Liked: Very good located, close to Garde du Nord and Montmartre. Nice and helpfull staff and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Disliked: It was a bit cold, but since I stayed there in february and France clearly haven't invented radiators yet that's actually nothing to complain about. ;)

Liked: I liked it a lot! Absolutely good price/quality!

Disliked: The kitchen had only a fridge and microvawe, not anything to cook with :/

Liked: I liked the location of the place, the friendliness of some people in the staff, and the big breakfast.

Disliked: The kitchen is not very clean, may be because it is old and decayed. Although there is a lift you have to climb stairs to reach it in the ground floor, in the first floor and in the second floor, so it is useless. The covers of the beds are VERY thin and at night the heating disappears for some reason. The mould on the bathroom ´s ceiling.

Liked: The hostel is in a great location, 2 mins walk from Anvers metro and 5 minutes from Gare du Nord. Free breakfast was very much appreciated and helpful staff. Hostel had a good atmosphere and the 3 bed dorm I booked had an ensuite which was unexpected!

Disliked: Slightly shabby bathroom and blankets provided not that clean, but apart from that, everything great!

Liked: I liked the breakfast in the morning, and the quiet atmosphere. The prices were good and the distance from the Garu de Nore is great especially if you are arriving from there.

Disliked: The place had a strange smell, and the customer service was not great. There was only one half broken powerpoint in a room of 4 beds and the shower was flooding the entire bathroom. When asked for help we were told there was nothing we could do.

Liked: The people at the desk were so helpful....my first day I was so overwhelmed, but the man at the desk showed me all the best metro stations for where I was going. It really gave me confidence and empowered me to venture out on my own. Also, mattresses were good for back support.

Disliked: There was one lady at the desk when I went to claim my bags that didn't seem to be paying attention.

Liked: Perfect location!! Staff were very kind and they offered left over bread even in the evening. Internet were a little slow, but doesn't matter.

Disliked: The room I stayed smelled like mold. I guess rooms are not cleaned well.

Liked: Everything was as described. We were staying in a 4 person dorm and it exceeded my expectations. Had a private in room bathroom that was a very nice change after sharing a bathroom with 20 other people in previous hostels.

Disliked: Nothing that I can really say. It was a good place. If I had to pick one, the elevator was oddly located. There was absolutely no way to use it without climbing stairs. If you have a disability that would be something to consider.

Liked: the locaftion being close to Gare du Nord was handy for us. The communal area was quite nice too....

Disliked: i stayed in a 3 bedroom room - with our bags it was tiny and we could barely move!! the bathroom was also so small and there was a bucket underneath the basin which collected water that shot out of the leaking pipe every time you ran a tap!!! The shower sprayed all over the bathroom floor too making it wet and slippery. The carpets in the property look so old and filthy - I didn't want to even stand on them barefoot!! You are provided with linen - sheets to be precise - and then there is a grubby bally blanket on the bed, which i was too afraid to use, because who knows how often those are washed!!! The pillow was also so thin, I tried folding it over 3 times but still couldn't feel it under my head.The hostel is very noisy with banging doors, no respect from the others staying, and I barely slept a wink!! I woke up feeling unrested and tired. Breakfast also only runs until 09h30. With the sun only coming up around 9 in December, i think this should be extended until at least 10 or 10h30..especially for those who might have arrived late the previous night!

Disliked: the electricity went out haha, it wasn't bad. Breakfast ends too early.
