Step into the world of Amelie Poulain in this charming Montmartre apartment right across the street from Monsieur Collignon’s Epicerie, and a short walk from Amelie’s cafe.

The apartment “Amelie,” named for the adorable protagonist of Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film, is located in the best part of Montmartre - steps away from a variety of charming cafes, art galleries and great shopping, but still insulated from the more touristy streets so you can really experience genuine Paris living. That being said, if you want to walk through open art markets or enjoy the beautiful views of Paris from Sacre Coeur, it’s just a short walk to the popular western part of Montmartre, best known for its crepes and portrait painters.
At night, you can discuss art and philosophy in one of the many relaxing bars and brasseries where locals gather to unwind, or enjoy top-notch jazz performances in the cave at the nearby Autour de Midi. For a little taste of the Moulin Rouge, venture out to see the sights in the former red light district.

If you feel like staying in, you can grab some delicious fresh vegetables, cheeses, breads and wines right down the street at one of the small stores or the open market at Abbesses, and bring them back up to the apartment to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Then kick back, and enjoy watching the street below from Amelie’s point of view.
