Simon Vanden BusscheGare du Nord, Sacré-Coeur and Anvers metro station couple hundreds of metres away. Not the safest of locations, but haven't had any problem returning at 2am. Staff was helpful. Room a bit older, quite cold showers and noise at night, but clean. |

Customer reviewThe best aspect of Vintage Hostel was its location: being able to walk out and be on the steps of Sacre Coeur within minutes was fantastic. It's also surrounded by bars, restaurants and interesting little shops. |

Customer reviewThis hostel is great for young people - perhaps not ideal for those seeking a little tranquilite. It is quite noisy and unfortunately the staff were unsuccessful in curbing the nighttime antics of a really rowdy group of lads when I stayed (several nights running!) - this was the one downside to the hostel and I felt they should have had the interests of their other guests at heart. However, the staff were otherwise very helpful in all other areas, good basic breakfast, fairly clean and decent sized rooms. Perfect location for those travelling to or from the Gare du Nord (5 mins walk) and a pleasant walk into town or to the sights of nearby Montmartre. Would stay again - but definitely not during football season! |

Customer reviewGreat staff, breakfast included, rooms are a bit small and the location is a bit far from the center but only two blocks away from a metro stop off line 2. |

Customer reviewThe property is conveniently located in close proximity to Gare du Nord. The accommodation was clean and the room quiet being located on the 5th floor. Breakfast was a bonus as many establishments do not provide. I will be using Vintage when I next visit Paris in February 2010 and will recommend it to my friends and relations. |

xing chenShiny new interiors with a hotel-style lobby. Nice firm mattresses, though the girls in my room were not provided with sheets. |

Customer reviewLocation good, staff speak their languages, clean. The mattress in our room was bad. Ignoring that annoyance, I would recommend it. |

Meagan NeskyThis hostel was very easy to find. The streets are a little confusing, but once we askedfor directions it was fine. There are trains that come directly from the airport so that was very convenient. Gare du Nord is very close to everything by metro, so everything is very accessible. The staff was very nice and helpful- we recieved good directions on more than one occasion. Overall, we had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. |

Customer reviewReally a great hostel. Seems more like a hostel. Might have been one at a time. About a 10min walk from Gare du Nord station. Really helpful staff and great facilities. Loved the breakfast! |

Kristi KigerVintage Hostel has a great location and a friendly and fun common area. There were a couple of things that lowered its ratings for me though. The staff would answer questions, but were not overly helpful. You really had to keep asking questions to get all of the needed information. For example, on the day that I was leaving the trains were on strike. When I went to ask how to get to the airport, the woman informed me that the trains were on strike. I would have thought that a hostel would post signs about such a pertinent piece of information! Also, there was not even basic soap provided in the bathrooms. I know that hostels are no-frills, but a little hand soap would have been nice. There is free wifi in the common area, which is a plus. There are 2 computers available for rental, and an internet rental place directly across the street. |

Customer reviewVery pleasant hostel. Staff was very nice, the lobby and social area is very nicely done and the rooms are simple but clean and pleasant. Hostel is surronded by all sort of amenities and is very close to the very cool area of Montmartre. |
