Kristin GunterThe helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Ben was really great. The place has character (loved the hardwood floors and funky decor in the lobby) but could really use some more renevations(get rid of that cheap fake linoleum and just paint the concrete in the private rooms. Need pegs or hooks for hanging towles and clothes. Some elbow grease (Especially the shared showers. The mildew problem is bad. A 1:4 mixture of bleach water sprayed daily will take care of that. Take out the sinks and put in hooks or pegs). We enjoyed hanging out in the courtyard (a few chairs or benches would be good there) and the location was super!! There is a small grocery(beverages, snacks) around the corner and a larger market just up the street going towards the Sacre Coeur for more substantial needs. This hostel is a great place. It was great on our budget. The students I took there really enjoyed themselves. |

Customer reviewThe property was very close to the metro station, only a 2 minute walk which made it convient. It can be loud at night but I did not find it to be too much of a problem and I am a light sleeper. The staff was very helpful with anything you needed help with and are available 24/7. Are able to lock anything valuble up at night in the lock room which was very nice to have available. Would go back again to this hostel if in Paris again. |

Derek KilianGreat hostel. The staff was very helpful and friendly--they overbooked me due to a computer error, but found me another hostel and even payed the difference to put me up there. Thewalk up the stairs is a bit of a hassle if you are on the higher floors. I wouldn`t pay for the internet there either since there is a much cheaper place immediately next door. Clean, good atmosphere. I recommend. |

Andre BarbosaGreat people to meet people. The only problem is that the public area was a little overcrowded. And with only one person in the reception, you usually had to wait for several minutes if you needed anything. |

Customer reviewThe cleanliness was good throughout and I met some friendly people. Be warned though that nothing is done to control the level of noise through the night, so if an American guy and an Irish guy decide to discuss the differences between their language/countries/taste in women at full volume outside at 4 in the morning you'll have to get out of your bunk and go all the way downstairs to deal with it. |

Alamir MansourGood location, very friendly staff and a good chance to meet a lot of people. It was my first time to do a hostel, but I thought it was good. The showers are small, but not that bad ( I'm 6'1 and it wasn't a problem for me). I recommend this place for travelers who spend most of their time outside touring the city and come back to sleep and get ready for the next day of touring! |

Customer reviewThe hostel was good, you need to take the subway to go to the touristics places and also something that I do not like was that in the breakfast you can only take one piece of bread. Also they do not have lift and the stairs are very small so if you have many luggage be careful |

Customer reviewCosy double-bed room on the 6th floor with romantic view of Sacre Coeur. Very friendly staff. Also bathroom was clean. Very nice place to stay except for it is a must to use metro if you want to get to the city center. |

Customer reviewWe were able to find the hostel very easily and found it open and active though we arrived very late- around midnight , due to train snafus. We were very happy about this. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had booked a double ensuite and found what we call in the States one full-sized bed. For lovers this may have worked but for my friend and myself- both tall women- this was not acceptable. The staff graciously gave us another room with two twin beds the next day though. I would not recommend this hostel to travelers my age- 50 something- though because the young people who stayed there did not respect the many signs posted through the place requesting quiet in the common areas. They sat in the courtyard- right outside our window on the first floor smoking and talking - often loudly- till the wee hours of the morning.... and did not respond to polite requests for lowered voices. They clearly had fun though and we learned alot about the interests and activities of some of the travelers- especially a young woman from Slovenia with a deep resonate voice. So for younger travelers this would be a great place, but we were unable to sleep well for all four nights were stayed there. |
