IWe had a good time, but how can you n ot in Paris. I thought that the hostle was a bit expensive for what we got, but other than that it wasnt too bad. Location was great as from the communal terrac you got a good view of one of the main tourist attractions: The Sacre Coeur.

Friendly staff, special thanx to Jorge, Mathieu and Nicola. Nice located facing the Sacre Coeur and liked the terrace whre you can chill out and drink and read something.
Only the room that I stayed close to the terrace is not so good as the ones facing the street, newer and more spacious.
Overall I recommed the hostel:
Cheers

The Hostel is only 10 minutes away from Gare Du Nord so it is very handy for Eurostar. It is near major underground stations so travel to the shopping/sightseeing area is excellent. The people were very friendly

Good location, easy travelling distance from major destinations and just around the corner from Sacre Couer.

The staff were really helpful and nice, felt really comfortable and welcome from the first moments on. Our shared room had a private shower and toilet, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also pretty nice!

Quiet, suitable for families. Montemarte can be a bit scary after dark.

The staff was very helpful. The location made it very easy to get to things because the metro is not hard to navigate. It is right near the Sacre Coeur and not far from the red light district. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of food. We also had warm showers and a bathroom ensuite. Awesome view of the Sacre coeur from the Patio. The main lounge would be a good place to meet people, but we didn't end up being in the hostel for a long period of time because we were running around seeing the city. Overall, we really enjoyed it!

Nice and small hostel located just a block south of Sacre Coeur. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was a bit up north of Central Paris but then there is the Anver Metro station just a block south of the hostel

Location-wise, it was good. Right off the Montmartyre area and the red light district. It made for some interesting walks home at night. Didn't feel unsafe at all though.

I loved the atmosphere here. It's in a great location, Montmartre, really close to the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. Most of the staff was great, but there was one night guy who was worthless, we would ask him a couple questions and he always said, I don't know. But I really liked this hostel, the free breakfast was really good, the coffee was great. I would definitely recommend it. Only thing that I disliked is that they charge about 2 euros for a half hour of internet, luckily there are internet places just across the main street. Also, it's really close to a metro stop, which rocked. I would definitely stay there again, I liked it a lot.

The hostel is very clean, the common area like the kitchen, the room and the ensuit toilet. The atmosphere is fantastic. The living room on groundfloor is bright and cosy. They get big screen playing mtv, movies and sometimes football. Great place to meet friendly people. Staffs helpful and friendly. So far the best hostel I've evey stayed. The location is good too. I could see the sacre-coeur right from my window. Although at night, the area is not very save (in my opinion)

My first ever hostel experience was at Village Hostel and I couldn't have been happier. The location was wonderful - super close to Sacre Coeur, the metro and some really awesome restaurants/bars. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I have nothing negative to say about the hostel itself or my experience there. Go see for yourself! :)
