Liked: Free breakfast was good and the rooms were decent. There was a luggage room for leaving your stuff if you arrive early. Really close to a metro stop which makes it easy to get in to the centre. Loads of information. A (tiny) kitchen. Useful to have a sink in the room.

Disliked: The shower was horrible! Really tiny and impossible to get changed in! Also as we were in a part of the building separate from the main building across a courtyard we had to go outside to get to the toilets, which wasn't fun in the middle of the night when it was raining.

Liked: Great hostel, great staff, nice quiet neigborhood.

Disliked: The shower facilities were few (1 for two floors) and badly maintained.

Liked: Peolpe are always there to help you out, and the climate is awesome!

Disliked: The showers have an automatic shuting system, that is somewhat conservative. Also try to be in the lower floors because there is no elevator.

Liked: All around great experience. Helpful staff, great location, good music. I will recommend it to all my travelling pals!

Disliked: Cocoa puffs. That is all.

Liked: Location in Montmartre is great. Easy access to anywhere in Paris by proximity to metro stop. Free wi-fi in lobby is pretty fast and reliable.

Disliked: Blankets smelled horrible (but sheets were sufficient).

Liked: It had a sink in the room.

Disliked: The bathroom was a long skinny closet without a light, which was fun to use in the night time. Shower was upstairs and also barely worked, the door keeps opening while you're in it and water leaks out. It is also a push button water valve that dies every 5 seconds. The hallways are INCREDIBLE loud at night and the staff doesn't seem to care. The breakfast is awful and the lady who prepares it/ doesn't know how to clean a dish and has a terrible attitude. Would not recommend for anything other than a last resort.

Liked: Huge rooms, the kitchen and free wifi. The breakfast was what you would expect in Paris.

Disliked: The shower did not have taps but a button you had to push and the water would only stay on for about 10 seconds so you had to keep hittting it and it would take forever to heat up. If you didn't keep hitting the button the water would turn ice cold within 10 seconds and you had to start over again. The shower door was also broken so water would go everywhere.

Liked: The location and breakfast were good. It also seemed like a really good place to meet people and had a very active common room.

Disliked: It was extremely loud, we wouldn't have been able to sleep without earplugs. If you bring earplugs, you'll be alright. They also left our door unlocked after cleaning one day, and although nothing was stolen, that sucked. Also, the bottom bed sheet was not fitted, so we often woke to find ourselves sleeping on the stained, bare mattress.

Liked: Pretty much everything. Location and staff were amazing.

Disliked: Only minor complaint is that lockers werent provided for bags in the rooms but the rooms were locked safely each day. Also a minor mixup with my sheets being taken before i was due to leave so perhaps the cleaning system could be a little better.

Disliked: No elevator but oh well, and shower smelled like mold and blanket was gross... but hey... cant expect perfection it was overall a good stay and I would stay there again!

Liked: Nice staff, clean, as advertised. I won a free night via their Facebook contest and they delivered, so that was great! Not a spot for pub crawls, although they don't care if you do go out at night..they just don't do one themselves. Great atmosphere and I appreciated the free breakfast.

Disliked: Lack of elevator..coming from a lazy American

Liked: I enjoyed the breakfast and the common room.

Disliked: staff was rude, bathrooms were filled with mildew, one couple was screaming about bedbugs although I did not have a problem, and the location is not the best

Liked: A really pleasant experience, free breakfast and lots of amenities available. Not too noisy, and in a hip young artsy part of the city. The atmosphere is really friendly and safe feeling, and most things to see in the city are easily subway accessible from here.

Disliked: No elevator was hard because we were on the 6th floor! Also, the milk for the cereal was warm. There are only bathrooms/showers on some floors. We booked our reservation together but were split up in the beginning- we negotiated with other travelers to switch rooms so my group could be together.

Liked: In a great part of the city with lots of cool, quirky coffee shops and places to hang out.

Disliked: It was extremely loud and noisy since the walls aren't very thick which can be kind of annoying when you are trying to sleep. As well, I had bought a bran new leather jacket and had it hanging on the back of the chair in our room and when the cleaning staff came in during the day they sprayed cleaning chemicals all over it compeltely ruining my jacket. It cannot be cleaned and the hostel did absolutely nothing to help the situation and it was extremely upsetting

Liked: it's a quiet place and rooms were spacious. the staff were really pleasant and helpful.

Disliked: the stairs which i had to climb to the 6th floor where my room was.

Liked: Front desk staff, free wifi if you have a laptop and free breakfast.

Disliked: Small room, so small that the bathroom door did not open all the way. The staff, other than the front desk, were rude. The room was dirty and there was no hand soap. This was not worth the price we paid.

Liked: Friendly, relaxed and well run. I felt very comfortable there. It had the sort charm of the first and last hostel I stayed in Paris - and that was about 50 years ago.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very helpful staff, especially Ainhoa and the French guy who speaks Spanish really well (never caught his name). They even let me eat breakfast early because I was leaving before 7:30. Kitchen is a great place to meet people. GREAT location in Montmarte, the hippest district of Paris.

Disliked: Accomodations depend on what room you get. The rooms on the bottom floor of the other building are pretty bad, but the keycard rooms in the main building are way better, but also more expensive. The non-ensuite showers/bathrooms were dirty and cramped, but hey, it's a hostel, you can't really complain about that.

Liked: The Staff - so helpful and nice!

Disliked: The stairs and the breakfast and the noise that keeps you up and wakes you in the morning
