Disliked: everything.when i reached there,my bed wasnt even clean.i just took clean sheet from then and made my own bed!!!

Liked: many places in Paris are quite expensive, so i was a little apprehensive to see their price. the property was small but very nice. the staff was fun and very helpful, all spoke excellent english. loved the private rooms.

Disliked: there are some rooms with 3 people to a room. i had to choose coed because i was traveling with my fiancée. the showers are right in the middle of the room and offer no privacy. it was a little weird for him because our roommate was a girl.

Liked: the location is convenient in relation to the international station Gard du Nord, and also easy to get to tourist attractions. fridge is cleaned out every week. the hostel is very, very clean. all the staff and most of the travellers are friendly and easy to talk to. happy hour lasts for 4 hours. tv with clear sports channel. nice seating area. internet access.

Disliked: 1 towel for the whole day in the kitchen.

Liked: atmosphere

Disliked: no lift...location to metro was great, but not an area close to anything of importance...strange key system that wasn't too safe, but didn't have problems with it during my stay

Liked: Super friendly staff. Kitchen is fully stocked. close to metro and supermarket. Rooms are a little crowded but fine. Bathroom in room. bar in hostel with a bouncer.

Disliked: My room was on the 1st floor, but I can imagine in it would have been an inconvenience to walk up many flights of stairs to the others. No security lockers in rooms, although there is a free lock box behind the bar.

Liked: Good location, near a metro with 3 lines, cheaper than some other Paris hostels,

Disliked: They charged me 8 euros more for my first night because they didn't have space in the 14 bed room which I wanted to be in anyway, so it was their fault, the guy at the bar's a tad sleazy, not much atmosphere, wish I'd gone to St. Christopher's as Peace and Love didn't end up much cheaper!

Liked: the bar in 1st floor is cool to meet people, the girl attending in the afternoon is so helpful, friendly and nice person.

Disliked: kinda dirty in the lobby, the guy at night have a bad attitude, they do not give you any ticket for the luggage kept into the bar, not even tried to use the shower, no courtain, and the space between 3rd bed and ceiling is too small

Liked: The zone is far from tourist locations, but is FULL of restaurants, kebabs and groceries which have good quality food, and REASONABLE prices for it (area of place Stalingrad).

Disliked: No lift, and everything is tiny. But overall, the big problem was that the shower wasn't in any bathroom, but in the room itself, which I don't think it's a good idea in mixed rooms.

Liked: The bartender was super nice. He even gave away free drinks and offered lots of good advice to anyone who asked. He carried my bag up 7 flights of stairs too.

Disliked: The seven flights of stairs to get to my room was the only downside to this place.

Disliked: Room was onto the street so was a bit noisy during the night, but if you drink enough and pass out thats not a problem!

Liked: This was the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff is a blast and the bar is the perfect place to meet other travelers and to just hang out

Disliked: The biggest complaint would be the staircase, but it's paris, that's to be expected anywhere

Liked: Nothing. Other than the lady on the front desk who was nice.

Disliked: This is the worst hostel experience I have ever had. They advertise as having parking, however they fail to mention that it is 25 Euro. They state that if it is required you should contact them. We emailed them over a week in advance and received no reply then were told on arrival that there was the extortionate parking charge by which stage it was too late to change our booking. When I expressed my dissatisfaction the lady at the desk (who was helpful I must add) informed the owner and the outcome was that the price as of that day increased 5 Euros from 20 to 25 so they would only charge us 15 for the parking so in total for screwing us around they gave us 5 Euros off. In addition, the rooms are tiny with no lockers and the location is pretty average. The owner clearly has no interest in upholding a good reputation.

Liked: The staff was amazing and our room was small but suberb; we had our own shower and the color theme was just great creating a cozy athmosphere. The building was cute and location was excellent; metro was near and all the necessary services.

Disliked: Stairs were old and you could hear when someone walked there, but luckily we were tired enough not to be too disturbed by that.

Liked: Very good atmosphere, good kitchen, great bar... A perfect place to meet people and have a good time!

Liked: Decent location, friendly and helpfull barstaff, awesome kitchen for cooking. Well priced downstairs bar, and the 2 guys there were extreemly helpfull and friendly.

Disliked: Only 1 key per room with no lockers inside the room. So if your in a multi person dorm, any 1 of the people could have the key. They are supposed to leave it at reception if they go out but this doesn't always happen.

Liked: Mainly male staff, they were friendly and helpful. Bar in the social area to do as you wish in - meet other people and eat your own food. It was very good value for money in Paris, close to a few metro stations. internet was free in the day time. staff can put your electronics / valuables in the safe

Disliked: As I kept adding on more days I had to keep moving - i guess my 'fault' so not a real complaint but one room had a shower STRAIGHT into the room, try working out how you get in / out and changed in a mixed sex room - not easy. Bunkbeds - with 3 people so difficult to get in / out of the 2nd bunk. no curtains in bathrooms so privacy to outside is lacking although people on the street may not be that bothered about seeing your nakedness on the toilet / in the shower - you may feel abit exposed!

Liked: 24hr reception and a friendly staff. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, stove top, microwave, and lots of cooking utensils.

Disliked: There were hundreds of ants in a very small, packed room.There was a lock-out while the room was being cleaned. Very noisy neighbourhood. When the bar was busy, it was difficult to get to the hostel rooms and there was no dining area for guests.
