Liked: clean, good staff , good breakfast. but don't expect that it is 5 stars .

Disliked: small rooms & internet not in the rooms.

Liked: The vibe was very friendly and welcoming and it was so close to the action. I could crawl home. And I may have.

Disliked: Some fruit in the breakfast would have been nice.

Liked: The location was very convenient (located so close to a subway, grocery stores and restaurants). Being a female traveling alone I felt very comfortable and safe. The rooms were really clean and well kept. The common area was good to meet people as well.

Disliked: The staff weren't always incredibly helpful. For the most part they gave me good information but when I asked one of them for a good bar they just waved me over to the map, which wasn't very helpful to me because it doesn't tell me which spots are popular.

Liked: The terrance was nice with a gorgeous view, only wish the weather had been better but that can hardly be the responsibility of the hostel

Disliked: I wish they rooms had been more gender balanced, I know there were other girls staying in the same type of room I did but somehow we both ended up in otherwise male rooms.

Liked: very close to the metro and Sacre Coeur, freindly staff, very helpfull.

Disliked: only one ring to cook on, no grill or oven so not very good for self catering

Liked: Hostel was amazing! very clean and there were good facilities. Roomes were very nice and warm. It was very nice.

Disliked: Prices were maybe a little expensive.

Disliked: Just an unpleasant experience with smelly roommates but nothing against the hostel itself

Liked: The free breakfast was good and filling to start the day. I found the staff friendly and willing to chat. The metro is conveniently located and there is a supermarket with good opening hours opposite the hostel (9am-9pm Mon-Sat). Monmatre is an easy walk from the hostel.

Disliked: The kitchen was limited: one stove and a microwave,no grill or oven. The room did not have a locker (although a safe was available from reception).

Liked: The breakfast (especially the croissant), location and that it was cheap. Also, the shower had lots of heat, it was great after a cold day strolling around in Paris.

Disliked: Nothing, really.

Liked: Atmosphere and place to meet people is very good.

Disliked: Internet is not free. Little far from downtown.

Liked: The showers were hot and staff helpful.

Disliked: Shower only stayed on for short amounts of time so had to be regularly turned back on to have a shower of sufficient length.

Liked: Our room was lovely, the staff were really helpful and the location is pretty much spot on!

Disliked: Hostel doesn't look like much from the outside, but on the inside it's fantastic. No real downside!

Liked: A big carrefour market really near from the hostal; Opened between 9:00 to 23:00. You can keep the luggage in the luggage-room all the day that you check out.

Disliked: the bunk was broken; without stairs or handrail. The neighbourhood was dangeraus at night.

Liked: The employees were very friendly, funny and helpful. They also spoke a wide variety of languages!

Disliked: I wish that the free wi-fi worked in the rooms. I had to use my computer in the communal room and there wasn't always an electrical outlet available for me to plug my laptop in.

Liked: Well located, staff helpful enough.

Disliked: Not extremely clean (but satisfactory), no lockers in the room, breakfast worse than average.

Liked: I liked the spacious rest room next to the kitchen where people could read books, enjoy their homemade dinner, chitchat, go on the internet, whatever. Also, the bathroom and showerroom were kept clean.

Disliked: Nothing much.

Liked: The guys behind the desk were extremely nice and tried their best to be helpful. Location was brilliant there were quite a few nice restuarants and bars nearby and the area it's was nice, albeit expensive but pretty much everywhere in Paris is expensive. The the location was also great because it was close to the metro which made it easy to get around. Rooms were very good for a hotsel, ensuite is always a plus ( though the water pressure wasn't so great it was fine for a couple of days.) Overall it was a great stay. :)

Disliked: It was all good unless you want to nit pick.

Liked: The breakfast serve such a great croissant.

Disliked: There is such a very cloudy place. I do not know yet why they did not take away all used sheet after the maid came to clean. They just rolled it and leaved on the beds, chairs and floor.

Liked: Breakfast was good, as was the small kitchen area. The lounge downstairs was a great place to meet people and the staff were very friendly. The building had a lot of character and was in a great location. I especially liked the view from the roof top terrace!

Disliked: It would have been nice to have a sofa or two, but I guess that would take up too much room!

Liked: The rooms/bathrooms were cleaned every day, and the breakfast was fantastic! Fresh fruit, French pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, hot cocoa...the works. There was plenty of space to hang out in the kitchen area - lots of tables and chairs. And the rooms were a good size, as well. Lovely view on the patio, too.

Disliked: The stairs are a bit narrow and tough to navigate with luggage. Also, I had to go outside to get to my room. It was a bit of a pain, but not bad, really. Especially considering we had a large en suite. :)

Liked: The location of this hostel is perfect, right on the doorstep of the beautiful Sacre Coeur cathedral and the scenic arts scene of Montmarte.

Disliked: The room was tiny and the bathroom smelt awful. It served the purpose for the time we were there, but it wasn't a very pleasant stay
