Liked: It had everything close by and there was always staff on hand to help you find your way. I have no complaints about this place other than that their WIFI was incredibly slow and you had to go to the common area to go online AND you have to log in each time. But still, I had a good time!

Liked: As a single, middle-aged woman with health problems I wondered how warm a welcome I would receive. Everyone was great and helpful. I had a wonderful stay!!!

Liked: I liked the atmosphere and the friendlyness of the staff very much. The location was perfect. However, in case of fire, we would have died definitely, because we slept on the top floor, with no escape except for the single staircase there was. Second point: we all were cold in the night, even with the heather on (which was centrally set) and no extra blankets were available, not even the next day or the day after.

Liked: I would not recommend that anyone stay at Village Hostel. I have been in many hostels over my three week vacation and this was by fart the dirtiest yet. Also while I was there there were major problems with the pipes and rooms where without water during the day and sewage was backing up into rooms. No comphensation was offered and staff didn't really have an idea of what was happening to explain to guests. The kitchen facilities were minimal and simple meals were unable to be made due to lack of cooking utensils and equipment. The rooms were very dirty and it seemed like blankets on bed were not properly cleaned after each new quest. It was a very unpleasent stay.

Liked: staff is very nice despite that there was a misunderstanding with one of the staff the first night it was all sorted out by the next mornin.. the lady at the breakfast is very sweet n nice n friendly, the only bad were the beds that were kinda uncomfortable,but all the rest were jus fine..very nice n home-y interior.

Liked: This place has a great atmosphere for meeting people. there didn't seem to be any lockers and although many of the rooms had separate keys for different rooms, they were often left open.

Liked: Location was great being up next to the Sacre Ceour and within no time being able to catch 2 metros (1 ticket all the same price no matter where u go to) into the heart of Paris and be there within 20 minutes max.Breakfast was decent, although more power points in the lounge area would be good.

Liked: A great place for anyone who takes the EuroStar to Paris. Female Dorm was really nice. Downside is check-in time is a little late (4pm).

Liked: Clean, close to subway, easy access to many tourist locations. Small cozy feeling that's good for meeting new people. Has the cleanliness and professionalism of a hotel but friendliness and personal feeling like a house.

Liked: The hostel is in a great location for Montmatre and you can easily access the city centre attractions from the metro nearby.The staff were very funny and helpful.Unlike other hostels we actually looked forward to going down for breakfast in the mornings.The only negative point we have is the decor in the bedroom was a little run down.We would definitely stay here again!

Liked: mm.. it's never safe around the hostel in the night.But, it's way better compared to ALOHA HOSTEL.if you say choose one of them, I would definetely go to Village hostel.
