Liked: great suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area, easy to meet people, very friendly staff, access to kitchen

Liked: The breakfast in the morning is pretty good. Nice terrace overlooking le sacre coeur.

Disliked: The hostel is in a very unsafe location. I was assaulted/punched in the stomach by people walking the street at night. Find a hostel in a safer area.

Liked: Excellent location. Very good value for money. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The shower in our dorm was not working, fortunately we had friends in the adjacent dorm so we used theirs while ours was being fixed.

Liked: Really nice room - exposed beam ceiling and big windows out onto the street. Excellent location - right next to the Sacré Coeur (definitely worth a visit) and Anvers metro station (only one stop away from the Gard du Nord).

Disliked: No towels. Breakfast wasn't amazing, not much to choose from, but better than nothing!

Liked: Awesome people, great atmosphere, rooms and stairwells full of character, had an en suite bathroom, and a view of The Sacre Couer out the back windows. Also, baguettes and croissants for breakfast, while in Paris, can NOT be beat.

Disliked: As a young woman, walking alone in the area was less than ideal, especially at night. Not a problem if you are in a group, and for the most part I did not feel actually unsafe, but wished I had encountered a little less attention/harassment. Again, not a problem, but ladies, walking with friends is better. Also, I wished they had had lockers for our things.

Disliked: toilet was a bit smelly, but it only bothered me because there were two ladies staying in the same room.

Liked: The terrace is great, breakfast is free (it's not much), and the property is locked at night, 24h reception and they store your luggage. they are north of the city center, but super close to the metro stop so easy to access

Disliked: The wifi didn't reach the rooms which was annoying because the lobby at night is about 100 degrees with all the people

Liked: I recommend this place very highly. Nice brekkie, lovely terrace to sit on in the good weather with views of the basilique, friendly and helpful staff. Comfy beds, nice heating.

Disliked: The toilet and bathroom smelled a bit due to lack of ventilation. Might have done with a thicker blanket and one of the bunks didn't have a ladder which made it abit awkward to climb into.

Liked: Great location at the foot of Sacre Coeur Basilica and only 15minute walk from Gare du Nord. Lots of funky cafes in Montmarte to choose from to eat! Close to red light district (Moulen Rouge) for bars with happy hour. Who can afford to drink out otherwise??!! Room is small, safe and all you need for a budget place to sleep.

Disliked: We forgot you had to take your own towels so had to get creative with drying ourselves. Not a dislike, just poor planning on our part.

Disliked: A bit noisy at night - but then again, it is after all a HOSTEL in Montmartre...

Liked: I thought the staff were great. The small room sizes were fantastic for a single traveler with early nights and mornings. Quiet and clean.

Disliked: My stay was enjoyable.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff. Was with two other girls and felt super safe taking the short walk from the metro to the hostel late at night.

Disliked: We stayed in a 3-person ensuite and our room happened to be right next to the street which was kind of noisy. Not noisy from people, just street noise. No complaints about the hostel itself.

Liked: I loved its location in the Montemartre district. The atmosphere was fun and friendly, and I really liked one member of the staff, the other one wasn't that helpful. The bathrooms were spotless and the terrace was cool, but it was too cold for anyone to be hanging out there.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: I was a little worried that there were no lockers in the rooms but the luggage room was locked and there was no way someone could pick up the wrong luggage. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The location is really close to Sacre Ceour, which was nice, but it's not in the best part of town.

Liked: i liked the kitchen area. granted it only has 2 burners but no one really used it at the same time so it worked out. pretty good hostel. the location is really close to the metro too.

Disliked: it costs 1 euro for 15 minutes of internet. but wifi is free so if you want, bring your laptop.

Liked: Very accessible. Located right next to a metro stop. The joint is clean, provides a nice breakfast (providing a great place to meet people and make new friends). The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. Staff was friendly, helpful (Alfred will me missed!). There was a luggage room and a great system of checking in valuable items at the front desk. Hot showers too.

Disliked: The person who had the audacity to untie our bag of bread and cheese in the fridge and steal our brie, then to proceed and retie the bag, but this has nothing to do with the hostel itself.

Liked: so friendly and good location, near metro. very good everything!

Disliked: the boy working at night was really disgusting, the one with mostage .. i dont know why he works there! The last night he made a meeting in the hostel!!! always with bad humor and never giving solutions. Other bad thing is the kitchen.. is little but the real problem is the have only one place to cook..

Disliked: No lockers, no couches, annoying music always playing downstairs.

Liked: Most of the staff was really great! The common area is great, not much big, so it's easy to meet people.

Disliked: the computers to use internet were not very fast, but if you have you own computer to use the free wifi there is no problem!
