The staff can speak very good English so that you will not have any communication problems. The people who work at night are particularly helpful.

Location was great - right by the Metro and near all the sights of Monmatre. The room was basic (as you'd expect for the price) and well kept and the bathroom was very clean with good working facilities.

The staff were helpful. The location was near to le Gare du Nord and a metro station. Our room had a nice view of the area and it was a good first stay in Paris.

Very nice hostel in a very convenient location. Literally 30 seconds away from Sacre Coeur. Stayed there with my children (young teenagers) so just a female group and felt completely safe. Definately added to the experience of our stay in Paris.

Just about everything! The staff was friendly, rooms had great views of the Sacre Coeur and it was located near some great cafes. Also, it's on a street that is generally well-lit and has a lot of pedestrian traffic because it's near the Metro, so I never had any worries about walking back late at night (plus they have 24 desk service, so I *could* come back as late as I wanted to). They provided a safe at the front desk, kept my keys for me while i was out, and had a baggage room, too.

It was in an interesting part of town that I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise.

If you don't mind staying a little off the beaten path but still near some cool places to visit in Paris...then Le Regent Montmartre is the hotel for you. Located in Montmartre just down the hill from Sacre Coeur (one of the cool places to visit) and near Moulin Rouge (another cool place to visit) lies this hidden jewel of a hotel. And, it is cheap too. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and clean. Lucky you if you get a room with a balcony..you will feel like a true Parisian. The staff are courteous and very helpful...and, they speak English too. Vincent was the best! It is also conveniently located on the Metro. A great place for groups.
