St Christopher's Inns - Paris

Paris is home to our purpose built 300 bed hostel. Our St Christopher's base is just two stops on the Metro from Montmartre and Gare du Nord. This is the most modern Backpackers Hostel in Paris and we've kitted it out with the best tours, packages and facilities for the best, most clued up backpackers in Paris.

This is the benchmark for a new generation of hostels so when you stay with us, be prepared for the time of your life. Expect live music and great parties in our Belushi's Bar. We have free Wi-Fi and fantastic views as seen in the visually tantalising film Amelie.

There's also something a little special for us ladies because we've brought our successful female only floor to Paris - The Oasis'. Here you can escape the boys, enjoy a few extra creature comforts and hit the Streets of Paris, looking human again.

Main weekly events include the infamous Wednesday Karaoke, Friday Student Nights, and Saturday Club Party.

Please note that we do provide linen, but remember to bring your own towel. Breakfast is free of charge. There are large storage lockers in the rooms, just bring your own padlock for security. The hostel also provides daytime luggage storage free of charge so you can go explore the beautiful Paris.

Photo identification is required for check in. Accepted forms are a valid passport, national ID card or drivers licence. Room check-in from 2pm, check-out is 10.30am unless by prior arrangement with the management.

The property is 100% non-smoking. No alcohol is to be consumed in the hostel rooms.

Group bookings for more than 10 people must be made by email. We reserve the right to cancel group bookings which are not made this way. All groups of 6 or more may be subject to a credit card security deposit, which will be refunded upon departure subject to a room check, behaviour and adherence to house rules.

Guests under 18 must stay in a private room with guardians. Guests under 18 are not permitted to share dorm rooms with people who are not part of their group or family. Under 18s are not allowed in the bar after the end of food service.

If you cancel your booking and without 24-hours notice, you will still be charged for at least one night of your stay.

Location Information

The Louvre Museum - the most visited art gallery and museum in the world and home to the Mona Lisa, and Liberty Leading the People. Catch the Metro to the Palais Royal - Musee du Louvre station. Use Metro line 7.

Musee d'Orsay - this former train station isn crammed to the rafters with some of the best French art ever created.

The Latin Quarter - near the Sorbonne University to the left of the Seine. The area boasts some of the finest monuments and educational institutes in the world. It's also a mere 20 minutes from our hostel on Metro line 7.

The Bastille - Get to grips with the French Revolution, the Tennis Court Oath and the real reason why the Bastille was stormed. The area is also a hot spot for night life and the nearby Oberkampf district has some of the best bars and clubs in Paris. Line 5 of the Metro takes you straight there.

Le Marais - one of the most popular and diverse districts in Paris. Famous for its Jewish character, the gay nightlife and the shops along the rue des Francs-Bourgeois. The Mus'e Carnavalet (the Historical Museum of Paris) is also nearby and you can get to all of this, directly on line 7 of the Metro.

Montmartre - For some of the best views across the city, drag yourself to this 130 meter high district. It's in the north of Paris on the right bank of the river and is famous for the white-domed Basilica of the Sacre Coeur and the plethora of nightclubs. It's ten minutes from the hostel and you can get to it directly by bus or line 2.
