Liked: This is a great hostel! Don't be scared by the large dorms, each bed contains a curtain and it's like having your own pod, with a light and all, so you have plenty of privacy. The free breakfast is nice. The location, while a bit far from the center of the city, is great and pretty safe! The nearby canal is so pretty too.

Disliked: The bathrooms. As new and nice as this hostel is, and for the money we paid, the bathrooms should have been cleaned more often, the trash cans were literally overflowing.

Liked: Great environment, rooms are clean and pretty spacious, bar downstairs creates a really cool atmosphere to meet people, free breakfast in the morning is clutch. Locations isn't right downtown but very close to metros and easy to get to main points of interest, staff is very helpful

Disliked: if you don't have your own computer they charge you to use the internet on their computers. luggage room is too small for the amount of people staying at the hostel

Liked: its a fun place to stay! the rooms are brilliant ( a lot of space for luggage, u can close the bed with a curtain and so on). Really good for young peopel - cheap, clean and good located

Liked: The most clean hostel I ever stayed at, a huge box underneath the bed to put all your stuff in (requires a big lock), right by the metro, everybody is polite and helpfull. The hostel is connected to a bar/restaurent which makes it easy to meet other travellers.

Disliked: Since everything is so good it's the follwing is only if you really wanna say something negative about the place. Check-out is t 10.30 and if you are'nt leaving town until later that evening there is a luggage room -make sure to put your bag/suitcase in front of the room since it get packed. The restaurent/bar is fairly priced, but if your on a limited budget a small kitchen area would be nice.

Liked: The Staff were extreamly helpful - and having breakfast included was a nice bonus

Disliked: We weren't backpacking so only packed one towel. I would have like to have the option to perhaps pay a small fee a get a towel

Liked: The breakfast is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I really like them. The Internet wifi works wonderfully even in the room. There is a supermarket nearby, laundromat, some cheap eateries and very near Crimee metro station line 7 which takes 20 mins to go down town. Its also close to Laumiere metro station line 5 brings you to Gare du Nord and the airport. The bed is comfortable and with the curtain gives you a sense of privacy in the dorm.

Disliked: Its not in the central part of Paris but I guess it would be more expensive then. I feel that the toilets should be cleaned more often. Then again maybe its the other hostel people/travelers who are just plain disgusting and not know how to clean after themselves.

Liked: The fact that I had a bottom bunk and the privacy curtain on each bed. These are the ONLY things I liked.

Disliked: -My room (111) smelled like vomit throughout my entire stay ...3 nights. Another girl told me that when she arrived that the sink inside of our room was filled with vomit and she had to ask numerous times for someone to clean it up -The cleaning staff are unhygienic and insisted on cleaning our room even though I was changing as was another girl. When we explained if we could have privacy he opened the curtain and said "No it's fine, I won't peek". -In every bathroom I went into, there was either no soap, or no towels for drying your hands- this is digusting for a place that hosts 350 people at a time. -The Internet that they charge for is extremely slow- and it would not allow for me to open my PDF file with my Versailles ticket on it, therefore ruining my plans. -After the horrible 3 nights there- after I waited in line to check out, I asked for my deposit back for my key. The woman behind the desk responded, "If you want to come back here and help me ..fine, but as you can see I'm very busy and all alone here". I don't think a hospitality establishment should blame their "guests" for their shortage of staff nor make a simple process such as Checking Out seem like such a hassle.

Liked: comfortable beds with curtains for privacy and own adaptors.

Disliked: typical st christophers with loads of badly behaved drunken australians in the belushis bar downstairs. pretty expensive considering the location and that you have to pay extra for computer use. dirty bathrooms.

Liked: Clean Staff were friendly Free guided walking tour

Disliked: They told me my second night I would need to change rooms. After re packing all my luggage paying for a storage locker for 12 hrs (@ 5 euros) n than checking back in only to carry all my stuff back to the exact same room. Annoying but not something that would deter me from staying again

Disliked: ridiculously loud lockers, not the cleanest hostel either, but mostly its a very bad / dodgy location.

Liked: It was really modern, fun, and clean. They had a cool looking bar and restaurant and you can get 5 or 10% off drinks, they have a pool table, and there's a club downstairs (which is honestly pretty cool if you're into that whole underground grunge thing), they do free breakfast (if you consider cereal, baguettes and jam breakfast), and have an alright location. When you follow the directions to get there, you go through a rather shady area but then you cross the canal, and get to the nicer part of the town. The place is not in the center of the action, but it's along a nice canal with boats and people playing botchi ball, and there's a metro station just down the road. Their dinner food was great. The ambience of the lobby and the hostel in general was pretty cool. They have these collages on the walls of awesome movies and little blurbs along the room hallways talking about different attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, most of them spoke both French and English,

Disliked: Nothing really... People complain about the loud lockers under the bed and you have to bring your own locks, but it's a hostel, what do you expect. The showers were as clean as any other multiple shower room. The wi-fi kinda sucked in the rooms, but if you move around a bit, it may be possible to get a good signal depending on what room you're in, and the signal's fine in the restaurant/lobby. The staff gives helpful advice on where to go, but it's a good idea to do your own research as well.

Liked: Great, clean, safe location. Great staff.

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like were they mad NOISY lockers at the bottom of the beds! They really should change that, because it is really annoying at night.

Liked: location is pretty good, very close to the metro. staff were helpful, nice to have 24 hour reception. computers for use, lockers in room, free breakfast. overall great experience.

Disliked: prices of coke/fanta at the bar are crazy, but hey thats paris

Liked: The double private room are really good specially if you're travelling with your gf.

Disliked: You can use only hot water inside the bedroom an when turning it on it makes an ugly noise. Just a detail.

Liked: The breakfast that was provided in the cost of the hostel was great! I really enjoyed being able to have a curtain on my bed in order to block out the light if my roommates used the over head light. Also, it made it so that I could have my privacy and read at night or in the morning if I wanted to because there was a little light in each bed.

Disliked: There was only one time where the staff wasn´t very kind, but other than one of the girls that was on staff, everyone else was really nice.

Liked: It was very clean and new. Each bunk had it's own locker for stuff, outlets, and light so even if other people were asleep you could still do things in your bunk. It was a great hostel.

Disliked: It was a little far from everything to see in Paris, but it was in a beautiful location.
