 It was basic but clean. It's not for those who want to meet people and party. It is however within walking distance to the metro and therefore has access to the whole of paris. The restaurants in the area are more reasonable than in the very centre of paris but did close a lot earlier.

i really liked this hostel, because the prices are really good, they are not that far from a hostel that gives u shared rooms, so its worth it to pay the diference, because u get ur own room, with ur own bathroom and shower, pretty calmed and excellent i really liked this hostel.

I pretty much liked everything about this hostel and would have nothing but good things to say if it weren't for the poor wireless Internet. It is in a nice neighborhood, close to a McDonalds and Shoppi (grocery store). Right by the Shoppi is a very cool indoor market that I didn't discover til the last day, unfortunately. Sandwiches at Alladin's are good. Again, I would *strongly* recommend this hostel if it weren't for lousy Internet. If you don't care about Internet, you should consider staying here.

the staff was very friendly and helpful.
the hotel is very nice. but a little far from the centre. however, you have the metro near. and the neighbourhood is nice. so, it's not a big issue.

We two female booked for 6 nights and it worth your money. The neighbor is quite and easy access by the Metro (subway) to the major tourist spots. We got a nice big room. Stay away from the dark skin guy that work in the front desk because he isn't helpful. We got a nice big room and a great view so remember to book for room 56A.

This hostel is definately a hotel so if you are coming here to meet people or have the atmosphere of a hostel, that probably won't happen. Its pretty close to the metro which gives you access to the city and the major sites. There are a lot of good restaurants around the hostel (I recommend Sushi Planet. It has amazing sushi). There is also a large grocery store less than a 5 minute walk away that has everything you would need. Our room was very clean. We had our own bathroom. The bed was very, very comfortable. There was free Wifi. There was also a maid that cleaned our room everyday. All in all, I thought it was an excellent place to stay.

This hostel is actually a cheap hotel. For the price you get a nice private room with shower and toliet and a tv. The staff at the front desk had a good handle on the english language. Hostel is to the North East of the Arc de Triumph (Approx 3 Km walk). About a 10 minute walk from subway access. It's not close to anything but then again nothing is in paris anyway.

Free WIFI internet access in the room was a huge bonus! Although the room is tiny (and the bathroom is within the room itself) all the furniture was new and tidy.

The hotel was located in a quiet and pleasant area with shops and restaurants nearby. It was a short walk from the nearest Metro station - the only down side being its location just outside of the city, though this was not a major problem. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, if compact! Our room had a good bed and decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was a little early and somewhat monotonous after a few days, but a reasonable selection nonetheless and you could eat as much as you wanted - so no need to go hungry! The size of the dining room was inadequate for the number of users but I think all were fed eventually! Staff were always pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for cost and facilities. The compromise on location is well worth it as it would be difficult to find a hotel of the same standard closer to town for the price. Give it a go!!
