Liked: -Near from the metro (Louis Blanc and Jaures) and Gare du Nord. - Fully equipped kitchen and useful fridge. -I liked my staying, but I do consider it should be cheaper.

Disliked: I think it´s quite expensive acording to my own experience: - No lift ( I stayed on the 7th floor). - The shower was sooo small ( I barely could enter on it) - Rooms are very hot. - The street is very noisy at night ( the metro passes over a bridge next to the hostel ) - No common area lounge, but the pub itself.

Liked: The staff here are so wonderful, they helped me out, didn't mind at all when I needed to book extra nights, gave me a couple of free drinks here and there. They were just so welcoming and friendly. The bar downstairs also brings a lot of people so its a great palce to meet people.

Disliked: The rooms are TINY. you had to kind of crab walk to get into the bathroom. They also found it okay to paint at about 4pm in the afternoon in the room so when we went to bed the room still smelt of it. Also, another lady in the same room as I was not informed that the walls in the stairwell were wet; so when she leaned against them she was covered in paint. I doubt this would happen again though because I doubt they will paint again soon

Liked: It really wasn't very great at all. In a very "sketchy" part of the city, on a very noisy street, bed bugs, cramped small room... Not much to like about it.

Disliked: BED BUGS! Nothing is worth paying for if you get bed bugs!

Liked: Close to the larger stations which made it pretty convenient.

Disliked: There's only one key for each room and the receptionist/bar tender doesn't ask for ID when you ask them for a key or to get something from the safe which isn't great. There are no individual lockers either. It becomes a bar at night where anyone can come in, its a bit seedy with a lot of older people sitting downstairs. A lot of stairs if you're on the top floor, no lifts.

Liked: really friendly and helpful reception staff, especially bulgarian guy who checked me in :) no curfew, no lock-out, i could feel free with my plans and come back whenever i wanted which is important for me during my travels, shower in the room, really small but still its a shower, cleaned room with fresh and washed bedding, quite good location, good music at the bar :)

Disliked: too small kitchen, lack of some common place, lounge, where people can meet eachother, drink, eat the meals and enjoy their time, the lack of basic products in the kitchen, like kettle with the hot wather, salt, coffee, i had to buy everything for myself staying just 2 nights, impossibility of bringing your own alkohol to the property

Liked: Very nice staff. Convenienty located near the Metro and the Gare de l'est and Gare du Nord

Disliked: 14 people sharing a single bathroom and shower. No curefew means people can come in and interrupt your sleep anytime. Bar right underneath the hostel which stays very noisy until the wee hours.

Liked: This is a Hostel true to form. Its location is 10 minute walk away from the main train station & 15 minute walk from the Galleria Mall. There's a metro stop literally right outside the front door. The staff there are the most amazing staff!!! Their young, they are not stuck up, they'll answer any questions you'd have & have a drink with you at the end of the day. Miloosh & The Aussie are so amazing. I would definitely recommend this Hostel to all young travelers, there is a bar at the bottom of the Hostel thats always busy & the people that stay are awesome. The stairs are a little steep but no one over the age of 30 is allowed, so if your under 30 and can't walk the stairs, you got bigger issues.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: the room was painted a nice purple. that is all.

Disliked: checked in over a little bar with everyone eyeing the amount of cash you have to hand over. pretty sure the woman who checked us in was drunk at the time. were pointed in the direction of the wrong door and no real explanation- ended up in the kitchen. eventually worked out where our room was up a v long and v narrow staircase. room was v. small. it did have a shower and basin in- but be careful if ur showering as the water leaks through onto the floor of the room and is v. slippy. sheets seemed cleanish but had cigarette burns on. the neon lights from outside shined through the curtains and it was noisy all of the time. people showering at like 3am. would not recommend!

Liked: Location is good

Disliked: the way to go to room is difficult for a single person to walk on and when there are luggage some one has to cross the stairs till sixth floor what will be his condition. The rooms and toilet size smaller than any hostel I have seen in my life.

Liked: It had a great atmosphere in the bar downstairs and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Disliked: It was a little expensive but a good location.

Liked: nothing

Disliked: everything is dirty... the blanket was gross, not sure if the sheet was changed before... very untidy... shower was too small .. the reservation was the bar...every guest had to give up a key every time he/she wants to go out... but they just hang the key in the bar so people could easily pretend they own the room...

Liked: notthing

Disliked: first of all when you go in you cant understand if it s bar or hostel. All check in prosedure going on bar table. When i arrived there, i had to wait 20 minutes for check in because staff was counting money of the bar. Guy with blue eye is very unfriendly. He is the image of french stero types. I stayed in shared room and it was very very small. Beds are three-decker if you sleep at top you can touch to roof with your head when you staying on you bed. There s no commen area for travelers. There s bar but everbody can come there not just for travelers.

Liked: It's cheap, and the staff speaks French AND English, which helps the communication

Disliked: The bar - it should be closed for people who do not live in the hostel. There were a lot of people that did not belong to the hostel who seemed to have a pretty creepy agenda, like married men trying to invite me and my friend to their appartment in the middle of the night.

Liked: ROB! The Barman. If you want to party. Go to him. Simple. The majority of the staff were extremely friendly, despite a nasty character on our first appearance. But the overall atmosphere was brilliant - it really is a party hostel though so expect busy nights! The rooms are cleaned daily so appear very very clean, which was brilliant, although I have come home covered in bites which I can only assume are from bed bugs.... Overall it's a brilliant place if you want somewhere to kip, somewhere to drink and to get a great sense of the city! Only minutes from the metro - which is a great and easy way to get around.

Disliked: It claims to be 24 hour - we tried to check in in the early hours of the morning and were not allowed. We also saw someone who was late for their check-in time due to flight alterations (out of their control) and they were turned away (having paid for the night in advance, and were not refunded). One member of staff was very very rude and unkind even considering we were 2 20 year old girls arriving in Paris for the first time, at about 2am. Other than that, everything was great!!

Liked: Close to the metro. In a nice neighborhood.

Disliked: The staff members were not very attentive. After going through the process of checking in, I wanted to pay for internet. As I told the woman at the bar (there is no reception desk, it's solely a bar) that I wanted internet, she picked up the phone and was on a long call. When she hung up again she proceeded to speak with a staff member for quite some time before returning her attention to me. Bad customer service. Also, there are one million stairs. Good luck if you have a heavy bag getting your things to your rooms.

Liked: It was a comfortable hostel that was close to a metro. The staff was great and beyond friendly and it had a bar downstairs that was a great place to meet other travelers.

Disliked: My reservation was cancelled because I wasn't able to make it there at the time that I had put during booking but the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a place to sleep.

Liked: Offers a kitchen to use, has an ice machine.

Disliked: Bar is very loud and keeps you up. Hostel is located near either police station or a fire station and sirens will keep you up all night long.

Liked: This place was amazing! I travelled with my best friends - and we loved it!! From the moment we walked in it was nothing but fun fun fun! Bar is fantastic, the room we stayed in was full of great people! Could not speak highly enough about the staff - super friendly and helped us out whenever we needed it! If you are a fun person that likes to party - YOU MUST STAY AT PEACE AND LOVE!

Disliked: NOTHING!

Liked: the Staff was very friendly and also all the other people staying at this hostel. they answered every question we had. the bed was very comfortable. if you just wanna sleep there it's okay

Disliked: the rooms were VERY small. they didn't told us, we got another roommate to share our room with (was a 3bed room and we were 2). the shower in the bathroom was full with mould. that was absolutely disgusting
