Liked: I liked this place because it was next to the Gare de Lyon train station and metro, and within walking distance to many places in Paris.

Disliked: Everything is so cramped and small. I didn´t like how each room had a sink, but the bathrooms/showers were in the communal hall. Breakfast was too "cute": it comes out of a vending machine, but they give you tokens for those.

Liked: Good location right by the Gare de Lyon station.

Disliked: No hot water past 21h and hardly any electricity in my room. When I complained about it, the night host said he couldn't do anything and that I should talk to the morning host, which turned out not so good with no result (twice!).

Liked: The relation between price - benefit, and the location.

Disliked: Unfortunately they don't have any kind of security for the guests goods, and the only option they offer is to leave them with the guy from the reception or well, to take them with you.

Liked: Nothing.pls dont go here it is the worse place ever

Disliked: everything. Staff is un friendly and not nice at all. The room are dirty and smell bad. The breakfast i found it expired so dont go there!

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: It smelt of paint in our rooms so it was hard to sleep. The staff weren't very friendly. Everything was over priced. You has to pay for sheets even though you really dont need them. No drinking allowed anywhere in the hostel. Didn't feel like a fun place to be.

Liked: location (close to metro, gare de lyon, l'open tour bus stop + 15-20 min to Notre Dame + 10 min to brisk riverside in the evening); price (20euro with breakfast - coffe and two buns); bathrooms are clean (+there is a shower in the room and on the floor)

Disliked: you can pay only in cash, you should pay for linen (2euro), you should arrive strict at time you mentioned on the web, otherwise your reservation would be cancelled (but there could be some places anyway), no hot water in rooms (at least at ours), one key for room (maybe it's a good thing - you definately won't pay for the lost key if you haven't even seen it), only one socket in the room, no wi-fi

Liked: I think people should do it justice when they say this's the worst hostel they've ever stayed in. OF course it's not the best, but for 20euros a night in Paris, this's probably what you'd get. The hostel is located really near to the metro station (3-minute walk), but if you just plan to walk around Paris, then it's a bit far away from the city centre. It's clean and the guys at the desk are nice. Not sure about the night life part though as it's not my point of travelling.

Disliked: The only setback is that half of the time when I was having the shower, the water was cold...

Liked: The price was good. The rooms were fairly large and they only had three beds in them so it was peaceful. There was also a basin in the room with a mirror etc so that was helpful. The staff were really nice as well and they spoke perfectly decent English and obviously French. It's located right near Gare de Nord which was extremely helpful, though not many tourist attractons were around here. You could walk to them though if you really wanted to. It took me about 40 mins to walk to the Lourve from the hostel.

Disliked: There was only one key per room. As I was sharing with a very socialable girl who would like to come back from clubs at around 4am, this was a bit of a problem as I would have to get up to let her in. The showers are also horrible. I don't think I ended up having a hot shower at all while there. They are also the kind that you have to continuously press to keep the water going, so washing my hair was a big task. There was also only one bathroom/toilet per floor and there were about 10 rooms per floor so it was a bit difficult in the morning. But the showers were clean so it didn't matter that much.

Liked: The location is incredible - 2 minute walk from the Gare De Lyon metro station which has lines to most tourist sites. Also, tonnes of great cafes, creperies and patisseries that are affordable in the neighbourhood that are not affordable and delicious.

Disliked: The bathrooms! There were five bathrooms in the hostel - one per floor. We stayed for 2 nights and on our second night three of the five bathrooms were un-usable. Also, there are no sinks in the toilets so you have to walk back to your room to wash your hands - weird and kind of gross.

Liked: Very well located, really close to the subway.

Disliked: The bedrooms were smelling bad, because of recent painting or something. The breakfast was terrible (industrialized croissants and machine coffee). The shower was horrible, impossible to take a decent showe (little water and usually not hot).

Liked: Good location

Disliked: No kitchen, no possibility to prepare dinner or sth. you couldn't eat in rooms, you couldn't drink alcohol in rooms or even in the pathio.

Liked: It was exactly what I needed: a cheap place to sleep in the middle of Paris.

Disliked: There wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like, but then I didn't have very high expectations.

Liked: Good location, near to Gare de Lion, Bastila and little market, bars and restaurants.

Disliked: Cleanliness and property looks (walls, pinting, etc.) it's not good. The staff is more worried about the rules than the cusmoters. And the bar/TV room close to early and because this haven't possibility of interaction between guests.

Liked: location

Disliked: extremely dirty and the walls smell paint. so it is too hard to sleep. the breakfast is disaster. you get just 3 coins and you can take coffe and some sorts of prepaired cookies. beds are uncomfartable and dirty. wc and baths are on the floor and due to the dirt , it is nearly impossible to use them. so, it is not recommendable for even 20 euro to stay in this hostel. the location is good, in gare de lyon, but thanks to the metro lines it is easy to travel within the city. that's why location does not compensate for this disasterous hostel.

Liked: It's 2 min from Gare de Lyon and there were no cockroaches or mice. Pretty quiet also. Some of the staff were very nice. It's perfect for an accidental one night stay.

Disliked: Hmm, where shall I start? OK, it is 20 EUR per night, which is very cheap for Paris, but it's really not worth it. The rooms are extremelly small, the shower is one per floor and there's often no hot water left. There's no WiFi, you need to pay 3 EUR for half an hour on their crappy PCs. And even there the Internet works only until midnight. Each day they kick you out at 11 AM and let you in at 3 PM and not a minute earlier, because there are people supposedly cleaning the rooms.

Liked: specifically, nothing at all, I stayed at hostels around the Europe, in Riga, Prague, Barcelona, this was the worst

Disliked: stuff - totally unfriendly and unwilling to help. between 11 and 3 pm throw you out of the room - "cleaning", do not let you in - even you paid for your room, but no, you cannot go into your room. Receptionists and people there really unfriendly, I was so surprised how bad it was. only czech guy was an exception. Just really disappointing place to be. Also toilets and shower - felt like in a third world country, not in Europe.
