Liked: the location was convenient and close to Gare du Lyon on the Metro Line 1

Disliked: No security lockers, didn't accept credit card, had a hard time finding the reservation I made online with HostelBookers, unclean facilities, minimal breakfast, too expensive

Liked: Location near Gare de Lyon was good.

Disliked: There was only one key for the room so if the person who had the key didn't return it to reception you had no way of accessing the room. No hot water. Breakfast was from a vending machine but the machine ate one of my coins and I couldn't get another. The power point in my room didn't work. Bugs in the bathroom. And I only stayed here one night!

Liked: the only good thing about the hostel was the kind gentleman at reception, the most helpful and the location of the place was very good as well

Disliked: the hostel is way over priced, not very clean and a rubbish breakfast (from a vending machine)

Liked: clean. close to a metro stop. basically just a place to sleep, nothing more. cheap and gets the job done. don't expect too much but if you just need a place to sleep this is a good place to stay.

Disliked: breakfast is from a vending machine. some mattresses are uncomfortable. facilities are really small and they don't have any free soap.

Liked: Close to the train station but that's about it

Disliked: Staff were not very friendly, seemed uninterested in wanting to talk to or help patrons. The area of Paris that it's located in is quite poor compared to what one would expect of Paris. There is a needle dispensary not 20m from the hostel...doesn't make for a fun environment. No real place to hang out with other backpackers either.

Liked: the location was it's only saving grace. especially if you take a train across europe

Disliked: the 'internet' they offered was payable but wasn't mentioned in the description. the showers were abit below expectations. the beds look nasty and uncleaned. there is no powerpoint whatsoever in the rooms itself.

Liked: Location, rooms always available as nobody wants to stay there

Disliked: Don't eat this so-called "breakfast" if you don't want to feel sick: old, industrial pain au chocolat, stored in a machine for a long time and powder-water based warm drinks from another machine. No electricity in the rooms, even is there is one socket per room. One toilet per floor, one shower too - to dirty to be bothered to take it.

Liked: Good location close to two train stations and the metro lines, too. Not too far walk from Notre Dame, either.

Disliked: The breakfas was a joke - one croissand from a vending machine. The bathrooms weren't too clean,either.

Liked: Very close to the train station and a number of sites if you are up for a bit of walking. The rooms host only three people which was nice.

Disliked: Overall the hostel wasn't awful but it had some definite flaws. The breakfast is bread from a machine and coffee, which seems ridiculous in a city where a baguette costs 1 euro and can be found on every street corner. The outlet in the room stopped working after about an hour of use. There is no handwashing station next to the toilet so you have to walk back to your room to wash your hands, passing through three doors, one of which you must unlock with a key. It was a little gross. If you are only looking to stay for a night in a cheap hostel, this one is fine. If you are looking for a better experience, I'd go with another accommodation.

Liked: Amazing Athmosphere and staff were Perfect. Great area close to everything. Definitely recommend this place. After reading reviews I was worried but so pleasantly suprised! Will stay there again!

Disliked: we were three girls in a three person room, but when we come to our room we found someones' belongings in our room. they said they maid a mistake but it was really annoying.

Liked: The location right next to Gare de Lyon made taking the metro very easy. Rooms are decent size with at least sink (some have toilets also).

Disliked: No lockers for you bags. Breakfast = free tokens for the vending machine(and the coffee machine only made hot chocolate) They sold out of sheets before my friends and I arrived (How can they not have enough sheets?!!?). The security for leaving your stuff in the room was lacking.

Liked: I met many interesting people from many places

Disliked: The shower, I have to push the tap all the time. More importantly, there is no wifi access. If you want to surf internet, you have to pay 3e/30 minutes, which costs an arm and a leg!

Liked: It was close to a train stop. The rooms were decently clean.

Disliked: I did not think it was worth the price we paid, plus they charge you for everything that they possibly can charge you for. (No free internet access w/o your own laptop.) I thought the staff were not the friendliest. There was no sink in the bathrooms, the showers were cold, and the bathrooms weren't that clean. No alcohol on the premises, but the staff and friends sat outside and drank for most of the night.

Liked: the location was excellent.

Disliked: i missed cleanness and modernity. the bathrooms on each floor looked like bathrooms on a camping area. the bedsheets and blankets were dirty and splotched!

Liked: The location. It's right next to the Gare de Lyon station which is well connected with trains and the metro. It also figures on the hop on hop off tours. The price is also a worthy mention. Don't think any other accommodation in Paris offers this location for this price.

Disliked: Smelly rooms. Perhaps freshly painted, but not sure. Not so clean toilets. Saw a few psycho faces around, not sure if they were the hostellers or people from outside. The blinking red light at the entrance really makes this place look like some kind of a underworld hangout, not that scary though. The internet is a real big problem. NO WIFI whatsoever. There are a few desktops downstairs but they're cramped.

Liked: nothing

Disliked: expensive. plug in room not working. no hot shower, if you go there in winter for your own sake don't go there. the staffs are surprisingly not as monster as described and i can say it's quite clean
