Liked: Nothing

Disliked: WiFi is horrible. Keeping guests out from 12-16. Staff are basically rude. But this is not only the problem for this hostel, All hostels belong to Hip-pop hostel group provide a not-so-good service. Generally, the hostels in Paris need to be improved. They should learn from Netherlands or Germany.

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Staff are not friendly enough. Bath room very plain, nothing but button push shower. Internet connection was on and off. Luggage room is way too small to store huge backpacks!

Liked: The hostel was clean and in general a good place to stay. The staff was neither helpful nor friendly and the internet at the computer hostels didn't work. Wireless was ok. Breakfast was ok as well. We booked a female dorm but didn't have one. We had to take that hostel as nothing else had the capacity any more, and therfore it really was ok. (and clean!) But the next time I would book earlier, as you really can get more for this money.

Disliked: computers didn't work, very small showers, staff unfriendly, one day only cold water!

Liked: ótimo hostel, café da manhã delicioso, bem limpo e com ótima localização.

Disliked: alguns atendentes da recepção que se sentiram no direito de entrar nos quartos no meio da noite pra conferir se não haviam intrusos. Falta total de respeito.

Liked: only 4 people per room. accommodatinjg staff despite delays.

Disliked: no lockable locker in room for lugage. couldn't check in till 4 - had to wait around as no luggage check (?full?)

Liked: It was easily found with a quick google search once I did find some internet in Paris at the Best Western.

Disliked: I didn't like having to make 2 metro transfers from the main area in downtown Paris near Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Museum Orsy to get there. I didn't like having to use the internet to book a bed. The Aloha doesn't take reservations over the phone, or via fax. I may be the only one traveling with out a computer or other mobile device, but booking a bed proved difficult since I couldn't find an internet cafe in Paris. -- I did stumble upon one but it was closed that night and was closed the next day too. The shower was gross with a lot of hair on the floor and only one hook to hang dry clothes on. And no dry space on the floor to set things there amongst the hairs anyhow. The computers for internet use in the lobby didn't work.

Liked: Free films, free internet (on computers), good location, short walk from Eiffel Tour and near metro stations. Safe friendly area. Friendly but basic breakfast.

Disliked: Although there was a lounge, there was no social area, as the lounge was taken up by computer/laptop users. Would be nice if there was a bar too.

Liked: It was clean, the staff was generally friendly, it was in a nice neighbourhood, there was free breakfast, and it was close to everywhere I wanted to go.

Disliked: The Internet was maxed out a lot of the time, there was one really rude woman who worked there, and you couldn't get in the rooms for 5 hours during the day (which seems excessive).

Liked: The room was good and the hostel had a good vibe about it.

Disliked: The price to hire sheets for the night-ten euros- (with returnable deposit) was completely ridiculous! I understand there are loads of tourists coming through the hostel and sheets go missing but we stayed in about four in Paris and this was the only one to use this ridiculous system- what a joke!

Liked: It was well located and was cheaper than other hostels in Paris. They had free tours and movies every night. Also the kitchen!!!! thats so important when u re travelling to be able to cook you own meals and save a few quids. Free breakfast and free bread.

Disliked: Lots of computer but the internet was extremely slow. Only 2 toilets and 1 shower per floor. And each floor had like 5 rooms with 4/5/6 people in. And as they cleaned in the morning, by the night they would be filthy after so many people using them. There were no lockers, so u would have to leave ur stuff unprotected.

Liked: It had a very sociable atmosphere with big films on every night on the common room television. Internet is free and good quality with speed and apple mac computers.

Disliked: One shower and only two loo's for a whole floor to share. Dodgy bunk-beds that don't seem like they will hold you up for long.

Liked: A good location as far as 'central paris' goes. I meet some other, lovely travelers but other than that, a pretty horrible hostel!

Disliked: The staff, though helpful when you got their attention are slow and at times, discourteous. On my first evening I was reading before going to bed and a staff member popped in to check who I was (waking up a room-mate in the process). Five minutes later he returned to say that there had been a mistake , that his colleague put me in the wrong room and they needed to move me to make way for 3 others, this is at 11:30pm. I reluctantly agreed and was given the key to the room next door. I rushed to gather my things with the staff member attempting to hurry me up. I managed to get my things into the darkened room and found only the top bunk free - sorry to those I woke in the process! As it turns out, the other booking didn't even turn up. Over all the management appears shambollic, shaved monkeys could do a better job. The internet rarely worked and the bathrooms were pretty dirty. You also have to vacate your room between 11am and 4pm, annoying if you just want to read or sleep off a hangover, breakfast finishes at 9am. I was not impressed at all.

Liked: Nice atmosphere in the common room, with a good music and movies. The staff are great.

Disliked: Dirty showers and bathrooms. More or less one shower and two bathrooms for floor, who have 36 beds. I mean, every time you should wait to go in a bathroom. The rooms are very small, without locker or some place to leave your things. Have problems to connect a internet.

Liked: Great location, close to supermarkets, train station and laundromat. Free wifi. Kitchen had a stove and a microwave.

Disliked: Only given one key between the two of us. Not allowed in rooms between 11-4 which is annoying.

Liked: It was close to the metro. The staff was really helpful. There was a safety deposit box at the reception. The free breakfast was great.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the room but luckily the people in my room were really nice and I felt like my stuff was safe anyway. The shower was horrid. The water isn't continuous and it was really small but that was the only bad part.

Liked: The hostel had a very good atmosphere, the people there were friendly and we had a good communal feeling.

Disliked: The place was expensive for £30 a night, you only got a pillow, blanket and a mattress to sleep on

Liked: Free crepes, free breakfast and kitchen facility to cook your own meals. Not bad location, about 25-30 mins walk to the Effel Tower ( not bad if your walking with friends ). 24hour reception.

Disliked: As experienced by two of my friends. They seem to over book their rooms, so you could come back after a night out to someone else in your bed. ( this usually means you will be allocated to another room ). Having to pay cash for hostel, even though I booked online. Paying 1 euro for the room key ( it should be included in the room price ). Paying for bed sheets.
