Liked: Clean, friendly, nice rooms, good showers and facilities etc, nice free breakfast, close to metro station

Disliked: Nothing - though would be good if the luggage storage room had a lock on it.

Liked: Absolutely fabulous staff! They were fantastic. Rooms were clean, and I loved the lockers under the beds, very secure. Great location, near both Lumiere and Crimee stations. Rockin restaurant and bar... definitely try the veggie burger.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: It's very secure, the reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms are some of the best I've ever seen. They're very spacious, with comfortable beds (complete with curtain for privacy), and big locker for your stuff. Most beds also have outlets and lamps. The free breakfast is decent. The location is alright, but you have take the metro into the city.

Disliked: There is no kitchen - the food from Belushi's is quite good, and reasonably priced for Paris, but it adds up fast. The metal lockers are great for storing everything, but so noisy. The storage closet is free, but way too small, so if you can avoid checking in early, you won't have to crawl through - or over - the jungle of bags.

Liked: The cleaning staff were great.

Disliked: front desk staff unhelpful, unfriendly and sometimes rude and flippant. The service at Bellushi's was TERRIBLE. Wifi is only available on the ground floor. No kitchen, no laundry facilities. It's not central to Paris, but was made bearable by the metro being fairly close. There were men staying in my all female room on my all female floor. When I brought this up to reception, all she said was "well they aren't supposed to be there. You could ask them to leave?"

Disliked: The breakfest is not so good, but this is not problem. If you want a better breakfest you need to pay 5 euros!

Liked: dorms are very clean, with curtains at each bed for privacy and a roomy locker to store your things. easy to meet people in the bar or other rooms downstairs. within walking distance to two metro stations, making it easy to get around Paris

Liked: Have stayed here before and would stay here again. Beds have reading lights and curtains so great privacy. Local restaurants serve wonderful French food and staff are very friendly. Incredibaly clean and easy place to meet people.

Disliked: Bar closes at midnight!!!!! Location is a bit of a way out but for the price you can't really expect much more. At least it means that it's relativly quiet at night!

Liked: nice facility

Disliked: When checking out, the one euro key deposit will not be returned automatically. The Staff claimed that the money will “go to Africa” unless we specifically ask for a refund. Since I have other preferred charity, I politely asked for my money back. I did get the one euro back but I also overheard two staff exchanging sarcastic remarks like “what she needs the money for?” “Maybe she needs the money to feed the kids…” For one thing, if they want to claim the money goes to charity, they should display a verifiable donation receipt at the counter.

Liked: Quite clean for a hostel, very secure, bar and restaurant downstairs were a good place to meet others. Free wifi (quick too) was a bonus. Good people friendly atmosphere. Lockers under beds for belongings (locked cages) and well as lockers available downstairs to store belongings in after your stay for minimal price.

Disliked: Squeaky lockers at night. Excessively warm room (but I like the cold).

Liked: Great atmosphere, clean and tidy comfortable beds with curtains across them! I recommend this hostel!

Disliked: In a safe area but you have to bus or metro everywhere - it's not close to anything, although the metro is quick and easy and quite cheap to use.

Liked: Love the private bunks using the curtain...like a little home away from home! ....complete with your own two power points and light to read by. Good atmosphere downstairs in Belushi's bar. Inclusive breakfast. Wifi in the rooms.
