This hostel was fantastic!
OK, I was pickpocketed while in Barcelona, and the front desk let me use the phone for like an hour.. They were so helpful, and very concerned, and they made sure I had a place to stay while I got my credic cards replaced.
The staff is awesome! And at any hostel, the staff is what makes the difference... becauce every hostel has clean beds. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone!

Really nice and helpful staff. The rooms are ok, have air conditioning which is nice; the location is very good; near the beach and plenty of restaurants. nice to have free internet access.

I loved that the rooms had showers/toilets and mostly that they had air conditioning!!!! I appreciated this mostly after being bitten by bugs from open windows at night, this one I could leave the window closed and not die of heat, it was fabulous!

The hotel is close to the train station and only a 15min walk to the beach. There were cooking facilities and a large supermarket nearby. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

The staff was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. there were all necessary facilitiies within walking distance of the hostel. the only area that confused me was if breakfastt was available? but some of that was the language difference. Dan the manager or owner was very helpful and i was greatful for access to the free internet outlets. the only other coment is that if the hostel is not planning to install airconditioning for the summer then they should look at installing fan in the private rooms (which is where i stayed) it was one of the most pleasent accommodation used for my three week trip through europe.

This hostel was such a pleasant surprise! I had booked it at the last minute and there was virtually nothing left in Nice except a bed at Antares. I must admit that I believe the other write-ups that have been posted must have been written by someone who was confused. This hostel had a great outdoor patio to hang out and meet other people. The kitchen was a great addition which helped with keeping the costs down a bit. The free inrternet access with 4 computers availbale was very much appreciated. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. I came back to the hostel again 2 weeks later and everyone was so happy to see me back! Thank you!

The value was excellent, the rooms were very nice, and well kept. Air conditioning was a nice reprieve from hot nights. The beach isn't far, and the walk is pleasant. Staff was accommodating, they changed our room from a six person dorm to a four. I would recommend it, and I would stay there again.

The location was very close to the train station, restaurants etc. The dorm itself was fine. It was around 20mins walk to the beach. I would stay there again.

It was near the train station which suited us well. We stayed for only one night as we were just passing through Nice. It was close to good restaurants as well. The staff was accomodating.

It was a nice, clean, friendly place. Very close to the train station and easy to find. Good, reasonably priced shops and restaurants nearby. A lot of young, English-speaking guests there on holiday.
HOWEVER, only one computer, so expect to wait a bit if you need to use the Internet. The area around it is also kind of seedy--lots of scruffy-looking men leering at you, aggressive panhandlers and drunks--so I would highly advise against going out alone at night to use a payphone, etc., especially for girls.
