Liked: The place was perfecty located, the area is not bad and quite safe. The beds and rooms were comfortable and warm in the winter and the bath was a nice surprise! As was the piano! A modern layout good for two people but could be alright with up to 3- maybe a bit too squishy for more than that. Couples are limited by the duplex set up. Joey was very helpful, there was free wi-fi and the owners had even ery nicely provided us with all the information we would need for instance taxi numbers and two bottles of wine to boot!

Disliked: We wanted to use the apartment to save money and cook at home bt there was no oven, so that made it a bit difficult. But that was the only worry- everything else was great

Liked: Most amazing modern apartment-way better than the pictures!! A bit out of the centre but so fine as the bus and metro are less than 5 minute walking distance away! So great if your budgeting as we made breakfast and dinner at home every day!

Disliked: There was very little that we didn't like. The steep flights of stairs up to the apartment was a bit annoying with all our luggage but we only had to do that twice!!

Liked: Well, we spent 5 nights with my girlfriend in this apartment. To be honest, the apartment and surroundings seemed ugly at first glance.. But when you omitt old wooden gate in bad condition and wild garden apartment itself is pretty cosy and has it own atmosphere. It is not super clean or super equipped but we didn't spend much time there anyway. It is comfortable enough to have a pleasent sleep, refreshing shower and nice lauch before we continued exploring town. With those benefits (mainly the last one- eating out in Paris can be pretty expensive) on mind it si definitely great place to stay. Stuff is helpful and smiley, but you won't probably see either Jim nor Joey more than once (at the arrival). Area is reasonably sefe both at night and day. And apartment is also well connected with the rest of city by metro.

Disliked: Well generaly, the place could be cleaner. Also there's a lot of stuff in the fridge left by previous guests, some things have expireted looong ago. And there should be definitely done somethig about that wooden gate and unmaintained garden, those things leave such a bad first influence..

Liked: Nice and quiet most of the time (some noise from a nearby school in the afternoons). A Velib automated bike hire location is nearby (recommended).

Disliked: The third floor walk-up with steep stairs is not good for the girlfriend's large suitcase :-). This also applies to the Metro stations, so I'd definitely recommend only backpacks or hand luggage when visiting Paris.

Liked: It`s very good price. Good location. It`s beautifull inside and perfect for 4 persons. I liked so much!

Disliked: The only thing that I don´t like, it´s the entrance...scared me in the first time....but when I come up to the apartment I changed totaly my opinion.

Liked: Great location, clean and spacious, staff came to find us when we were lost, great facilities within the apartment.The piano was an additional bonus.

Disliked: Pay attention to how the keys work. Theres a trick in there somewhere.

Liked: Good location, good transport. The loft is very big and cute.

Disliked: The building is very old. In the neighborhood there were a lot of men staring at women as they walk, kind of disgusting.

Liked: It's a little piece of heaven in an inexpected location. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone. It's not unaffordable, it has everything you need. even a washingmachine,... If I'd live in Paris, I'd want to live here!

Liked: The apartment is 8-10 minutes walking distance from the subway station. There is lidl, Pharmecy and several restaurants nearby. The subway station is at the one end of the M2 line but close to Nation stop. Therefore it is not that difficult to take M1 line where most of the famous tourist spots are. The apartment is small but large enough for 4 people sleeping.

Disliked: The dining table in the kitchen is small and difficult for four people to eat together.

Liked: Apartment was clean, very near the metro station, and it has a Wifi. There was one nice bakery on the way to the station and Lidl as well. It was the good value for the money

Disliked: For some, this apartment could be a bit small, but we didn't mind. We could fit all of ours luggage there, it was small but cozy.

Liked: Having a place to ourselves and not having to worry about other travelers was very nice.

Disliked: It was a little far out and it only contained two beds when we thought that it was going to have 4 but we managed to make it work and it was not a big deal.

Liked: The Apartment has all facilities for use especially for kitchen and pantry. It is in a quiet area with some restaurants for your dinner.

Disliked: It is a little far from Metro exit/entrance. TV signal is quite bad and only a few channel can be watched.

Liked: We change our booking to take the DUPLEX. Apartment was nicely decorated in a modern way and well furnished, we really feeled at home ! The apartment was within easy walking distance to the metro station and line 2 and 3 made access to every spot of Paris very easy (direct to montmartre, Opera). The stove top and clothes washing machine was fantastic as it made our life very easy. hosts who were happy to help whenever possible :) We would stay again without hesitation!

Disliked: entrance of the building should be renovated... ;-)

Liked: My friends and I had a great stay in this apartment for 3 nights. Apartment was clean and in a good shape due to the recent renovations. The apartment is well stocked with dishes, towels, microwave, kettle and cafe machine, hairdryer and other amenities needed for a stay. Jim was a great host : we didn't met him at the apartment (Joey did, whom is also very kind) but we kept in contact through text message and he gave us quick answers to our questions. Close to small restaurant, grocery store, pharmacies. A wonderful alternative and better value than staying in a hotel!

Disliked: a little more dishes would be perfect !

Liked: I had a very pleasant time at this apartment. The location is good with close access to subway. Bakeries, supermarkets, and type of small restaurant. street and apartment are really quiet, and that's really good after one day on the road to visit cloudy noisy places ;-)

Liked: THE GOOD:- I liked that the appartment :) it was safe and warm within easy walking distance to the tube station and local shops. it had free wifi which was great... and a power shower :) + beds were comfy! was great value for money, so would consider staying there again! i'd recommend it for 2-3 adults or maybe even a family of four.

Disliked: THE BAD: - the appartment is quite small and for 4 ppl it often felt a bit claustrophobic. leaving the heaters on during the night was a bad idea as you wake up feeling heavy headed and dazed due to small dimensions of the sleeping area. there was mould in the shower that was previously mentioned in other reviews, which wasnt great and toliet had problems flushing. also having only 1 set of keys for 4 ppl was a nightmare.. as it caused a lot of problems trying to work out where to be when ppl wanted to go back to the appartment as went out individually most days. also having no change of fresh bed linen or fresh towels for the whole week we stayed was not great..or very hygenic fro 4 ppl.

Liked: Jim was very friendly. With a map the apartments are pretty easy to find initially and the Metro is really close. The apartment is small; but that's just Paris. Perfect for us, 3 girls on a wee trip to Paris to visit friends. We just bought food from the Lidl around the corner for breakfast and dinner which saved us plenty of money.

Disliked: The only thing that needs changed about this apartment is some of the cutlery which was rusty! Other than that it was perfect for us.

Liked: Close to the bus and subway stops. Comfortable apartment. Free wifi was a bonus.

Disliked: mould on the bathroom wall, mould on the fan over the stove.

Liked: Apartment is great for a group of friends. Beds were comfortable, Kitchen was small but had a stove and mini fridge. Good for cooking meals which saved us lots of money. So close to the metro.

Disliked: Nothing, although the power box in the kitchen was loud
