Liked: good hot chocolate at breakfast.

Disliked: bring your earplugs and earmuffs to go over the earplugs, because this place has walls that are made of paper and creaking doors, you hear every footstep on the staircase which is quite busy. Lockout from 11-4 which is annoying and they set of the fire alarm every morning at about 10.30am to get you out. Staff aren't the nicest or happiest people i've come across. beds are so creaky that they make a noise even if you blink. would not stay here again.

Liked: I didn't like anything - rude staff and they dont provide bed sheets!!! what kind of place sells bed for a night without sheets. they have a hundred rules and for the price they charge - dont go there!!! spend a couple of euros more and somewhere else

Liked: The location was very good - close enough to the Eiffel Tower and a Metro station...and the free breakfast

Disliked: There were barely enough facilities to cater for everyone, the common room area was tiny and some of the staff were very rude. Javier had no interest in even acknowledging customers at stages!

Liked: Absolutely NOTHING!

Disliked: Pretty much everything... The staff were the most unfriendly people that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in the service industry, one guy in particular had no interest in doing his job whatsoever. No friendly smile when we approached the desk, it seemed like our simple requests like charging our phones and camera batteries was such a chore (as there was no power to the power points in our rooms), when we wanted to book an extra 2 nights, he said he didn't know, and we asked him why he didn't know his answer was that he didn't know. If there were no vacancies he could have said I'm really sorry but there are no vacancies, but he was just so rude about it, and when we asked for his help about finding somewhere else that we could stay he refused to help us. Upon checking out the next morning, the same guy was lying on the couch on his laptop (not behind the desk... I'm assuming he is still being paid at this time to do some form of job that he was employed for), and we told him that we were checking out but needed our bags to be held during the day... he simply pointed to the luggage room and mumbled "put them in there" (still lying on the couch), and when we said, so we're checking out now, here's our key", he told us to just leave it on the desk. (By the way, we had paid a €1 deposit for the key, but do you think we got it back? Of course not). A few of the other things that were wrong with this hostel are: ° Internet service was pretty expensive (€2 for half an hour), but half the time it would freeze while you were logged on or the codes on the cards that they gave us wouldn't work, and we weren't the only ones who had trouble with this. ° No power in any of the power points in the rooms °Each night after we had been out and returned to our rooms our key card wouldn't open the door so we had to go back downstairs to get them to reset it °They had a lockout between 11am and 5pm, so you couldn't go to your room between that time, which didn't affect us but we were wondering what they would do if you were sick or something and needed to stay in bed all day... °the showers and toilets were always filthy I definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone and I think Hostel Bookers would be doing themselves a favour if they discontinued their service to the Aloha Hostel.

Liked: Everything especially the buffet breakfast - close to train stop

Disliked: Only negative was one of the guys on reception was not very warm to say the least upon arrival there - others were lovely and welcoming

Liked: Breakfast is really good and kitchen structure also good. Quiet place, ideal for someone looking for peace.

Disliked: Unfriendly staff, bad atmosphere, no lockers in your rooms, too late check in (5 PM), short breakfast period (7:30 - 9), you need to pay for towels and sheets, no fun at all.

Liked: Quite a good common area, with films on every night. It was also near the underground so not too difficult to get into the centre of town.

Disliked: One of the members of staff was extremely rude. Kinda felt that I was putting him out by staying there.

Liked: Conheci pessoas muito legais lá.

Disliked: Os atendentes são mal educados e grossos. Saí do hostel ás 5:30 am e pedi para o atendente chamar um táxi. Ele com muita má vontade acordou ( estava dormindo atrás do balcão) e disse que não tinha aquele horário e que era pra mim ir a pé mesmo. Affff

Liked: Location to Eiffel Tower, Nice Area, Fairly spacious Room, free luggage storage.

Disliked: No lift for luggage, poorly designed bunks and uncomfortable matresses, CURFEW - shouldnt have one!!

Liked: the fact we got out alive with nothing stolen

Disliked: read agin, The website advertises "no more than 4 people per room", we had 6 in our "broomcupboard" but it was off another room that had another 4 in it. The arse had nearly fallen out of my bed and people were using the beds without any linen. also, rooms were never locked and there was nowhere secure for anything.

Disliked: Had to pay towels, sheets and internet at the computers. It wasn't a clean place.
