fact that we could leave our luggage that doesn't matter.

Liked: if you are lucky and your window faces Sacré-Cœur, you'll have a great view. also, our room had a nice balcony.

Disliked: -it lacks overall cleanliness. there were holes in the walls, disgusting stains on the carpets and even a little mold in some places. the beds were not cleaned properly (I don't really fancy sleeping on other peoples hair). the room was smaller than expected, but this wouldn't have been a problem if it had been comfortable. -some of the staff members were very laconic and rude (even though one girl did her best to improve our stay). -housekeeping did not provide new towels or even take out the trash -breakfast was very basic (cereal, bread, butter, marmelade, instant coffee, orange juice-ish sugar drink) -another thing (which is something the hostel is not resposible for, but nevertheless was a big turnoff) is that you constantly get hassled by the african people that hang out in groups just outside the hostel. they try to sell you stuff, scam you, even pickpocket you, and are just plain annoying. it did not feel safe at all to walk these strets at night. especially around Sacré-Cœur, you can't walk for 2 minutes without these guys ruining your day.

Liked: We walked from the trainstation to the hostel the night we arrived because it was close, and then we walked to Sacre Coeur the same night after we checked in- and right next to a metro stop! Convenient location! And the breakfast was excellent!!

Disliked: Free towels would be nice, but you can't have everything. Also lockers inthe room would be good.

Liked: well situated, close to the metro, nice food places and some shops.

Disliked: overall a nice hostel, but not very hygenic with the carpet covered floor and the toilet wasn't really cleaned properly. (drain not working)

Liked: Less beds to a room than average. Private bathroom, elevator, luggage storage.

Disliked: The room was obviously old and could have used some renovation/repairs.

Liked: Had a fantastic stay here! Really friendly, happy place. - have always loved tthis area of @aris, its definitely noisy on friday and saturday night, but so is my my street that my house is on. When you stay in such a lively area, its to be expected. For the price it was great as paris is sooooo exspensive. Don't expext 5 star, its a hostel!

Disliked: Nothing except some roomates who decided to let their friends sleep on the floor of our room, but again, its a hostel and it wasn't a supris.

Liked: Touristic location of the propoerty and transport facilities nearby the hostel were the best we could find

Disliked: Private and common rooms need some restauration. Some of them have a strong smell of cigarette smoke. That was a bit disgusting.

Liked: Perfect for people around the age of 20-30, I loved the atmosphere and the staff was great, always available and always willing to help.

Disliked: Shared shower / toilet, but it was always clean so it was OK.

Disliked: Very small bathroom. Ideal for young travellers but not a family with older parents.

Liked: Staff were really freindly and helped me book a room when i messed up my booking!!

Disliked: Impersonal atmosphere / paying for the internet and towls / expensive in comparison to other hostels of this standard

Liked: this place is great, it's clean and it's really easy to get there, the room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast is so good and the location is near downtown and the subway

Liked: Location. It's very easy to get places from the hostels location.

Disliked: Our room was very run down, the beds were springy and uncomfortable.

Liked: Fast access (< 5 min walk) to 2 metro lines

Disliked: the included breakfast was only carbohydrates (cereal / croissants). a piece of fruit or yoghurt would make it better.
