Liked: It was clean, comfortable, and safe. It's a fun place to stay and to meet other travelers.

Disliked: It was pretty far away from central Paris, so be ready to spend some time on the Metro.

Liked: Free breakfast - good enough (cereal and bread - juice & coffee) Seem to know what they're doing, helpful staff. Free wifi! For the most part, the washrooms were cleaned daily which was a big plus! Wash up before everyone else!

Disliked: Sometimes showers got a little dirty in the evening. Washroom on main floor smelly - not enough lockers for people who check-in early but at least you can leave your bags there (just on the floor but it was safe)

Liked: The staff is great and the hostel's security (inside the hostel) is good.

Disliked: I stayed in a shared mixed room with 8 beds. There was always a line to talk to someone of the reception! This is not good when you need some information. The bathroom was dirty. It was cleaned only in the morning, so, at night, it was really dirty. The hostel's location is awful. There is no restaurant around and I didn't fell comfortable to walk around at night, it's not safe.

Liked: A bit far from the center of town, but safe and secure with a lot of privacy. Lockers and sinks in the rooms, toilets and showers down the hall. Pretty clean. Good atmosphere.

Disliked: A bit loud

Liked: a pretty nice place to stay actually, with location close to both metro stations

Disliked: nothing really quite bad actually some of the electricity did go out a night!!!

Liked: Friendly helpful staff, picturesque location. Good facilities.

Disliked: Each bed has a curtain, good for privacy, but very thin and light comes through when other roommates don't bother to turn the light off. Each bed has a generous metal cage locker, good for security but badly designed. The cage has to be pulled all the way out so that the lid can be lifted. With metal construction this is quite noisy. Wooden construction and better design would provide the same benefits without the noise. Bedside light by bed was pretty useless.

Liked: Seems to have a pretty nice disco and bar inside the property. Worth to take a look. The inn offers a 10% discount on the purchase in the bar. And it's hard to find a bar nearby except that one. But the atmosphere is quite good and works till late.

Disliked: A little bit far from the metro (underground) and quite expensive (may be due to the high living expense in Paris). My room card doesn't work on the 2nd day and I have to wait for over 30 mins to get this fixed at the frontdesk (as there are load of visitors waiting for check-in). I asked for speedy request as it only takes 30 seconds but failed.

Liked: The friendliness of staff, rooms were clean and open. The luggage storage was really good - as long as you had a padlock to lock the big metal box.

Disliked: Nothing springs to mind.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and a free tour leaves right from the lobby. In your room you have large lockers and privacy curtains with reading lights and two outlets which is veryvery nice. Free Breakfast includes bread loafs, jam, and cereal.

Disliked: There is no kitchen and no good place to eat if you bought your own food from the supermarket.

Liked: I was by myself for a single night and was very pleased. I shared my room with 7 other very polite and adventurous travelers. The room was HUGE with its own little lounge area apart from the club and pub downstairs. I did not attend the pub, and the food was a little pricey, but it was great for the free breakfast and a quick beer while figuring out your agenda for the day. The staff was helpful on travel details and very funny/friendly. Though it's a little far away from everything, it is very close to the metro and easy to navigate through all of Paris. I HIGHLY recommend.

Disliked: The luggage room could be bigger, but hey, what can you do? No complaints otherwise.

Liked: I loved the great atmosphere and how clean it was!

Disliked: The desk staffers were great: but pretty slow - which got somewhat infuriating. If there could be some training to speed up efficiency, I think that would be great.

Liked: The curtains on the beds were a plus because people were coming in and out of the room at all hours.

Disliked: Location/Atmosphere: We've stayed at other St. Christophers and the bar/hostel has been so busy and lively, we got to Paris and the hostel "bar" closed at 1am on a thursday/friday, the "club" downstairs says its open until 5am, but live music stops at 1am and there is no music/club after that. No one was at the bar except for locals. The bar staff were slow. Just an overall disappointment. Service: staff were not very helpful, did not know the directions to some major train stations, tried to overcharge us an extra night, gave us a VIP card for 25% off food/10% off drinks and when we tried to use it she said that they were not using those cards anymore and that we got 10% off food and drinks. Rooms: only complaint are the lockers under the bed, very loud, and the rooms were hot at night but when you open the window the people outside the hostel smoking are out there until 5am and very loud.

Liked: Clean, comfortable and friendly - no real complaints about the hostel from me!

Disliked: The only complaint is that at night the area gets a little noisy - I was awoken repeatedly by howling from other travelers who were staying at the hostel. Other than that, the only other pseudo-complaint is that it's a little far from the city centre, but the Metro's convenient (though it should be noted that Crimere is a lot closer than Laumiere to the hostel)

Liked: Good clean facilities, excellent room size and friendly atmosphere. Overall we were very happy with the accommodation. Felt safe and secure with the key card system, just make sure the door has shut properly behind you each time.

Disliked: Could have done with a few more facilities for travellers on a budget such as a kitchen area.

Liked: The hostel is very lively but although in the evening and during nights people are in the bar or outside I never really had any problem to fall asleep. The rooms and showers are very clean and there was always hot water. It is very convenient to have someone at the reception 24/24. The hostel is very close to two metro lines so you can either go to the Sacre coeur in like 10 minutes and to the North Station in like 7 minutes.

Disliked: The only comment I have is that there are quite some people and this can be bothersome in the morning since there are not always places to sit and sometimes you need to wait for more plates or bread, etc.
