Backpacker’s Chez Patrick has been, and continues to be, the favorite hostel for budget travelers. Our hostel has been recommended in many well-known travel guides such as The Lonely Planet-Europe, the Rough Guide-France, Le Guide du Routard...

We are centrally located in the heart of Nice, close to some of the major shopping centres in downtown. We are 3 minutes distance to the train station SNCF and there are tram stops, airport shuttle stop and 10-15 minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais and beaches.
Our rooms are comfortable, clean, safe and perfect place to relax. All the rooms have air condition and free safety box for your valuables. Linen and city taxes are included in the room rate. Please note that there are no kitchen, we do not provide breakfast, but we are located in the middle of a shopping street with a choice of cafes and restaurants.
The hostel staff will be happy to help in any way they can from advising you on the best places to visit while you are in Nice and the surrounding areas to recommending a restaurant or café to have to dinner any evening.
You have your own keys and you can enter the hostel whenever you want. There is a refundable key deposit of 20 EUR which will be refunded when the guests return the key before check out..

Please note that there is lockout time from 11:00 to 14:00 hours daily, during which we clean the rooms.

HOSTEL POLICY:
*** Cancellation or modification of booking must be notified at least
48 hours before arrival date, only by e-mail.
*** In order to secure your reservation, check-in day we will charge 1
night to your credit card. The hostel reserves the right to refuse
booking if credit card is invalid.
*** Please be aware that after arrival should you decide to check out
earlier than the departure date originally booked, the booking payment
will not be refunded.

Location Information

Many attractions are within walking distance from the hostel including the old town, which has excellent restaurants, cafés and bars, pubs and nightclubs for those who like to enjoy night life.
Other attractions include the Flowers Market on the Cours Saleya, the shopping street Place Masséna with restaurants and cafés on terrace, the Acropolis Congress Centre and many other interesting sites.

Whilst in Nice at our hostel, you can also visit other Côte d'Azur towns: Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and small villages such as St. Paul de Vence, Eze (for €1 - by bus)
