Liked: Nice breakfast.

Disliked: Tiny rooms, lack of security. Nobody asked us to show our IDs. To expensive for this of hostel. There is no lockers.

Liked: Excellent location. Clean, with friendly staff. Value for money. Highly recommended.

Liked: Great place, very close to metro stations, close to the Gare du Nord (however you spell it) which is where you catch the Eurostar from France -> London which is extremely convenient if part of your plans. Also close to the Moulin Rouge and my favourite place, Montmatre. Very good place to meet people, lots of super markets and bakeries close by and pretty decent breakfast.

Disliked: I was lost at about 10 at night trying to find the hostel when I first arrived in Paris. When I called the staff, they couldn't give any helpful directions when I was at the metro station, more my fault but some help would have been appreciated.

Liked: Location, Cheaper, Breakfest, we could store our luggage in a room before the chek in and after the chek out, the chek in is late, when we made our payment over the interet we had to pay more because they exchanged from euros to pounds and it should have appeared the final price in euros

Disliked: we had to carry our own linen from the reception to the bedroom, We had to make our own bed, the blankets were not clean, we had to carry our own linen from bedroom to reception.

Liked: Great common area, breakfast included.

Disliked: The location. It would have described the location on HostelBookers.com but when you have never been to a city before it is hard to know where the best areas to stay are.

Liked: Good hostel.

Disliked: No lockers in the room. There were some stupid British drunked guys making trouble and the staff didn't do nothing to stop them.

Liked: There was free wifi if you have a computer and lots of room to sit and mingle. Kitchen was small but good enough. 3 person room, beds were very loud but earplugs do the trick. All in all, decent place. Close to train was a plus and close to metro station.

Disliked: Loud beds and I paid for Internet when I didn't have to but no receptionist told me so. Being a single female traveling alone, location wasnt great to be in at night. Watch yourself and your belongings when walking around.

Liked: The staff is really friendly, It.s clean an very well located, specially for arrivals ta Gare du Nord (you dont need to take a taxi, its 5 bloks away.

Disliked: It doesnt engage people to meet eachother.

Liked: It was located near the main station so convenient for getting around. The rooms were cleaned daily so everything was clean. Free Breakfast was good, but it ended at 9:30am which was annoying if you wanted to sleep.

Disliked: The rooms are VERY small. While there is a common area, it wasnt great for meeting people. The staff were okay. Internet was quite bad.

Liked: The hostel is near the Anvers Metro station (< 5 mins walk) and Paris Nord train station (5-10 mins walk). The Sacre Coeur Basilica is also a walk away from this hostel. The receptionists are nice and approachable. Tourist information (including city map, metro and bus lines) are also available there.

Disliked: The four-person shared room where I checked-in is a bit small.

Disliked: Dorms are pretty small, ensuite bathrooms are ok for a hostel but still not great.. The room I stayed smelled of feet, wasn't very pleasant

Liked: short walk to gare du nord...

Disliked: i wanted an internet password, and the lady in the counter told me she's busy checking someone, even though i waited to ask her the question while the guy was writing the check in form....so i waited for 10 mins after he checked in...no big deal i suppose...probably should spoke to her in french...it just she made me seem like the rude one, i give her the benefit of doubt it was just her accent that sounded she was angry at me...the guy that was at night was very nice clean up the common area...

Liked: Good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Unfortunately the rooms are very small with a bank bed without ladder so you really need to be an acrobat to reach your sleeping place.

Liked: It was located very close to the Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur so was convenient and from the reception area it seemed like a clean and good value for money place to stay. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff were helpful enough when you asked the right questions.

Disliked: The hostel is located down back streets and so didn't feel all that safe walking down them at night as a girl on my own. The hostel had a weird smell about it that I couldn't quite place - a cross between hair spray products and mold!! The rooms were small but ok but as I was the last person in the room, I had a top bunk which I had to navigate onto in the dark (as when I arrived, all other occupants were asleep) and there was no obvious way to get onto the top bunk! I had to use a chair which I was dubious would hold my weight as would wooden and creaked. The bathroom was clean but over the shower was completely moldy that had clearly been there some time. At breakfast you are only allowed one roll or croissant so for me that doesn't eat cereal, it wasn't enough. Overall it was sufficient for one night but would definately not like to stay there longer and wouldn't stay there again! I'd rather pay a bit more and stay at a cheap B&B.

Liked: The staff was quite helpful (not supadupa-hyper-turbo helpful, like the presentation on hostelbookers is attepmting to call forth} The location is really perfect, really just few steps from Gare du Nord, and Gare de l'Est, and Anvers tube station, making it really accessible and a perfect checkpoint for sightseeng tours.

Disliked: If you go for this hostel definitely demand that your room do not have windows directed towards the street, since the noise on the street is just unbelievable! I got waked up like every 30 minutes by some truck or heavy motorbike whizzing along, I barely slept for 2 hours in total.
