Liked: Overall everything was fine. I am quietly satisfied with the property.

Disliked: What I dislike is the bathroom was very small.

Liked: The hostel is located right across from the Anvers metro station and therefore its safe to get to late in the night.

Disliked: The social area is quite basic and not very comfortable. However, it's fine if you are just popping in to eat your breakfast.

Liked: The room was nice, simple. Loved having the bathroom/toilets in the room itself, and we actually did have a relatively nice view. The staff were helpful when we needed to get around Paris, so that was very nice, we hit all of the sites we wanted to. Comfortable beds, and breakfast was nice. Overall, just a nice place to stay if you're in Paris.

Disliked: Paying for the internet is understandable, I was surprised we didn't have to do it in other places, but we were charged differently (aka more) than what they advertised, which was just a slight annoyance. Other than that, no problems.

Liked: All the amenities were as described. The location to the metro and neighborhood are excellent! Good experience at a fair price.

Disliked: 24 hour check in was bad because we had travelers enter the room at 0100 for the first time and they were quite loud.

Liked: The breakfast was much better than I thought it would be - great value for money in an expensive city! Also the staff at reception spoke perfect English and gave friendly and extremely helpful advice about places to go, and where to go for a good meal.

Disliked: There isn't anything I really disliked about this hostel, I was very happy with everything.

Liked: The location for this hostel is awesome. It is just 100 meter away from Anvers metro station and easy to access CDG airport via Nord. The staff is friendly.

Disliked: If the instruction for laundry can be more clear, it will be better.

Liked: One of the best hostels in paris, excellent wifi, good breakfast, clean rooms and wc in each rooms.

Disliked: its a hostel- hotel , professionally managed so the price of a bed is going up and dowm by the day. Week end is over 31 € , wed. Sometimes at 19 €. . Sometimes a gap of 15 €. this is on the limit for an hostel. I had to reserve carefully.

Liked: I liked that it was in Monmartre, near sacre la coeur.

Disliked: The bathroom was not that clean, and there was one small light bulb in the ceiling. It provided very little light which was very annoying.

Liked: Awesome location - 10 minute walk to Sacre Coeur, 15/20 minute walk to Gare du Nord (helpful for getting to/from the airport). Montmartre is one of my favorite suburbs in Paris; a bit touristy but beautiful buildings and Amazing patisseries! Really good continental breakfast. Some hostels give you a stale croissant and that's it but this hostel had cereal/bread/fresh croissants/juice/tea. Yummy Really helpful staff too.

Disliked: The communal areas were really clean but there was mold EVERYWHERE in the shower. I paid extra to have an ensuite in one of the dorms and the tiles were literally covered in mold. Gross! Thankfully the floor was clean (well, there was no mold - yay!) I would still stay there again and recommend it to others but if it happened a second time I would probably mention it to management.

Liked: The location closed to the station

Disliked: No place to lock personal belongings in the bedroom. The kitchen has only two working stoves.

Liked: The location was great! The hostel is located close to bars, restaurants, Moulin Rouge, the Metro and everything else you may need during your stay. The staff was very helpful with whatever questions we asked.

Disliked: Rooms could be better, it didn't feel like it was a very "fresh" environment. Showers should be refurbished because of the smell of mold. Renovations of first floor was getting started while we were there, hopefully they will do a make-over for the whole hostel. I still would go back there again though.

Liked: Great location, very frendly and helpful staff. There was some confusion since we had changed the booking, and the staff helped us find a great solution. Unlike other hostels, it was calm at night and you could get a good nights sleep. stayed both in a 6 persons dorm and in private double room and both were clean, confortable and functional. Liked: We enjoyed our staying at Le Regent Montmartre. The location is SO GOOD! Really near the metro(just across the street), the lovely Sacre Couer just a short walk away and a quite calm aerea. If you book a room you won´t regret it!

Disliked: The first night it was kind of cold in the room, the other nights it was instead really hot. But if you open a window it´s no problemo.

Liked: The location is excellent! Very close to the Metro. Even though the breakfast was the same each morning, that didn`t bother me.

Disliked: Cleanliness could be better, especially showers.

Liked: Good view if you're lucky enough to get a room on the top floor. Efficient and helpful staff - some more than others. Powerful shower.

Disliked: The first room we stayed in - first floor - had a dirty carpet, smelt of sweat and was so narrow it felt claustrophobic. Very hot, even in October, but an extremely busy road outisde was so noisy with motorbikes, horns and sirens that we had to keep the windows closed - still noisy and impossible to sleep. To give credit to the hostel, they did move us when they saw how distressed we were by the room, and we ended up on the top floor with the nice view. It seemed overpriced for what it offered, especially when we could have stayed in a hotel for a small amount more.

Liked: The location was fantastic, right near the metro and a stones throw away from the Sacre Couer. The staff were very friendly and willing to help out.

Disliked: The toilet was on a different floor and there was only one shower for our whole floor and it was very small.

Liked: This hostel is located very close to Sacre-Coeur and the Montmarte area. The area it's in is awesome, and it's right next to the metro station to get anywhere else. The staff was really helpful, too. I'd definitely go back!

Disliked: The only annoying thing is the wifi only works downstairs, and it gets a bit wonky in the kitchen/dining area if you have an older laptop. It works fine in the lounge, though.

Liked: I liked that there was a bathroom we entered from our room, so only people staying in one room where sharing the bathroom.

Disliked: The toilet in the lounge area and the fact that we had to change our sheets (but we didn't get a clean pillow case)

Liked: It had an excellent location, just down from Sacre Coeur, and one minute walk to the metro. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty clean hostel. Breaky was decent and free. Kitchen was big and had good equipment and utensils etc.

Disliked: The major thing was that it's meant to be a secure hotel with swipe card access only, yet a gypsy was able to get in easily, stroll into the kitchen where there were about 8 people sitting, walk right up to me and steal my iPhone which was sitting next to me on the bench, and then run out of the fire escape door. Needless to say my phone was never seen again. Apparently someone had let the gypsy into the fire escape door a few minutes before my phone was stolen, so obviously the alarm would've gone off, yet the staff did not investigate it straight away. Perhaps if they had have, I would still have my phone???? Also, the wifi was pretty dodgy, and you had to cram into the tiny reception area to use it. Rooms were small.

Liked: 24 h service. Friendly staff. Cosy lobby and activity room. Really good standard of the rooms in general. Clean. Free breakfast

Disliked: We had to run downstairs to visit the toilet (shared bathroom). Un the other hand we got the shared shower just outside our room door. It got a bot crowded at breakfast.

Liked: This is so handy to your essential things when you are a tourist like trains, shops, attractions and staff were very friendly.

Disliked: only Wi-Fi in the lobby.

Liked: I liked the fact the hostel is located in a safe area, close to the Basilique du Sacre Coeur and near the metro station, which made it easier to move around the city. I also enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony of the room, pointing to the basilique and the indoor bathroom.

Disliked: Paying for the internet every day can be quite expensive as they do not offer free access to the computers on display, only free wi-fi.
