Liked: On the shabby side and not the cleanest but you CAN'T beat the location. It's located on one of the nicest shopping streets in Nice (right next to Louise Vuitton) and only a 2 minute walk from the beach. You can easily walk from the train station in 10 minutes if you don't have too much luggage. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We reserved to stay in the 5 person dorm but it was full when we arrived so they let us stay in a private double without paying more money! The location of this place really made our trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. As long as you're not looking for luxury, I would definitely recommened Hotel Paradis.

Liked: Location and helpful staff.btw, what you mean by fun place? I nowadays avoid those claiming "fun", because they endup noise and trash place. But this is clam and quite! - i need good sleep. so, pls change you question.

Liked: The location here was AMAZING! Right by the water. But be warned that there is a tiny elevator that only goes up to the 3rd floor. We were on the 5th floor so we were stuck carrying our heavy bags the rest of the way up the stairs. Staff is also not always available. But our room was nice and you couldn't beat the location!

Liked: Well, actually it's a hotel not a hostel! This means that there's bathroom in all the rooms plus tv, fridge, but there's no lounge for the ones who want to meet people. It's right in the centre of Nice, you can access it really easily by bus from the airport and it's within walking distance from the old city, the sea-Promenade des Anglais- and even the fortress. It was clean and totally safe with very helpful staff-I must have asked a lot of times!- and the sister hotel is nearby for internet if not brought your netbook since there's free wi-fi. I certainly recommend it as it was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in concerning also its good price:)

Liked: The location is great - really close to beach and old nice and even within walking distance (depending on your baggage and enthusiasm) from the train station. The staff are fabulous, really helpful and friendly even after hours!

Liked: I stayed in a 5 bed mixed ensure with myself there for 3 nights. The room smelled of mould and carpets looked really dirty with stains everywhere looked like someone could of died in there. Room is very shabby and run down. Room was cold at night even with air con on. Lamps and tv did not work. Male at reception very nice and helpful that was the only good thing about my stay. Place in very central location cheap rates but will pay abit more for comfort.

Liked: It is a decent hotel and the staff is speaking both french and english and it's helpful.The thing I didn't like is that I could hear the people in the other rooms speaking and snoring like they were in my room.The thing I liked a lot was the location:absolutely central,really great,the best spot to enjoy Nice!

Liked: Incredible location, right between Louis Vuitton and Emporio Armani in shopping district, minutes from the Mediterranean. Kind of shabby, though, and 6 stories with a lift that only goes to the third floor. "Free Internet" is a 10 minute walk away, not convenient at all.

Liked: Would definately recommend this place, close to waterfront, shops and restraunts. Staff are extremely helpful. Room was nice and clean, however bed was not good. Would definately stay here again!!!

Liked: The location is really great, nearby the beach and many resto, shopping streets. Besides, the staff are nice. They switch us to the room we prefer and let us put the bags there even we had already check-out. However, somtimes there's no hot water at night.

Liked: The location is fantastic - just a minute from the beach as well as being very close to the centre of Nice (and not far from the bus and train stations). There was no air-conditioning (only a fan) so i imagine it would be very hot in the height of summer. Bathroom was small but well appointed. Room was old but had some character and included a tv, safe, fridge, mirror, bedsides table and small balcony with chairs.Hotel staff were friendly and arrangement for after hours entry was easy. The free internet is at a different hotel about 5minutes away. Overall a good experience, but while not the most expensive place in Nice i thought it could be slightly cheaper to make it really good value.
