The area is interesting and easy to get around lots of public transport close by. It takes about 20 mins to get into the inner city. I prefer to stay just outside the city in a more local area, so this hostel suited me.

The location of the hostel is excellent. The rooms were also very clean and towels were provided. Breakfast is included in the price but there wasn't much on offer. Also, the shower water turns itself off every couple of seconds so it is hard to sustain a warm shower. But all in all I could not complain and have stayed in much worse places. I would recommend it highly.

There were large dinning room and a kitchen. This was nice cause eating out in Paris is expensive. We got quite nice breadfast every day with french bread, juices and etc.

The Montclair Hostel is very well located. The staff was very friendly and helpfulness and we enjoyed the sight of the Sacré Coeur from our room. It's also quite cheap to travel in family.

The location was good a quick trip on the metro and it took you to center of main tourists attractions. The hostel staff were very helpful and willing to help out.

Very nice communal areas, good location for Montmarte and clean, basic rooms. Only problems were the hot water ran out a lot so luke warm showers most of the time. Also breakfast a bit basic, only cornflakes and bread rolls

I really liked the location - close to the metro, to Sacre Coeur (walking distance, really)... Breakfasts were nice, and staff were helpful and patient:) I acutally enjoyed walking up and down those narrow winding stairs... great excercise!:) rooms are modest, but clean (bathroooms were cleaned everyday - that's for sure!). The only thing that i didn't enjoy is problems with hot water... had to wash my hair everyday in a sink... hot showers - only in the evening or night - when there are not many people taking showers at the same time. Also - the construction that's supposed to be a tap in the shower cabin... that was a bit weird... we've learnt the trick - push it twice and you'll get water running for about 10-15 secs.... Honestly, though - we've had such a great time in Paris that this hot water thing is really a minor bug... Ah, and the internet - twice as expensive as it is in places roudn the corner... but the speed was good. Overall - really good stay, and if i have to stay in a hostel again (i suaully dont) - would go for this one!

It had a nice atmosphere, the staff were friendly, it had a 24hr reception with no curfew. I only needed a basic room which I got and was very comfortable and well worth the cost

Good location, friendly and helpful Englsih speaking staff, simple but clean rooms. Good facilities, Wifi etc .The strict 3pm check in was a bit inconvenient and there's minimal cooking utensils/cutlery in the kitchen but I would still stay at this hostel again.
