Liked: Extremely friendly & helpful staff that welcomed us (even when we were hours early to check in)! Great location,close to everything!

Disliked: Second floor is slightly renovated so ask for a first floor room!

Liked: The location is perfect- close to the beach, old town, and the train station, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and it was really easy to meet other travelers. All in all- it was a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nice.

Disliked: The 8 person room was very cramped and the beds were squeaky, but it is the most affordable option.

Liked: The staff, Audrei and Sophie very helpful and nice, they are helping you with your needs, they are making the stay a nicee stay, it's my 3 rd time in here and every time i've camed in it was even beter. The kitchen it is so good, free breakfast, u have pastas and rice from the house if u like to cook something. It's 2 minutes to thr beach, 10 to the train station. The guy that someone descri es him as beeng kreepy in fact he is a great company and a respectfull person.

Disliked: It does not have a private parking

Liked: Great location, definitely not the best hostel that I've been but worked. Staff members are very friendly and helpful, quite good breakfast and wifi available.

Disliked: Dirty corridors, disgusting shower curtains, old towels, shower sink blocked, definely a rat's burrow. Seems that the reception floor level has refurbished rooms, so, make sure you are booked to stay in one of them, otherwise, you will sleep in one of the floors above which are not new, and unfortunately was where I stayed.

Liked: Friendly staff. Audrey was great. Super close to the beach.

Disliked: There isn't a pub or bar. Common room can be a bit quiet at times. No lockers.

Liked: The staff here are GREAT! They go above and beyond to help you out and make you feel welcome.

Disliked: The walls in the rooms on the reception level are not soundproof at all!

Liked: The place was very clean and close to beach, with sheets and towels provided, free breakfast , free WIFI and bar fridge in rooms to keep own food; I will be staying there again when I get back, one of the best Hostels I have stayed in.

Disliked: One nite they did not have room, so they booked me into sister Hostel and that was very bad; The bed was a fold out bed in a room with three beds; Do not stay at this Hostel (Hotel) find another place if Meyerbeer is booked out;

Liked: it was really reasonably priced and in a great location only 2 blocks from the beach! the staff were really friendly, helpful and spoke english. we got internter EVERYWHERE. most of the hostel was very clean and the people staying there were all really friendly

Disliked: the 8 bedroom room we were in (19) was too small there was not enough room in there for 8 beds and 8 peoples worth of luggage. the toilet seat in our bedroom didnt stay up so was very awkward going to the toilet. the bathroom in the 8 person room had a lot less attention to cleanliness compared to the 4 person room we were in on the first night (unsure if this was for all rooms)

Liked: If you stay like 4 beds in a room that is quite nice. But if you more that is nt nice too busy..

Disliked: small room....not many seat for breakfast if many ppeople come together...

Liked: Free Internet, free breakfast, perfect location.

Disliked: Not the most helpful staff- two of the girls were quite rude but the others were nice enough. The dorms were tiny with eight beds squeezed in but it was alright.

Liked: They give you free breakfast, internet, towels for the beach :) also, great location, short stroll through a nice cafe and restaurant strip and close to the coast.

Disliked: Shower head was fixed to the wall and kept flopping down with no way to keep it up so the water ended up on the wall and not on me. Couldnt even detach the showerhead. Most. Difficult. Shower. Ever... lucky I was only there for one night. Also, a permanent dripping noise coming from near the waterboiler. Otherwise everything else was great.

Liked: Great social atmosphere and the free breakfast was awesome! Location not bad as Nice is pretty small anyway, and the staff were more than happy to give recommendations for restraunts to day tours around Nice and Monaco.

Disliked: They kept making people change rooms during their stay, 1 friend was booked in 5 nights and stayed in 4 different rooms. And the bunk beds were ridiculously squakey. But apart from this, it was a really great place to stay :)

Liked: Good location close to beach, pubs, restaurants and not too far from old town. Kitchen was small but good to have it available. Downstairs rooms are good. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Disliked: There are dorms upstairs and downstairs. We were in an upstairs dorm. Some are very cramped (e.g. everyone in our dorm was sleeping with their bags in their beds as there was no room to put them on the floor). They were also quite dirty and the floor always wet as the air con leaked. The downstairs dorms were brand new, with new beds and bathrooms and were much cleaner and roomier. Each dorm had one shower/toilet to share which was a bit of an issue in morn/evenings as there were no others to use.

Disliked: The Air Conditioning didn't work, and during August when we stayed there, the air conditioning was needed.

Liked: Terrific location, free wifi, the owner is lovely and does a free pasta and wine night which is unheard of in hostels normally! Really great place.

Disliked: a couple of the staff were quite rude..especially one of the girls (one of the bigger girls)..acted as though us asking questions about the facilities was a waste of her time.

Liked: Absolutely amazing place. The staff was the most friendly and helpful I have ever dealt with. It is a smaller hostel so the atmosphere was great for meeting people. The location is really close to to everything, the rooms are cleaned, the internet is free and fast, the breakfast is good and overall amazing time. The common area closes at midnight but everyone always found somewhere else to go. I really enjoyed my time here and met great people. I recomment it 100%.

Disliked: The only complaint is it does get hot at night in the common area and in rooms, but that really did not affect my stay.
