Liked: I booked a single and the room was extremely large with a double bed. Although the furniture in the room was quite old there was a basin, fridge and microwave in the room, as well a large desk and wardrobe. The toilets and showers were very clean and the location is good. It is very secure, you need the pass code to get in the building, then the key to the hostel floor then the key to your room. I was very sick when in Nice and the young couple who run the hostel gave me the details of a doctor to see. They were very helpful and the desk is staffed 24 hours. I would definitely stay there again as it was good value for money and spacious.

Liked: I really liked staying here. It's basic but adequate, and the beaches are only a fifteen minute walk. The staff, a husband and wife team, was thrilled with my attempts to speak French to them and were super accommodating as a result. Wifi and fridge in the rooms a huge plus. Slightly annoying that there are no lockers in the room but staff kept my things safe and sound overnight.

Liked: Nice staff, who waited up until 1am when we finally arrived. No kitchen! Though free internet and laptop usage, and a fridge. No lockers for luggage storage. Good location.

Liked: I did not enjoy this hostel. The beds were uncomfortable, did they get them fro a jail clearance sale?Really grungy, could do with a good spring clean

Liked: Not a good place to meet people as there's no communal area, and there's no breakfast on offer, but it's in a great location by the station and good value for money.

Liked: The location of the hostel is great as it's really close to the main hight street and station. Its also pretty cheap place to stay, but if you want a friendly atmosphere where you want to meet other travellers then this is not the place to be. The staff were really friendly and helpful though

Liked: I enjoyed my stay at hostel pastoral. The long shopping street around the corner leading to the beach and the station nearby so you can visit places close to Nice. Frederique and Sabrina do a good job running this hostel while residing in it.The room I stayed in had a shower and sink. The bathroom plus extra shower are available in the hall. They also lend you a laptop for an hour if you want and beach towels.I would recommend this hostel to anyone trying to have a nice stay in Nice.
