Liked: Booked a 4 bed and ended up having our own access door around the side which was cool. Location was great seeing as tho there aren't many close hostels in Paris. Met heaps of nice people. Recommend this place highly.

Liked: We used the Village as the main base on our European holiday - starting it with a 7 days stay here and finishing it with two days. It was a great place and we were very happy. I didn't like the timed taps that you have to keep pressing during a shower. When you head to the Sacre Couer, be wary of guys trying to tie bands around your wrist. Politely tell them you're not interested. It's a scam.

Liked: All I expect from a hostel is clean sheets, a warm room and hot water. This hostel met all these requirements plus a helpful and polite staff, safe deposit box, 24 hour entry/access, a decent kitchen and a decent breakfast. It's in a funky old building and the toilet smelled like a urinal, but this is, after all, a medieval Paris neighborhood, so seeing as it was reasonably clean, I didn't let that bother me. For people who expect a hostel, not a hotel, I recommend it highly.

Liked: I loved my stay here! The rooms were clean and in great condition and we even had a beautiful view of Sacre-Couer. It's right near a metro station and near a grocery store and lots of shops. Most of the staff were incredibly friendly. The free breakfast was simple but good. There were lots of young people from all over, so it's a great way to meet people, but it was never too loud so if you wanted to rest you could. They allowed me to keep my bag there all day on the days I checked in and out without a problem. Overall, I would reccommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Paris.

Liked: Bathroom is a disaster, smells like mould and you have to press a button continuously for the shower to work. There is also no longue area so you have to hangout in the dining room to use the wifi. Free breakfast is great! overall it's pretty good for paris!

Liked: GREAT Location. Good staff. Right bext to Sacre-Coeur and the metro. The place was ok. Worth the price. Good breakfast, not so good kichen. Will stay there again.

Liked: We really liked the location by the Sacre Coeur. The rooms were nice with adequate space and their own bathroom (with push button showers). My first shower was just short of icy cold so time your shower for a less popular time of the day. The hostel has an elevator big enough for one person with baggage or 2 without. The kitchen was pretty bare bones but was ok for boiling water for pasta.

Liked: Only good thing that hostel has is location. All the other things are bad. Broken beds, warm water is over in the middle of the bath, Cold rooms with bad heaters, this place gave us a very bad experience. I never want to go there if I visit Paris again.

Liked: Located in a great place, can come in and go anytime, no curfew. Check in was only after 3pm, I arrived in the morning at 7. But I could drop my bags and have the free breakfast. I went out to explore and returned only at around 11pm and had no problem checking in. Was a great stay!

Liked: The rooms were nice and clean. The location is ok. Very close to the subway but the streets in between are far too busy which is quite annoying when you're carrying loads of baggage.

Liked: Not a great hostel! Close to the moulin rouge but that's really the only plus side to this place. Kitchen was very very basic and not very clean. They have a small camping hotplate, no knives or chopping boards. Not somewhere we would return to or recommend to friends!
