Liked: Friendly staff, nice and clean room. Nothing amazing although nothing terrible about the place either. Best thing was staff and location. Could have done with a common room.

Liked: I liked how close it was to the train station but not that far of a walk down town. I liked how they had towels for us to take to the beach. staff was very friendly. it was a little noisy outside the window during the night.

Liked: Near the train station and main shopping stretch, the hostel has an excellent location.Staff are friendly and speak English, and the hostel seems to attract many other friendly people. Everything is clean, works pretty well and definitely comfortable.My only complaint is the showers, the water pressure was non-existent and it kept going hot/cold. But still, I'd definitely go back if in Nice.

Liked: The location near main train station is a strong point. Everything is pretty nice except the hot water problem (sometimes it was lost and sometimes it came back with a great amount).

Liked: Awsome staff, very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything in the area. Free internet was great! Fridge and microwave in the room made dinners cheap!

Liked: The staff, the fact that they load laptops for free so you can use the internet for an hr :D, also the microwave and fridge in every room, and loaning beach towels again for free...Think its excellent..

Liked: Incredibly close to the train station and a 15 minute meander to the beach. Great location and amazing staff. 5 laptops are available to use for free as well as towels and beach towels. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful regarding places to see and bars to visit.

Liked: Things I liked- The staff was incredibly helpful. They had laptops you could use for the day (each day) if you wanted to, and they were all set up for the WiFi. Also they had a drop box for keys for if you had to leave early in the morning so you didn't have to wake up earlier to do checkout, which was great as I left at 5amWhat I didn't like... If there were lockers I didn't see them, and I wasn't told about them... also I think it's the only hostel I've ever stayed in that didn't have a common room, which makes it harder to meet people. All in all I'd def. recommend this hostel

Liked: Great location 15 walk from the beach and the route there is very pleasant you pass many cafés and shops. Also there is a microwave and fridge in every room! V. helpful and means you don`t have to eat out all the time. I would recopmmend it.

Liked: Hotel Pastoral will be appreciated by those using Nice as transit cities. A night or two, and wants to be near the train station. I was there in the middle of a strike so it helped I could afford to make runs to the train station and back. It's right off Avenue Jean Medicine which leads to the old city, the shops, the wide promenade and the world's most pointless beaches. Ensuite toilets definitely makes staying there somewhat better but there are no lockers so you gotta lug all your valuables out. No luck at meeting people there but the owners will loan you a laptop if you need to do any surfing.

Liked: I liked how friendly the owner was, and how helpful the staff were as well. Met some cool people. Big pluses: computers to use, and shower in dorm room.
