Liked: Great location. Friendly. Good vibe.

Disliked: Breakfast was only a croissont. It was good but needed some fruit or something to accompany it.

Liked: Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Easy to chat with other guests.

Disliked: I took a 10 bed dorm on the top floor. It was a hot night and the windows were open so noise from a bar across the narrow road kept me up til about 3am.

Liked: it's location - in the center of the city. Staff was quite friendly.

Disliked: everything else: 1)when we checked in, there was bread and old garbage under the bed that was not taken care of even on request 2)bed was falling apart 3)"cardboard walls" - you can hear people next room talking as if they are in yours

Liked: Free breakfast - croissant and a piece of baguette, as well as unlimited coffee (and cream!). The hostel staff was very friendly and helpful and could speak English, French and Spanish and possibly more. They have cheap beer and wine behind the front desk you can buy before going out. The atmosphere was great and the common areas were always busy. Beds were reasonably comfortable with linens and blanket included. Towels were cheap to rent at only 1 Euro. Free storage! Hair dryers in bathroom

Disliked: You have to pay for wifi even when you have your own computer, the stairs to get up to your room are windy and thin - Not fun after a couple beers! (No elevator - so if you packed a suitcase you'll want to keep it in the storage room downstairs and just take what you need for the night - it is after all a backpackers). I didn't like that the storage room was overly accessible - the front desk staff would give you the key and you could grab whatever you wanted. They had a system in place where you got a sticker put on your backpack with a number and you were given a slip to come back and get it. It seemed like they didn't use the system at all and anyone could go in the storage room at anytime. It's hidden in the back as well making it easy if someone wanted to steal something. I would prefer if they had actually used this system and allowed no one to go back there except for the staff and that you would have to present your bag slip before taking a bag.

Liked: The location was perfect. It is a good hostel for young people. The breakfast was included and it was very good.

Disliked: The bathroom was not very clean and there were only two showers for everyone staying in share rooms. Also they charge for internet and wi fi

Liked: The location was great. Walkable to Notre Dame and the Jewish Quarter, and the street it is on is very bustling and Parisian. Really safe neighborhood with cheap delicious places to eat.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the rooms, and few bathrooms for all the people staying there. Also, there is a 5 euro deposit for sheets, and I was not offered sheets or told about this when I checked in. When I got to my bed, I was so tired, I didn't bother to get the sheets. Loud if you are facing the street, bring earplugs.

Liked: Convenient place and cheap price

Disliked: Like some other travellers said, this is not a youth hostel, some old people and very sick people stay there too. I stayed four nights and had four different roomates. Two of them are abosolutely horrible. The other two nice and fun.

Liked: GREAT staff - super friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to Seine. Breakfast included.

Disliked: Being picky here, but: noise from stairs and landings, could do with more toilets and showers, people with large amounts of luggage struggled with the stairs (but who brings a massive suitcase to a hostel??)

Liked: good location and the bar its open 24 hours, so as I was with friends that I hadnt meet for long time, it was ok to stay there talking to them

Liked: The other travellers staying there were extremely friendly and the location was really good. It was near loads of shops and restaurants and only a 25 minute walk to Notre Dame. The door to the hostile is open all night so you dont need to worry about getting there at a certain time.

Disliked: Honestly the overall value for your money was not there. It was extremely overpriced for what you got. There is not a bathroom on each floor but rather a unisex one on the 2nd floor.The bathrooms were very unclean and the entire building looked worn. Some of the staff was friendly but some were extremely rude and not helpful at all. The breakfast consisted of a croissant and a bun... Besides the great location and the friendly travellers, I would not recommend this hostile to anyone.

Liked: Location was very good for reaching local and central attractions by metro. Friendly staff who were multi-lingual. shower was set at a good temperature. 24 hour manning of reception.

Disliked: There was very little space in the toilet in our room, hard to close the door for anyone over 5ft9". Initially given back less deposit for our bedding and key cards.

Liked: location was decent, but with the metro it is easy to get around Paris so .. the guy was friendly enough.

Disliked: Breakfast was only for 45 mins, no lockers, filthy
