Martin MartinezI didnt like this hostel at all, i dont recomend you to go here, i pay a lot and this place is really far from the center and the debs are really inconfortable, you are almost at the street, so is really noisy, is almost like a bar with beds upstairs |

Customer reviewThe large (majority) number of English speaking people, which I have discovered is rather uncommon in French hostels. |

Customer reviewThe bar at the botton is relativelly lively, although pricier than average. Hostel is missing a common space to relax and put your feet and the rooms are too small for that. At times the constant music volume gets to you. Wifi is free if you have your own equipment, but it works only in the bar downstairs. |

Customer reviewamazing hostel! if you are looking to have a good time, you will love this place... a great place to meet people and party.. jenga is awesome.. the neighborhood is a little dodgy, but you are right by a metro, so it is super easy to get around. i was very skeptical to stay in this hostel after reading other reviews, and only booked 2 nights. i ended up staying a week because i was having such a great time with all the amazing people there. karen and milan definitely made my stay one of a kind. check out karens tour, its good fun. |

Customer reviewI would highly recommend the Peace and Love Hostel to anyone traveling through Paris. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The bar is fun and a good place to meet fellow travelers. Also, the walking tour is well worth the price of admission. |

Gabrielle BrownThe stairs are definately something that needs to be made more aware to the public. Thay are tiny, steep, and winding. The rooms are clean but if you are travelng by yourself, like I was, and get roomed with two men then privacy is very unlikely. In most rooms the shower is located in the wall. Other than accomodation worries the place and stay was amazing. The staff was more than accomodating and very very fun and friendly. However, if you stay there be prepared to learn the metro and how it works because it is about 30 mins. away from the main tourist sites/ |

Alexandra RyderDidn't like this hostel at all. Would NOT recommend it. When I arrived the person at reception was quite rude because I didnt have enough cash on me and told me to go away and get money before I even had time to ask where the nearest cash point was. Booked into an 8 bed room, which was very small. My friend had to spent the 1st night on a thin , uncomfortable mattress on the floor because room was fully occupied even though we had made a reservation weeks before. Bar area was ok, but being in the room above the bar, trying to sleep with the rap/hip-hop/ R 'n' B music going loudly til 2am was quite hard. Also is an ambulance/ fire station very close by, so when I had fallen asleep I was woken up a few times a night by sirens. Kitchen seems fine. I don't think the hostel is worth the price, would expect to be much cheaper compared to other much nicer hostels I stayed in on my travels that were quite a bit cheaper. |

PATRICK STOBAUSI´m fairly sure that there must be some dubious manipulation of ratings going on, because this place should not be rated highly at all. Turned up at the hostel an immediatley regretted booking there, it couldn´t have been a seedier looking place, the reception is a very dark bar, and the guy who runs it was sitting out the front, he looked like a South American drug cartel boss. Anyway it turns out that I didn´t have to stay here, because they were obviously overbooked and made some excuse about some minor problem with my reservation. After arguing with them they said they may be able to get me in to a ´´guesthouse´´. It turns out that guesthouse was really a mattress on some woman´s floor. In the end I was happier to stay at the lwoman´s flat than in that seedy dive of a hostel. The woman was actually very nice, but it was just a bed on the floor in a cramped room with 3 others and was certainly not worth the 30 Euros. I found somewhere else for the rest of my stay in Paris. I really felt sorry for an american couple that i shared the floor with, they had just flown in to Paris and also thought that they had a booking at the hostel, but were sent to the ´´guesthouse´´ as well. What a romantic first night in Paris for them. Avoid in dissapointment or stress and just don´t stay at this place. |

Customer reviewIt was convenient to the train station and overlooked a canal. But it did not match up at all to a description I read that it had a hippie vibe. |

Sean FarmerThe place was great in every respect. The only problem i had was that the room was small for the amount of people that stayed in it. This is probably par for the course in paris however. |

Customer reviewIt was conveniently located, but pretty loud at night. We were on the 6th floor, so we couldn't hear the bar, but the ambulances have an exit right near the hostel, which was really loud - especially since you have to have the window open to get any air. Cheapest bed we could find in Paris... |

Nachiketa MehtaThey had a luggage room, but unfortunately it wasn't locked. They also had a kitchen with a decent sized fridge. Free Wi-Fi was definitely a bonus, but thats as far as this hostel goes. No AC, the staff was kind of rude, and they have this pushy walking tour guide that turned snappy when I turned down her offer. She proceeded to insult me, in french, to the staff, who chuckled along, in front of my face. To get to our room, we had to walk through someone elses room and there were matress on the floor, luckily we showed up early enough so we didn't have to take that one. |
