Liked: Location was ok.

Disliked: Felt unclean. Staff not very friendly.

Liked: Didn't like anything.

Disliked: The man at the reception was really rude and angry when we first arrived - not friendly at all! When my friend and I saw how dirty the room and beds were we returned to the reception and said we didn't want to stay there and that we wanted our money back. We didn't get our money but still left because we didn't want to sleep in such filthy beds.

Liked: Location in Paris is really good - close to train station, Gare de Lyon and the metro. This is definitely a hostel for those trying to keep costs down in Paris.

Disliked: Only one key per room. Showers and toilets were not cleaned regularly enough, and no hook or bench to hang up your towel or clothes when you're in the shower. Definitely want flip flops in the bathroom. No wi-fi or printer. Five-floor building with a narrow stairway and no elevator.

Liked: One of the front desk agents was really friendly and helpful. An older, dark haired gentleman.

Disliked: Due to thin walls and an old, thin, squeaky wooden staircase, it is so loud day and night. The towel and sheet rentals should be mentioned in the description before you book the stay. They each cost two euros and the towel was filthy. The wi fi is three euros for thirty minutes and it is so slow most of those minutes are spent waiting for pages to download. There is no hot water in the showers, just momentary flashes of luke warm and then back to cold.

Liked: It was very close to the the train station and to the underground metro. It also provided breakfast in the morning.

Disliked: I thought the morning receptionist was very unhelpful and unfriendly. They didn't have security lockers, charged for using sheets and had really expensive dial up internet.

Disliked: Every thing from the beds, shower and toilet, it was not air conditioned. Do your self a favour and spend an extra bit of money and stay some where else or sleep in the park as its just as comfortable!

Liked: Staying here was great if your looking for a cheap stay, but be pre-pared for rude staff. They don't like to help very much, there was know tourist information and they arent good with directions. As long as you have your own info it's good. Breakfast is free but not really breakfast, a old tasting pastry and a tea or coffee. Location is ok, its right near Gare De Lyon station which is good and its about a 1.5hour walk to the main attractions.

Disliked: The staff, the bathroom facilities, the breakfast and no information for tourists and they cannot give you any,

Liked: it is very cheap, and the location is great.

Disliked: the bathrooms in the rooms can not be locked, so you have no privacy, and the breakfast is very bad they just give you three coins for take a coffee from a machine and bake for another machine

Liked: Very good hostel, was my first experience of staying in one and it didn't disappoint for the money spent. Very basic, bunk beds, communal toilets and showers, but overall for the price was excellent. People complain about the noise, but the room was very quiet. Very very close to central Paris, right by novotel near Gare De Lyon station which has access to central Paris. Cheap and worth it, would recommend it. Only bad thing was that the toilets had no sink, sinks were located in the rooms. For the location and price it is a winner.

Disliked: No Private Rooms On Offer No Sink In Toilet Pay 2 Euro's for Bedding (Bring Your Own) Pay 2 Euro's Towels

Liked: the location is pretty good - not far away from Gare de Lyon.

Disliked: First of all it's hard to find the street, then the wc and shower located on the floor are really in terrible condition! The rules of staying are strange: you cannot stay in the room between 11.00 and 15.00.

Liked: location and price per nigth is okay

Disliked: I stayed in the the room PR 0 and there are no windows which open to the outside (just to the luggage room) therefore it was very hot and loud in the room. Some members of the staff were not not very helpful. The breakfast is poor and not fresh.

Liked: Location is excellent and the availability of breakfast.

Disliked: There was just one socket in the bedroom which didn't work properly, the furniture was just the beds, no chair, no table, no wardrobes, no mirrors which makes it so unconfortable. Just one key for bedroom, so if you are sleeping and another customer arrives, you have your sleep disturbed because she will knock the door in order to have it opened. In other hand if nobody in the room opens the door, you need to go down stairs again and ask staff to open the door for you. The toilets has no basin and tap to wash hands after use it. In the bathroom there is no handle for clothes and soup to wash hands. In the common room there is no frigde, oven or cooker avaiable and closes at 10 am for cleaning. The internet is expensive (3 Euro for an half hour) and depends on the computer you pick it works so slowly. Staff argues in front of customers.

Liked: The staff is very helpful and nice!

Disliked: There were no chairs and tables outside. It was much much better with them. Dirty showers and toilets !

Liked: We could put luggage that was the only thing good.

Disliked: There are hotels which would provide everything bed sheets, towels and even toilets in your private room. Here these were not found.

Liked: It's very close to Gare de Lyon

Disliked: It was impossible to take a shower, the water was cold and there were cockroaches in our room. I couldn't sleep well from fear that bugs will start creeping on the dirty blanket. We had to carry our luggage up 4 floors on a tiny staircase.
