Liked: Location good, staff speak their languages, clean. The mattress in our room was bad. Ignoring that annoyance, I would recommend it.

Liked: This hostel was very easy to find. The streets are a little confusing, but once we askedfor directions it was fine. There are trains that come directly from the airport so that was very convenient. Gare du Nord is very close to everything by metro, so everything is very accessible. The staff was very nice and helpful- we recieved good directions on more than one occasion. Overall, we had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Really a great hostel. Seems more like a hostel. Might have been one at a time. About a 10min walk from Gare du Nord station. Really helpful staff and great facilities. Loved the breakfast!

Liked: Vintage Hostel has a great location and a friendly and fun common area. There were a couple of things that lowered its ratings for me though. The staff would answer questions, but were not overly helpful. You really had to keep asking questions to get all of the needed information. For example, on the day that I was leaving the trains were on strike. When I went to ask how to get to the airport, the woman informed me that the trains were on strike. I would have thought that a hostel would post signs about such a pertinent piece of information! Also, there was not even basic soap provided in the bathrooms. I know that hostels are no-frills, but a little hand soap would have been nice. There is free wifi in the common area, which is a plus. There are 2 computers available for rental, and an internet rental place directly across the street.

Liked: Very pleasant hostel. Staff was very nice, the lobby and social area is very nicely done and the rooms are simple but clean and pleasant. Hostel is surronded by all sort of amenities and is very close to the very cool area of Montmartre.

Liked: The place was nice. The rooms aren't that amazing but we didn't really mind since we only spent time there to sleep. The lobby was very nice. When we weren't walking around we spent our time there. Free wifi is always a big plus for us. Also the staff were very nice and helpful. It was relatively clean. The place is also conveniently located near two metros, a lot of restaurants, a couple of grocery stores and a few good sights (Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, etc.). Overall, I highly recommend this place and if I get the opportunity, I'll definitely come back.

Liked: A great central location with everything a traveller needs in Paris both inside the hostel and within walking distance..Breakfast could last for a little longer than 9.30am would be my only criticism

Liked: Good location close to the Gare du Nord and a short bus ride to the Louvre and Paris Centre. Rooms were very clean and the location is on a little side street and is also very quiet. However not the most social of hostels but for anyone looking for a quiet place to get their head down with a good breakfast and good location it is ideal.

Liked: The property was almost like a hotel, but sharing a room with strangers, which was fine. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms a lot, but the internet was expensive. I stayed in a female suite, and one night there was a man in our room, just fyi. Otherwise it was great! It wasn't easy to meet people, but it's close to Gare du Nord (don't talk to anyone outside that train station there are a lot of scam artists around).

Liked: I spent 3 nights in this hostel and I think it was a good choice. I found it very easily when coming to the "Gare Du nord station" from the airport. I was surprised that the breakfast was so good and it was included in the price of the room. I travelled alone and I was staying in a dorm of 4 people. There was some really nice people staying in the same room with me, and I got new friends, I would really recommend this place. If I am coming to Paris again, I´ll stay in this place again.

Liked: Close to Gard du Nord and other Metro Services, prime location, with all the services available they cater to every need from towels to free bedding, to internet and secure key-card rooms.

Liked: You get what you pay for, and this is a cheap hotel. Cheap isn't necessarily bad, just not very luxurious. The rooms are small (though hotel rooms are small in general in Paris) and especially the bathrooms. What's positive about this hotel is that the rooms are clean, you get free breakfast (big +) and the staff is friendly and speaks english well.What's negative is basically the location, Gare du Nord ain't the prettiest part of Paris and the hotel is situated a bit further away from the Metro than the more expensive hotels.This hotel is suitable for backpackers who don't want to spend to much money on living and for those who plan to only sleep and eat breakfast at the hotel.

Liked: I loved the fact that had it decorated for Halloween! I thought that was cute. Great space, friendly staff, 5-10 min walk from the Metro. I would stay there again!

Liked: Vintage Hostel was amazing. so nice to have our own room with a bathroom, everything was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good too, and free! Thanks Vintage for a wonderful Paris experience :)
