 The Owners of the hostel were very warm and friendly. Gave good info about where to go and how to get around with a great orientation map. Remembered my name and ensured I enjoyed my stay. I would definately recommend this hostel. Only 15 mins walking from the old town and the beach.

The host and hostess of the hotel are very generous and kind. This is definitely a popular hostel to book. My suggestion is that booking this hostel as early as you can, otherwise you will lose your chance for the most friendly hotel you will ever live in

The staff was extremely helpful giving tips on travel around Nice and for things such as the weather forecast, museum hours and places to eat out. The location is very convienent to the train station, however it's a 15 minute walk to the heart of Nice where most of the shopping, night life, and restaurants are.

The couple hosting was really friendly and helpful! And they personally help you take care of any luggage during the day that you are out, which was awesome!

The room is really very nice, with a nice ambiance, a micro-wave and fridge (very practical tip for the cheap travellers amongst us! to get baguette and cheese for breakfast at the Monoprix close by), our room was cleaned the second day, and there was no curfew, and we were allowed to check out quite late. Too bad that a japanese girl woke us when talking a bit loud during the night in the hall way, but that can happen...in short, two thumbs up for this hotel! :o)

Staff was very courteous, maybe because I spoke to them in French- I didn't expect them to cater to English. They obliged all of my wishes and I believe they gave me preferential treatment.

Since we visited in the off-peak season we ended up with one of the largest rooms at the hotel. The hotel was in need of some restoration (which they were in the process of doing), but this was probably the most fantastic room I rented throughout my trip. The double bed was plenty for two people and we had a private and clean bathroom. The refrigerator and microwave was an added benefit for those that prefered to save some money on food. The owners were also VERY helpful for information on places to see and locations of post offices and other services. They even give you a very detailed map of the city right when you check in that ended up being very useful.

The room was spacious, and had nice big windows overlooking a very French street. The staff were wonderful, Frederick and his family are extremely friendly and helpful. They made the stay so much more enjoyable.
