Customer reviewLocation was great. Only a 5 minute walk from the old town. Really safe and reception staff were pleasant. Also really close to the bus station. If you want to meet lots of people then it's probably not the place to stay. |

Customer reviewGreat Location! 10-15 min walk from TGV Nice Ville Station, clear directions given on website. Close to the beach, restaruants and stores. Very friendly staff, willing to help out in any way. You get what you pay for, cant expect any less or more. Cant complain, and free internet! |

Customer reviewThis budget hotel is just around the corner from the tram line to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the Old Town and sea front. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there is someone on the reception 24hours a day. The decor of the rooms is old but really all that matters is cleanliness and ours was absolutely spotless. Clean room, new bedsheets, big spotless bathroom with large clean towels. There was also a big TV with cable channels and a fridge in the room. We didn't bother with the breakfast as there are places nearby, try the Cafe Ritz round the corner, breakfast menu for 6.90. I would most definitely stay here again, the place is an absolute bargain given its location and I cannot fault it on cleanliness. |

Amanda AvilesWe had an amazing experience at Hotel Helvetique! The staff was so friendly and willing to help us with everything we needed, from late check in to complimentary luggage storage. After staying in hotels and hostels in Paris and Barcelona, this was by far the best and felt more like a high quality hotel than a hostel. We had shampoo and soap in our individual bathroom, wifi, and the option for breakfast. It was located in the perfect part of town, near the beach, shopping, and old town. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone going to Nice! |

Davor ZaluskiOK, location of the hotel is great, staff is friendly and (mostly) helpful, a cleaning service is provided every day and so on, but there's one thing I didn't like: they charge you for the entire hotel bill immediately at check-in. I think this is completely unnecessary since they have every detail about you credit card (the one used for online booking), so even if you decide to run away without paying, they can still charge your card. I maid this note to one of the receptionists and he said he's going to advice the hotel's manager about this. Otherwise, I definitely recommend it! |
