Liked: I had a great time here! One of the best hostels I have been to, located in the citycenter with nice,clean and comfortable rooms, free wifi and very friendly staff! Would definetly stay again and recommend to friends!!!!

Liked: Really good hostel! Location is more that perfect! In the heart of the city. Rooms are clean, staff very helpful espacially Flora and Barbara... Would definetly come back!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Paradis. It is more a hotel than a hostel, so every room has a private bathroom and there are no bunk beds which is great. Rooms are clean and staff is very helpful. Location is amazing!!! In the heart of the city!!! Would definetly recommend to others!

Liked: The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely convenience as just 5 mins walk to the beach and also not far to the town.

Disliked: The room is not clean as I found some stain on the sheet cover. The doors of the room and toilet were so difficult to open after I closed them. It's a bit old in everything as I thing they have to fix them.

Liked: Location was great. A quick one minute walk to beach and quick walk to most resturaunts and shops. Very quiet area and very safe. Hotel is next to shops like Hugo boss and louis vuitton, therefore it is always safe and clean. Staff were helpful and can book in many tours for you. Rooms were spacious and a good bathroom. Rooms are cleaned everyday and you can chose to order breakfast to your room. Rooms have a tv. We knew several people who also stayed in nice at the same time as us and they all complained about the hotels or hostels they were staying at. It's seems hotel paradis is one of the best!!!!!

Liked: I loved having my own bathroom in my room, not like other hostels. Having my own key for the room was nice. The WiFi was very good and reached my room well. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and always helpful. When I arrived late at night, there was a night guard to let me in.

Disliked: The shower head did not hang from the ceiling, so I had to hold it. Anyone can walk into the hotel itself, so hopefully the person at the front desk is there to protect the rooms.

Liked: The location is great, near the beach and the center, nice restaurants close. Also the room is clean, and there is a fridge empty in the room so you can keep your food and drinks cold.

Disliked: There is a really small lift, and it goes only to the 3. floor, (4 floors in the hotel).

Liked: Perfect location, right across the street from the beach, in a posh touristy part of town, close to Vieux Nice. Guy at reception was great - really nice and helpful. Bathrooms decently clean and room had a fridge.

Disliked: 5-bed dorm was cramped - I could only stand up straight in certain parts of the room because it's in the attic. Room seemed a little rundown and old (carpets were dingy) and the only "window" in the room was a small sun roof. Don't know if the room photo is of a hotel room (because it's a hotel with hostel rooms on the top floor), but my room looked nothing like that. A guy, I think the owner (saw him at the sister hotel when there using internet), kept looking me up-and-down when I was waiting to ask questions at reception =S

Liked: It was perfect! Great location, helpful friendly staff, beautifully quant little room with own balcony and shower. I really honestley loved it here, and will definitely come back!

Liked: First off, this review probably won't get published as hostelbookers clearly doesn't publish negative reviews anymore. But I arrived at the hostel I had booked through this site and the guy at reception says 'oh, non monsiuer' - my bed was to be in their sister hostel 500 meters away. No apologies, but at least they gave me a map. Then at the next hostel I was told I would have to switch rooms after 1 night. Although I was going out of my way not to show any indication of annoyance at any of this the staff started to make out I was being aggressive - I guess what they were doing is what psychologists call the defensive-aggressive that bullies often employ to hide their own bad behaviour. Then, sitting on my dorm bed working on my laptop, an American girl and her friend comes in, I say hi, she gives me a weird look and both start laughing and run out. I overhear them telling reception that she wants to be put in a different room because of the way I had apparently looked at her (and of course, the staff can sort that out instantly). Later, the guy who appeared to be the manager, insulted and was aggressive to me in the public square in Nice when he was with a friend and I was alone.Nice.
