Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: Everything. The worst hostel I've ever been!

Disliked: Place is vintage thats for sure - old and falling apart Shower didn't work at all, but were able to shower in another room which was ok Only one power point for the whole room (4 people sharing) which wasn't enough

Liked: Near to Gare Du Nord

Disliked: I arrived at night and the guy on reception was so hostile I was shocked. He made no effort to seem welcoming, inform me about facilities and directions were half-hearted. Would really recommend he might try cracking a smile once every so often. I also went to ask if there was a kettle I could use, to which he said no. In the morning at breakfast I saw the kitchen with a sign saying "open until 10pm"....I asked him at 9.30pm. Also my room was not clean, with hair clips on the floor and hairs in the sink - I was the only one staying there that night, so obviously the cleaners themselves do not do a thorough job.

Liked: Close to Notre Dame train station.

Disliked: Check-in took over 2hrs. Put us (2 girls) in a room with a man that looked like he was in his 50's..Guy who checked us in was rude. Computers didn't work.

Liked: Location, it was only 10 minutes walk to the gare du nord station which made it so easy to get around and see the rest of Paris. It was literally 5 minutes on the metro into central Paris. Also there were lots of shops and restaurants around the hostel. The breakfast is amazing, bread croissants and cereal. Our room was very basic but had everything we needed, the shower was decent, lovely big window for having a nose out of, and air conditioning. Staff were very friendly. I would definitley stay here again and recommend it to others.

Disliked: Our beds were a little bit uncomfortable, but after the first night it didn't bother us so much. And after we had checked out on our last day we put our baggage in the locked baggage room downstairs, only to get back and find that someone had been through one of our bags, nothing was taken though. Be a bit wary when leaving your bags in the luggage room as all guests have access to this room so don't leave passports or anything valuable in there.

Liked: Very nice lounge. My room had a balcony.

Disliked: The neighborhood was good. Be careful at night there are shady characters.

Liked: Clean Rooms with individual bathrooms

Disliked: The common area needs to be re-arranged so that it is easier to meet other backpackers. The table arrangement near the computers is great if it was a restaurant but not great for talking. Some long couches should be brought in facing each other with some low coffee tables between them.

Liked: Location to the station is good if you are arriving or leaving early, the staff are friendly and nice and the breakfast is decent.

Disliked: Rooms are very small and the shower in the bathroom tends to leak flooding the bathroom floor in addition the lock on the door didn´t work.

Liked: Great location a short walk from the main railway station, clean rooms, good free breakfast.

Disliked: Staff wernt particularly friendly, no lockers available, and the toilet made me nervous everytime i flushed, as it looked like it would overflow (didnt though!).

Liked: Great location, literally down the road from Gare du Nord so this is perfect for travel stopovers. The included breakfast was very satisfactory and I left my laptop at reception whilst I went out and got it back no problems.

Disliked: Slightly pricey for a hostel but there's not really anywhere cheaper in Paris.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: The thing that most impacted my impression of the Hostel was the person at reception. A place can have bad dorms, but the people can still be friendly. Upon check in I was spoken three words, "cash or card". I was not told what room I was in; it was simply scribbled on a piece of paper and along with the linens, pushed in my direction. There was no introduction to the premises, and the conversation being had with another employee took precedence over helping me.

Liked: I loved the location and especially the distance to and from the train station. It was definitely near everything.

Disliked: I had my phone charger stolen so beware!
