Liked: This hostel felt exactly as you would imagine a hostel to feel. While the accommodations were a little rough and the shower can hardly be called that, I thought that Aloha Hostel did a good job of accommodating the needs of budget travelers.

Disliked: As a first time visitor to Paris, it was kind of hard to find and it wasn't super clean.

Disliked: Bathrooms not cleaned during the week. Long waits for bathroom access.

Liked: Good WiFi and close to Volontaires metro stop.

Disliked: One shower per floor for about 20 people or more, shower only had cold water, shower curtain was broken so water sprayed everywhere, shower not very clean; breakfast was offered but with limited choice and dining space; deposits necessary for keys, towels and sheets; staff seemed entirely incompetent and not very friendly; there was only one person behind the desk at a time even during peak hours and even then he/she seemed bothered by our requests for assistance.

Liked: The decorating style and the common areas were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and the bar was lovely. The staff at the front desk were friendly The showers in the rooms were very good.

Disliked: Cleaners stole some of my possessions from my closed bag in my room.

Liked: good location, near metro station!! (dont never think about walking to tourist attractions) computer available. theres a cute guy at the reception is very friendly

Disliked: shower is bad. water is not hot at all.

Liked: I liked the location, the ability to use computers to get online, and all of the information/discounted rates to attractions and tours offered by the hostel.

Disliked: I didn't like that the staff was fairly terse. It's not that they are angry all the time, but the way that they answer all questions as shortly as possible can give this impression. They also seem to think you're stupid when you ask a question about a rule that they have posted but don't actually follow, like returning the room key whenever you leave the hostel. Other than that, I suppose it would have been nice if I didn't have to pay four euros and not be reimbursed the two euro deposit on a towel that mysteriously vanished from the room when new roommates moved in, but that is really not their fault.

Liked: the location

Disliked: The plugs inside the rooms don't work, they cut off the heat at night and you freeze, windows are broken and no one intends to fix them and when you ask for an extra blanket they won't provide it. Showers are the worst since you can't change the temperature of the water and you have to press a botton for water to come out for 20 seconds (therefore you freeze)

Disliked: People in our neighborroom are very noisy until 2:00 A.M. ... We can't sleep. Counter staff is not kind and impudent. Facilities are terrible.

Liked: Very Friendly Staff....Always there to welcome you. Lot of Safety measures taken. Free Wi-fi and they have these computers setup for people without laptops. So its really very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and other amenities are as mentioned in the description. 5 mins walk from the nearest Metro Station

Disliked: Nothing much to dislike about this property. The location is pretty good, is like a 30-35 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Charging Points not provided in the room(BUT atmost care is taken in this respect as well....you can leave your items at the reception for charging and it is pretty safe with them) but would hav been gr8 if charging points were also provided in the dorm rooms.

Liked: All things was good.

Disliked: Room key was not working properly. Bathroom was average.

Liked: It had all the services, was close to most of the "Must-see places" and the staff were helpful whenever needed.

Disliked: The toilets and bathrooms were not attached to the room. The showers were dirty. There were no electricity plugs in the room.

Liked: Pretty much nothing.

Disliked: Everything! There was no fun, no going out and meeting people or pub crawls, no music, nothing social at all. They did not reccommend places to meet people, they had fire alarms going off at 3am for ages and the blankets were all dirty. Horrible place.

Liked: The price is relatively fair. Also the computers with free internet helped a lot.

Disliked: The beds were noisy, you have to leave the room at 11 every day (this I didn't understand at all) and you have to pay for bed's sheets, which is the same if a restaurant charge you for a use of spoon..., etc.

Liked: I could ask the crew about everything in english and they knew how to help me. And they have free internet cafe.

Disliked: Everything was good as they describe at the webside. There was nothing to complain at.
