Liked: The location is fantastic; you really can't beat it. The hostel is situated a 5 minute walk from the closest metro stop and only five minutes from Gare du Nord station. The staff was bilingual and very knowledgeable about the area and accommodating.

Disliked: The room itself was not very clean. The bathroom had quite a bit of mildew in the shower and the toilet had trouble flushing.

Liked: Gave us (2) our own room even though we paid for a four person room, without extra charge. Breakfast was quite good, for the price.

Disliked: In a sketchy area, bed squeaked, and not a lot of furnishings in the room with the amount of space.

Liked: The property is cleaned every day and very quiet. The staff are very polite and breakfast is very tasty and healthy.

Disliked: I suggest you check out for change later time

Liked: The location is brilliant, 5 mins from Gare de Nord, 5 mins from Montmartre with lots of cafes and restaurants, but right next door is a cheaper supermarket! Also just up the hill is a stop for the Paris L'Open Tour bus which is very helpful.

Disliked: Our room was very old and not the cleanest, the carpet seemed a bit manky and the shower leaked. But I have stayed here before, and that room was just fine.

Liked: location, 24 hours, most rooms just 2 bunk beds, good lighting. warm, nice kitchen.

Disliked: annoying wi-fi that keeps logging out and requires a code even though it's unsecured. Says linens included but charges for towel. Tiny shower stall floods cause curtain won't stay and no towels to clean up water. stone cold coffee in AM. lots of hall and street noise. only one power outlet. no locker or box in room to secure valuables

Liked: Free breakfast and wifi internet were fantastic, plus the location was incredibly convenient. Was also pleasantly surprised

Disliked: The elevator is on the stairs, and dragging luggage was not the easiest thing, but it also gave the place character.

Liked: close to two Metro stations. nice comfortable bed, and warm water shower

Disliked: far away (by walk) from Gare du Nord (train station). shower was tiny and water leaked onto the bathroom floor a lot. Also an extra towel is 1 Euro.

Liked: Close to Gare du Nord. Private double bedroom remarkably above hostel quality (bathroom, towels and even a TV included). Free breakfast.

Disliked: "Free wifi" actually only available in the lobby and upon request. Cash not accepted to pay for stay (credit/debit card only). Relatively quiet... except for very creaky doors.

Liked: Located right near Gare du Nord, I was in a 2-bed Ensuite even though I think I booked a larger room, for no extra cost. I met amazing people there every day in the common area who I traveled around with each day. My room had a balcony and its own shower, which was hot every day (bonus). I could use the WiFi from my room, also another perk. I extended my stay by 2 nights because I liked it so much

Disliked: Really, can't complain.

Liked: Its relative distance to Gare du Nord, which made getting around easier. Breakfast and wifi reception were ok.

Disliked: As a female travelling alone, the area didn't strike me as particularly safe, especially at night. The hostel is located at a respectable distance from Gare du Nord. I wouldn't say it was in the heart of the area- it took a 15mins power walk through an alleyway, and not a very pleasant one at that. While the staff was friendly, the property was very old. The toilet was extremely small, you could barely shower in there and the walls were paper thin. I could hear verbatim conversations going on in the next few rooms, which made it very difficult to sleep. Not to mention that the 4person mixed room that I booked turned out to be a mixed two person room with a bunk bed....which would have been nice if only I didn't share it with a 44+ years old man who farted shamelessly and snored loudly during the night. I really wouldn't go back to this place again.

Liked: Staff were very nice and helpful. The hostel and our overall experience were much better than we were expecting based on other reviews

Disliked: The wifi was a pain, having to get a new password every hour or so.

Liked: It was close to the tour lines.

Disliked: The internet service was inadequate. It was a challenge to log on with my own computer, the service was slow, and when I used skype, I kept getting cut off. This is the first place in four weeks that the internet service has been this bad. Travelers depend on the internet. If you don't improve the service, word will get around and people won't stay here.

Liked: good location, clean, good shower, small number of people to a room, not noisy.

Disliked: staff weren't able to offer much information on sites in paris and buying tickets etc.

Liked: Cheap as chips, decent staff, kitchenette available for reheating stuff and making an endless supply of cups of tea.

Disliked: No secure locked / lockable storage in the rooms.

Liked: Breakfast is provided and staffs are helpful. Room is clean. Free wireless provided.

Disliked: We have to stop at the nearest metro which is barbes rochechuart and the people there are dodgy and make you feel insecure. Check in timing was way too long. IT was 4 pm. We reached there at 11 and have too wait in the lobby very long.

Liked: location was good, free internet was great, breakfast wasn't too bad, though an option of muesli would've been nice. Sheets were clean, and front desk seemed to be manned all night. staff were reasonably but not overly friendly, but helpful.

Disliked: bathroom smelt a little mouldy, nothing that better ventilation couldn't fix though, walls could do with some paint, and there were places where the wall had crumbled away, should be easy to fix up.

Liked: Everything is perfect, people are friendly, location near metro station, hostel open 24h, u can leave ur bags even after u checkout, they offer free wifi, even computers for cheap price (3euro per hour)

Disliked: my only concern is security, when I left my bag there is was not tagged, I didn't get anything the proves I left a bag there, when I returned back to get my bag the employee simply allowed me to pick it, I could have took a bag of someone else (not very good huh?) other than that, I think it was a nice place to stay
