Liked: I liked how it had a kitchen and the breakfasts were nice.

Disliked: There was only one bathroom and if you really had to go it was tough. Also many nights we could here people partying until 4 in the morning. There was a homeless man camped right outside our window. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone not because of the hostel but because of the area.

Liked: The hostel was situated right next to the Sacre Coeur on main metro routes so it was easy to visit the mont martre district and was also easy to visit other main sights. The hostel was confortable enough and quite quaint with winding stair cases and a beautiful view of the Sacre Coeur from the window in our room.

Disliked: There were no lockers in our rooms for valuables, but the doors were only accessible with a room card which helped to increase security. The staff were generally helpful and very pleasant with one exception, but generally it was a good experience.

Liked: Excellent, central location with very helpful staff. Beds were comfortable. Fantastic if very simple breakfast included in the price!

Disliked: Bathrooms were not clean (other guests even warned me when I arrived!). A couple who arrived after me had booked a private room and paid good money for it, only to be told there were no sheets left!! All they were given as compensation was free towel hire but I think this is bad planning.

Liked: It was just a great atmosphere and most of the staff were really happy and easy to get along with. I met some great people who I will always remember. Best weekend in Paris ever.

Disliked: Just one or two of the staff members could have been a bit more enthusiastic, but mostly they were okay.

Liked: 24 hour check-in, clean, decent breakfast, ensuite washrooms, rooms are well-heated, great view

Disliked: free wifi is only in lobby, not very social, security isn't great

Liked: To any AUSSIE i say that this place is great. Location is great - subway like 500m from the hostel and buying souvenirs it literally 20m up the road. Its pretty much 100m from the famous basilica! Food is epically cheap when you go off peak (winter but its worth it). Being winter there are not as many tourists and hardly any lines to the main attractions. Staff are friendly as! especially the lady who serves FREE brekky. Overall this place is definitely good value for money as i recommend it for anyone :D ps. wi fi is FREE right on!

Disliked: none at all. Loved it!

Liked: I liked the staff (except for one bearded man that was not very educated). There was a brazilian (Jean) there that was extremelly helpfull. And the locality as well...

Disliked: I didn´t like one of the members of the staff... I think that the rooms should have some locker too...

Liked: I liked that it had a kitchen as some hostels dont. it had air con in each room so i never got cold at night. Good location to get around from. Cool area. free breakfast was good. Free bread all day, really good!

Disliked: No lockers. Really bad water pressure and only luke warm water. After a day outside in the snow you really need a hot shower. Kitchen was tiny. Need more cooking facilities

Liked: Free wifi, good for meeting new people. Great location. Good heating in rooms.

Disliked: showers can get backed up, and you have to press a button every 30 seconds to keep water flowing. Kitchen isn't really a kitchen - it has two stovetops, a microwave and a fridge. No oven or toaster. Breakfast ends way too early, and for some reason the staff wont allow you to use the "kitchen" before 11am even though breakfast is only served til 9.

Liked: Nothing really stands out to comment on, with exception of their excellent customer service.

Disliked: The location. It is close to Sacre Coeur but far from the rest of Paris' sites. Also the wi-fi is only available downstairs in the bar/ reception area and is hard to concentrate when they're pumping the music loud. It might be a better idea to put the router in the dining area that way the computer users can skype/ surf without the distraction.

Liked: I got the new room, so everything new and clean and a bit bigger room I think

Disliked: I have a girl asking if I take her bottle of wine which is I didn't, so it's not about the hostel but more on those bad traveler taking people stuffs in the kidchen area

Liked: Greate location: close to metro, Montmartre and Mulen Rouge. About 3 km to Centre (Cite).

Disliked: It was cold in the room. We had to use conditioner to heat it as central heating system was dead

Liked: The staff were absolutely amazing... everyone was friendly and helpful (there's always one or two oddballs though!). I felt safe and secure.The hostel is located very close to the Anvers metro station which is very helpful to get into town

Disliked: The room was a little small. The Wi-Fi was very good but needed to be available in the rooms Breakfast could have more variety

Liked: Staff we excellent, really friendly and helpful. The location was great for Gare Du Nord as well as the metro, plus good nightlight was only a 5 minute walk away.

Disliked: WiFi not available in the rooms, but this was a very small problem.

Liked: everything it was a wicked place the people wer nice staff were nice pretty good location near the moulin rouge bit out of the city but that didnt bother me because i had a bicycle. they were also acomodating of the fact i had a bike and let me put it on the terrace upstairs. really good place

Liked: Lovely staff, from the really helpful boss to the friendly breakfast server. Well organised and secure. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm, clean and plenty of room for bags, and great view of Sacre Coeur from the terrace. Delicious croissants and fresh coffee. Fast wifi. Great location, really close to Metro and easy to find. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Liked: Everyone was really helpful when I asked for directions and breakfast was delicious! The building was really interesting - my room was on a terrace!

Disliked: For some reason, I kept having trouble opening the door to my room.

Liked: The room was spacious for 4 people, bathroom facilities has hairdryer. Location was really great, near to the big train stations. Breakfast is delicious, almost to 2-3 star hotel standard.

Liked: I liked the staff. They were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast area was really nice. Basic hostel stuff in a charming and nice way.There was even heating that we could turn on in the room when it was a bit chilly.

Disliked: Some of the bunk beds were really squeaky!
