Liked: Friendly staff at reception.

Disliked: Very dirty, old building. Also, there were bedbugs and I took one home with me, probably in my backpack. Despite being careful at home, they spread and I might need to fumigate my house.

Liked: I met some great people also staying here. Wifi was good but only available in the foyer area not the dorms. The hostel is easy to get to with the metro. Breakfasts are quite good but the bowls that they put out for cereal are tiny and you are only allowed one serve. There is a book exchange but its pretty basic. Plenty of tour info in the foyer.

Disliked: The rooms are freezing. There are heaters but when we asked down at the front desk they said they couldn't do anything. Also one of the girls in my room said that her credit card was stolen out of her bag while it was left in the room, because there aren't any lockers. The kitchen facilities are very basic and in a small area - there are no bowls or spoons available. The bathrooms are very tight for space. The people at the front desk moved all my gear without asking me to make room for other people, shifting me to a different room. On numerous occasions I also overheard guests at the front counter complaining about mistakes made with their booking. There aren't any lifts to get up to the rooms if you have difficult luggage. Some of my food was thrown out as well.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a kitchen to cook in and a fridge to store food. The location is not central but it is not bad because there is a metro stop less than 5 minutes walk away.

Disliked: The breakfast was weak, consisting of a very small bowl of cereal, a drink, and a croissant or roll. You´re not allowed to have seconds so this was terrible compared to other hostels. With the food prices in Paris a good breakfast would have been welcome.

Liked: Great location near Jules Joffrin metro station and within walking distance of the Sacre Couer. Really good value for money as price included breakfast. Hostel was quiet (we were on the fifth floor so no noise from the common area) and could see the sacre couer from the room. Pretty standard room for a hostel, bathroom was clean and shower was fine. There is also a locked cupboard where you can store your bags after check-out

Disliked: Nothing really - maybe the staff could've made the beds up instead of giving you sheets to do this yourself.

Liked: Cheap, close to metro. Free WiFi in main lobby only. Good breakfasts.

Disliked: Dirty, too many stairs, noisy, lots of partiers in the middle of night, not enough hot water.

Liked: the location is good . Near to Metro station .

Disliked: If you are given a room on 5th floor you have to climb the stairs with all your luggage . There is no provision to keep the place noise free , the kitchen and dining area is exteremly small and is always too corwded .

Liked: I think the staff was friendly. They allowed me to keep my luggage in luggage storage both before I checked in and after I checked out which was extremely helpful.

Disliked: I stayed in a room that was very, very small. It should probably be stayed in by 1 person, not 3 people. For some reason, there was a shower in the room (which was extremely dirty...there was dirt and hair on the ground of the bathroom), but there was no toilet in the room. You had to leave the room if you wanted to go to the bathroom. There was also no lockers to keep my stuff safe...I only stayed 1 night so it wasn't much of a problem, but if I were to stay longer, it would be nice to have lockers to secure my belongings.

Liked: Loved the location. The people working there are brilliant and the vibe was great. The building is a bit banged up, but just enough to give it character. The place does what it "says on the packet", but adds some really fun staff members and brilliant atmoshpere. The flexible hours and proximity to the metro was brilliant. The area is really buzzing and the fact that Sacre Coeur is so close is an added bonus.

Liked: Central, no curfew, decent breakfast, clean sheets, good kitchen & PC facilities.

Disliked: shared bathrooms not clean, 1 kitchen staff and one reception staff not friendly - pity because the others are very nice.

Disliked: Entiendo que están remodelando, pero como me tocaron las habitaciones sin remodelar, estaban bastante faltas de mejoras.

Liked: This hostel is worth of money for its facility and friendly staff. I will recommend it to travellors under budget.

Disliked: Non..It's better you don't carry a big luggage because you will need to carry them all the way up by staris..

Liked: the location was good, most of the staffs (NOT all) were very friendly and helpful (and spoke good English btw), the atmosphere was really nice

Disliked: the room was kinda very small and not spacious; not so many electric plugs in the room, and one of the only two plugs in my room didn't work properly; it felt very narrow (and small); and the lady who worked in the breakfast room was very rude (shooing us away while we still had not finished our breakfast!); also quite expensive (but hostels in Paris were all expensive anyway)

Liked: Cheap location in Paris. My shared room had it's private bathroom with shower for the 6 people in the room. Breakfast was good. Very close to the subway.

Disliked: The sheets had been washed (i knew, because they give it at reception), but there were old stains on it.

Liked: Could make some friends, the hostel area is safe, breakfast is good, next to a metro station, there are some good and not so expensive restaurants nearby but it´s need to walk a bit in the neighbourhood and ckeck them out. It´s within a walking distance to Sacre Coeur (10 minute-walk).

Disliked: I stayed in an ensuited 6 bed dorm but the toilet was really small and cramped. There are no lockers the way you can take your personal higiene stuff out of your luggage and have them in handy, so you gotta keep on opening and locking your your luggage during your whole stay.
