Liked: The staff were very nice

Disliked: The one key per room policy, there were no lockers in the rooms and the shower screen door opened into the room.

Liked: Close to public transport. The staff were friendly and accommodating and stored our luggage until our room was available. Our room offered towels and linen, make sure you grab an extra towel for a bath mat as it can get wet in the room. Room was painted purple so of course it was going to be a fun stay. Didn't spend much time at the accommodation so the small size of the room didn't matter much. Had a fantastic stay.

Disliked: Not so much disliked as was an interesting experience going to the loo which was located on the landing between flights of stairs. Small rooms but when in Paris you should be out and about anyway. A shame the venue limits itself to under 35's.

Liked: Really lovely people behind reception. Good coffee.

Disliked: It was very expensive considering that the 'ensuite bathroom' turned out to be a shower in the room itself with no toilet.

Liked: the bar area downstairs was a good place to meet people.The kitchen was great :)

Disliked: there was no common room as the bar area turns quite loud as of around 7ish every night. There was 86 steps in a tiny staircase to get to our room. hard to climb up with backpacks.

Liked: This place was easy to get to and I was able to meet lots of people because of the main floor bar which is also the reception. I also liked the free wifi however it only works until 6pm.

Disliked: The cut off for the free wifi, the 14 bed dorms are so unbelievably small you have no where to put your stuff, there is only one key for each room so not very secure and safe.

Liked: The location was quite good--a bit of a dodgy area at night, but very close to the metro and lots of amenities. My room was small, but well equipped: three beds and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Thankfully, I was on the 3rd floor, which was a manageable climb. Other people I met in the hostel got put on the 8th floor which was quite a difficult trek up a narrow staircase, especially with a heavy backpack.

Disliked: This was the first stop on my trip and I left with bed bug bites!

Liked: It's a very nice atmosphere, with a cool bar downstairs, great way to meet people.

Disliked: No elevators, so if you don't like climbing stairs you'd better request a room in one of the lowest floors. Also, there are no curtains in the suite's bathroom; it can be a bit unpleasant to take a dump while Paris is watching.

Liked: Closer to a metro station (Jaurès) which is like 10min away from Gare du Nord by underground. It was a bar in the building with a good atmosphere if you don't fancy going out to the parisien night, stay there and it will save you a few euros!

Disliked: The staff doens't speak English fairly well but considering we are in France, what can we expect? No one is bother to make an effort to understand the most widely spoken language across the world. The cleanliness of the dorm where I stayed in was acceptable. I've seen better though. It lacks sockets. If you want to charge any mobile.. your camera.. i recommend you to do it somewhere else. There was a massive cable on the floor crossing the dorm something I just saw there. The exactly synonimous of safety, isn't it? Forget about privacy when having a shower. It must be a parisien concept. I just didn't get it though. If you will stay in dorm R like I did, you better not have any problems to show yourself to the rest of the street. There's no showercortine... no nothing. Well, at least the vapour of the hot water does the trick of hiding yourself. And a last thing I need to point out, it is a really noisy area. The place itself is already noisy considering it has a bar opened till 2am. but the location of the hostel it is even more noisy! Bear in mind, this place is in the outskirts of the centre of Paris.

Liked: The staff absolutely make this hostel a wonderful place to stay! The very small rooms make you hang out in the bar with other hostel guests. I stayed on the top floor which was quite a workout, but peeking my head out the window I could get a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower.

Disliked: Shower was tiny and hard to move at all

Liked: The manager was super helpful! Ask him if you ever need anything! He likes to get to know you and everyone staying and he made it a fun atmosphere. The lobby is a bar, which was pretty cool, and they gave out free drinks on my friend's birthday!

Disliked: There was only one key for the room, (3 bed) so since we were sharing it was hard to coordinate how to keep it unlocked/locked. And, bed bugs...bring your own sheets?

Liked: Property was located opposite a metro station. Canal was across the road.

Disliked: One out of the three staff members on the front desk seemed inpatient and unwelcoming , though the other two staff members were friendly. There was only one key per room so which was a hassle as the last person in the room had to leave it at the front desk. The rooms were very cramped and the bunk beds were stacked so high that you were almost touching the ceiling. It appeared that every available bit of space was used to house a bed in some cases guests were expected to step over occupied beds in order to access the bathrooms. The rooms did not have lockers although valuables could be stored in the safe at the front desk.

Liked: Had a fun bar to meet people at but also meant you couldnt have outside alchol.

Disliked: the stiarcase was hellish.

Liked: the staff were lovely and friendly. although the bar was smaller than i expected it had a lovely atmosphere and we met loads of great people.

Disliked: the kitchen was far to hot to cook in, which wasnt a major issue for us as we were out for most meals

Liked: very helpfull staff, nice and friendly everything we needed! :)

Disliked: The bed didnt get changed on one of the days and it was difficult to get the staff to change it as it was late in the evening when we arrived back at the hostel and the cleaners had gone home. Also, we stayed for 3 nights and had to change rooms twice, this was fine just a bit of a pain.
