Liked: Fairly good location, 5 minute walk from a metro. 'Grocery store' close by. No curfew. Free wifi. Kitchen. Relaxed atmosphere.

Disliked: Rooms are in serious need of a renovation. If you stay here, sleep with the windows open. Slept with them open one night, no problem. Slept with them closed another's, 4 of 6 people were coughing till they were opened again. I suspect mold. Free wifi is a good thing, but makes people antisocial. Staff continually telling patrons to be quiet when outside, even if no noise is being made. Showers are awful, have to continually press a button to make the water flow. One bathroom per 24 people.

Liked: Good place overall.

Disliked: Nothing was really bad. Maybe the lockout time. Never had to be in the hostel between 11 and 16 hs anyway.

Liked: Great if you want to party all night and are passing through Paris for a few hours and you are too lazy to visit anywhere other than the Eiffel Tower.

Disliked: Aloha is a dirty, miserable hostel if you want to sleep in any sort of comfort. Dorms and wc/showers looked like they are never cleaned except by guests. After paying for use of sheets & towels, I regret not booking into the far better PLUG INN hostel near Montmartre. Stay at the PLUG INN hostel, far cleaner and better value for your money.

Liked: Ability to cook in the kitchen and keep for in the fridge. Free internet. Loved the crepes!! Close to metro and not a far walk from shops, restaurants, and Eiffel Tower. And the free walking tour was great.

Disliked: Having to pay for sheets. The staff who serve breakfast were rude. The showers were horrible -- too small and the water barely runs when other people are showering or using water elsewhere in the hostel.

Liked: Easy to check in and check out, free wi-fi and internet. Showers and bathrooms not too crowded. Nice staff. Helpful.

Disliked: Breakfast was minimal.

Liked: Close to everything. 2min walk from Voltaires metro stop. 20min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Staff were great! They had a safety box that you could use as well as computers. Breakfast was good as well. Sell discounted Disneyland tickets as well which is good!

Disliked: Bit dirty in terms of bathrooms. Our key card always had to get re programmed.

Liked: Really friendly people and very helpful.

Disliked: The `safe locker area` behind their desk was sometimes unguarded when the receptionist went upstairs or something. Kitchen was really dirty and stank weirdly. Pots iin the cupboards had water floating in them for who knows how long.

Liked: Most staff was very kind and willing to help every time. The room was not very big but decent for backpackers. The key card system was good. The breakfast was okay and the facility of self catering was good for me. Shower room was a bit small but was clean. Wifi system was really good and location was good which was very safe. Crepe was really awesome!

Disliked: One woman was accusing me of keeping too much luggage. The reason why I kept my all luggage in the reception was that she said I need to empty the previous room and move on to another room and she said I can keep my luggage during the day and get my another room key card when I come back. Next day, when I came back, she said to me, yelling "oh, how many backs do you keep!" It was just two.. ( a big back pack and a small vinil..) But she didnt listen to me and got angry and wasnt nice to me at all! I even said SORRY.

Liked: It was a great place to socialize, and offered free internet access as well as crepes.

Disliked: It was extremely dirty! the bathrooms were disgusting.

Liked: I liked the envorinment, the location of the hostel and the welcoming attitude of the personnel.

Disliked: The showers are very small and there is just one on every floor.

Liked: Free internet use was great.

Disliked: I found the staff incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I was welcomed without even eye contact and given no information about the services and facilities etc. I therefore had to ask many questions and staff responded reluctantly, as if I was wasting their time.

Disliked: The staff are not helpful at all...this should be #1 priority!! You have people coming for all around the world just wanting to check-in and relax...here don't expect that to happen. Rooms need fans or A/C and more bathrooms!!!

Liked: Good place, busy, friendly, PCs were good to have access to, rooms had a decent amount of space, even though this is still dorm style rooming. Overall, liked it, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
