Liked: This hostel was basic but very cheap for Parisian prices and put on a free breakfast for everybody. The internet was a bit slow but there's a café almost next door which you can use if the hostel's computers are struggling. Also there are no security lockers and only one key per room which you have to leave at reception when you go out. I had no problems at all at this hostel but I wonder if it would really be so hard to get another couple of keys cut...

Liked: The staff was very nice and helpful and everyone spoke excellent English. The hostel was very cozy, although it could've been cleaner. I had a great stay and I met wonderful people all around the world! I definitely recommend the Woddstock Hostel. :)

Liked: location is very good, we were walking around Montmartre every night. it was easy to meet new people there, I met really nice girls.i liked that though rooms are mixed, they try to put girls only with girls. they have kitchen, and it was ok to use it, but almost no forks and knives, so buy them yourself in the supermarket at the corner.and at nights it is quite noisy, because of traffic, so ear plucks is a good idea ;).In the end - I am very content with Woodstock hostel.

Liked: it's a very noisy place. it's next to the road where buses&motos pass through with loud noise. you can't sleep well in your room. plus the dorms and bathrooms are very dirty.

Liked: Really Nice place, night staff is great, morning staff are somewhat mean. It's not very clean, but if you're not picky about that, the location is great, they have free wi-fi, and seemed to have the most interesting people of any hostel on my trip.

Liked: Good location right near the Sacre Coeur, rooms and bathrooms clean. Breakfast is rubbish but there is kitchen to make your own stuff. Wanted to book an extra night but was told I couldn't, even though there were three spaces in my room

Liked: I loved the neighborhood, being close to the Anvers metro station was terrific, nearby to Velib bikes, grocery store 1/2 block away, the cat was so awesome and welcoming (much more so than the woman behind the counter, is she a robot?) the location is quite "non-tourist" which added so much overall value to my stay. The hot chocolate served at breakfast was just heavenly. The fact that there is a kitchen with a fridge is GREAT, especially being able to freeze water bottles (since ice doesn't seem to be plentiful anywhere in Paris) ovenight so you could grab & go in the morning. The small courtyard is pleasant on summer evenings. There is a luggage storage room in the lobby if you need to stash your stuff, very helpful. The sheets and towels they rent out are clean, which is good because the mattresses are not.

Liked: Overall Id recommend this hostel, but with some reservations. I stayed there for 4 days, but cant remember seeing any of the staff smile. Even speaking seemed a bit of an effort for them! However they werent actually unpleasant. The hostel was a good place for meeting other travellers. The atmosphere Id say is pretty good. The price Id say is good too, especially when you look at other accomodation in Paris. The curfew is pretty ridiculous - 2am. The location is okay - near to Monmartre, and near the tube station. Ibb.

Liked: Clean and very friendly.The 2am curfew isn't very easy to make some nights in a city like Paris. Also, the key to my room was missing one afternoon when I really wanted to drop some stuff off, but the receptionist at the front was able to hold my articles. Very Good Location
