it was an excellent place to meet people and party, the bar downstairs is open till 2 and everyone is really friendly. the staff all speak english and there's no curfew! they don't mind if you come knocking at any time of the morning. The walking tour is really good too, and cheap.

The staff was very helpful. There is a fun bar where everyone meets to hang out before going out. There is also a nice size kitchen for cooking meals when you prefer to dine in.

my friends and i had an awesome time at the peace and love- upon arriving we were greeted by a group of kids staying there and karen who insisted we join them on her walking tour of montmartre- a totally friendly and inclusive atmosphere to come into. having the bar right there is convenient and fun. the rooms are reasonably comfortable, there's hot water in the showers, the doors lock and there is a kitchen available for your use- it's really everything we could have asked for. we'll go back the nex time we have a chance, for sure.

The bar downstairs made it so much easier to meet new people, and the walking tour was awesome! There's no way we could have learnt all that stuff just wandering around the streets of Paris ourselves. Highly recommended!!

What can i say... P&L staff was great! First of all i want to renew my greetings to Kate who magically played her flute first night we staied in the hostel.. then how to forget Naibe (hope i typed your names correctly girls!) and her "unconventional" idea of italian guys... :P
Then i wWant to send a big Kiss to Kate, Alicia, Wilma, Ashley, Rebecca and so many others, had great night with you ppl, hope to see you again in the future! In the end: great place, nice and clean, good people, cheap, 1 min to metro station... reccomended if you want a friendly place to stay. Cheers! Rino from Italy.

I loved that it had a kitchen...this is always a bonus. the staff were rally nice and friendly and the bar on the 1st floor was a great plcae to drink happy hour beers and hang out with people...although a little smokey
