Liked: Was nice. Best I have stayed in Paris so far. But Parisian hostels on the whole are kind of iffy.

Disliked: The bathroom was leaky and nasty. The floor was disgusting because people didn't want to walk on the floor and wore shoes. It was really bad but virtually EVERYTHING else was really nice. They even had an elevator.

Liked: Das Hostel liegt direkt unterhalb von Sacre Coeur, die Räume sind einfach aber sehr sauber, das Frühstück war gut, die Angestellten nett und hilfbereit. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Liked: I liked a very comfortable locatoin and a wonderful terrace with lovely view on the Sakré-Coeur.

Liked: The breakfast was good. Croissants were very delicious. My room was great! But, I did stay in the more expensive 3 person flat rather than the normal cheaper rooms. My room was very very clean, including the shower and toilet. The shower could have been warmer, but thats a mild complaint. The front desk is nice. The location is good in the sense that it is literally 1 minute away from the metro. But , you're not close enough to major sights to really walk there (except for Sacre coure). You have to take the metro to see most of the sights. That being said, the metro is fairly cheap and the monmarte (the region where the hostel is located) is very picturesque. It's also very close to Moulin Rouge.

Disliked: The shower was not hot enough for my liking (but that's a very small complaint). The location is not perfect, because you have to take the metro to get to most sights. (but, its one minute away from the metro)

Liked: Besides the great location near a metro stop and the free breakfast/sheets/blanket (which is sometimes taken for granted), I stayed in a three-person room which was a little more expensive but most definitely worth it. It was separate from the dormitory building with 3 beds, a desk with chairs and it's own bathroom. I originally only booked it because it was the only thing available but it was definitely worth it. Super nice and cleaned every day with wifi, tons of outlets and lots of space to spread out.

Disliked: No lockers in the rooms so valuables had to left at the front desk. Also, there was only two keys to the 3 person room so they made you leave the key at the front desk when you left and then ask for it when you got back. Breakfast also ended at 9:30, which is a tad early for a nightowl like myself. But these are all in all petty complaints.

Liked: Staff very welcoming on arrival. Excellent location for Sacre Coeur and Monmatre atmosphere. !0 mins. walk from Gare du Nord station. Plenty to eat for breakfast.

Disliked: En-suite shower could have been a little cleaner.

Liked: This place was fantastic. The staff was very helpful, down to earth, and fun. They rooms were very clean, basic, yet roomy. The place itself is right by the metro, night life right around the corner, and fantastic markets during the day. I had an absolute blast here.

Disliked: At night, though some of the restaurants and bars around the corner were okay, a few blocks away the area became quite dodgy with sex clubs. This is Paris though, not Philadelphia USA.

Liked: Olivier is absolutely the best Hostel Manager :) You will love this hostel just because of him ! I would love having a mojito with him ! Best fun atmosphere in Paris !This hostel is definitely No 1 in Paris !

Liked: Well located in Montmarte right near the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. Had small rooms with ensuites, so not too many people sharing bathrooms. Breakfast provided was good. Supermarket across the road.

Disliked: The staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. It always took ages to get anything done because you have to leave all of your valuables at reception because there are no lockers in the rooms, and so it is always really busy at reception. They don't have a very good system for leaving your stuff in the safe, they lost my slip of paper I handed them to get my things out, anyone could've found it, seen that I had a laptop and 300 euros in the safe and claimed it was theirs because you had to write on it what was in there. Wifi didn't work.

Liked: The staff were quite nice and hospital.

Disliked: It was only clean in the bathroom. But the room itself was very old with old and not adequate furniture. The beds were uncomfortable, the floors were discosting. The blanket (quit) was very very discosting and quite thin and broken. No hanger in the room for hanging the cloth from. The room was cold. There was not any package of traveller shampoo or soap. There were no disposable sleepers. The kitchen was not clean, it was totaly molded inside fridge and refrigrator.

Liked: It's a small cosy hostel, the staff is very welcoming (Specially the night shift receptionist called Christopher, he's very friendly, professional and overal a great guy).There was an varied and eclectic mix of guest from all over the world, which gives the hostel character as everyone leaves comments and exchange ideas.Showers and toilets are ensuite(which can be an annoyance for some, I actually prefered it) and they are clean(unfortunately the shower room does not have a window and smells a little moldy)

Liked: Everything was great.The night clerk, Alex Wolf I think, was wonderful for me. He helped me for rooms in other hostels when my reservation at another hostel got cancelled. He made phone calls for me and helped me. He also worked something out for me when I needed it and was always happy to help.The hostel itself by nicely located, within walking distance from Gare du Nord (10-15 mins) and felt pretty safe.Nice lounge, and breakfast is good and served early (7:30). Free Wifi is nice too.

Disliked: Small kitchen.

Liked: Extremely safe, very strict about not letting your stuff (passports, laptops, luggage) get stolen by putting it in the safety box behind the front desk

Disliked: no couches, but a lot of good sitting for eating

Liked: I loved this hostel!The good:- great for English folk who don't speak very much French - all the staff are super kind and willing to speak to you in English- the character of the place is charming- literally a 2 min walk from Anvers metro station- the breakfast was delicious! One of the best croissant I've ever had...and the woman serving was so nice!- I met great people...the common area was always full of people chatting (although you get those attached to their laptops as well...)- the rooms were clean, as was the bathroom- there's a great back patio/balcony that's great to have a drink on when it's not too cold!

Disliked: The bad: - the Internet was SO slow. They use the same Wifi connection on the computers they charge for (1 Euro for 15 mins), as they one they give out for free to people with laptops. If you're using the computer at the same time as a couple other people it's near impossible to get pages to load - The bunk I shared was SO squeaky. But still comfy. - Not a lot else was bad!

Liked: I like the look and feel of the place. It offered free breakfast and had an outdoor terrace.

Disliked: The shower was odd, you had to hold the button the whole time.
