Liked: The couple who run the place are really nice and helpful and seem to enjoy their job. Made such a nice change compared to the rest of France! Also was only a 15 min walk to the beach and internet and cheap food nearby. Met some great people in there too. No lockers in the rooms, but the owner was happy to lock up valuables for you.

Liked: It's a good price for what you get but don't expect much. Its about a 15 minute walk from the beach and main town. Which never really felt like a chore.

Liked: The owner is very nice person. Offered his help when we encountered some problems with our next destination's accom. Highly recommended for his helpfulness and going for extra mile service!!!

Liked: A great place to stay in Nice, if you are looking to just chill out. Frederick is an absolutely great guy, and is extremely helpful. We did have our own room with shower (so I can't speak for the other room types). It might be on the older side, but it's kept clean, it's safe, it's reasonable. We would definitely stay there again.

Liked: The owner went way above and beyond to help. Very friendly and personable. Just need to be slightly careful at night due to location.

Liked: The hostel is nice and close to the train station which is great, but about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The beach is all stone anyway so it's good being by the train station as the trains go to Monaco and sandy beaches. Staff very friendly and helpful for ie. which beach is the best. No common room, breakfast or kitchen.

Liked: Super friendly staff, Frédéric, the owner, was so helpful as I had to go back to London for a day because of a family emergency, and he found somewhere for my friend to stay while I was away. He's a lovely guy, and let me leave my stuff there, explained how to get to the airport, etc. etc...

Liked: I liked having a fridge in the room! The room was generally nice, and large and everything about this hotel was lovely. Perfect location next to the high street, and train station. Easy to find too. Friendly owner.

Liked: I loved the staff; they were so helpful and pleasant, regardless of language barriers. I also loved the accomodations! The rooms were clean, with refrigerators and comfortable beds in the private rooms. It was like staying in a hotel, but at a hostel price. A+++ all-around.

Liked: Basic - but clean and friendly hostel with OK beds. There are no breakfirst available at the hostel, but in front of the hostel You'll find 'Mets and Cafes' which is a friendly and cheap restaurant.

Liked: There was a good group of people in our room and we felt safe. The staff was friendly and the rooms and showers were very clean.

Liked: Frederic and his family were very friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of advice on the area and what were the best things to do/see. The hostel was very clean itself and and I felt that my valuables were safe and secure there. The hostel is located very close to the train station and is within walking distance of everywhere; all the main attraction/places to eat...we must have walked the whole of Nice by the end of our stay!
